Appearance: Standing about five foot ten inches and weighing and underwhelming 142 pounds, Milo is a lean angular sort. He carries himself with a subtle strength and purpose, demeanor leaking from every movement. His build is one of a working, athletic person, wiry and graceful in a way. He moves in a rather slow and soft manner, most of the time deceiving those who don’t now him well. His cheery outlook and gentle ways mark him as the kind of person who gets along well with other. And by others he means everyone who sets foot in the café.
His ski is a light color that gives him a warmer look. Milo’s eyes are a sort of blue grey, soft like the rest of him and peaceful, unworried. They stare distant most of the time, as he is blind. Though he has learned to direct his face, and sometimes his eyes, at the person people he is talking to to make it seem as if he is looking at them. This bothers some people though, because they feel so watched by that calm unblinking stare. His mouth is thin and constantly turned in a smile o grin. Milo’s expressions are usually quite gentle, no malice or ill meaning ever to be found in them. He’s just a happy person and can't wish the world ill if he tried. Negative emotion is non-existent in his outlook on life. He's not effervescent, but he is upbeat. In a subdued way.
His legs are long and feet rather bony, and if you were to ever pay attention you mightnotice he has a sort of dancers style of movement and grace to him. It’s something he came by honestly, as at one point he was a dancer. Is clothing style is petty simple, and he prefers it that way. Jeans, tee shirts and flannels with light tennis shoes are his usual. Sometimes he might change it up with a sweater or a scarf, maybe even hat if you’re lucky.
The man is left handed, and it can be easy to tell at time. He doesn’t wear much jewelry, a cross necklace being pretty much it. He does have glasses, aged and of a bronze color. They are wire rimmed, and o a rather circular shape. He doesn’t need them, but they’re magicked to be useful for his second sight. It allows him to use his second sight much easier. Even though he is blind h moves quite confidantly in places he knows, and in place he doesn’t know he manages okay.

Personality: Milo is generally a very pleasant person to be around. He is quiet and reserved, but radiates a feeling of calm and general happiness. He’s quite polite, and you will almost never hear a negative word from him. His sense of control is very strong, and he has an even, well set frame of mind. Milo is a little of both spontaneity and structure, a wonderful mix that rally makes him quite fun. It's easy to get along with him as he's really quite an optimistic fellow.
Most of the time you will only see positive emotions when around him. All others are expressed in small ways instead of a regular outward display. This marks Milo as sort of introverted at times. He just doesn’t display anything but positive emotions if he can help it. Milo seems to be a constant lake that cannot be ruffled, his outward mien one of strength and peace, radiating softly from him wherever he goes.
Although he is quite capable of sarcasm. When you head it though, you question whether Milo is serious or joking with you, which is problematic at times. He serves out his scoldings, comments, and reprimands in the same light voice he would use to have a light conversation. He rarely yells because he feels it’s not that necessary and will only serve to make people more unhappy. They’ll respond better to positive encouragement anyway. Milo is happier around a small group of few people than large crowds, and you’re most likely to find him in the café, or somewhere where there aren’t huge numbers of people. The man is a very helpful sort and a good listener if you ever just need a pair of years to tell your story to.

Background: Milo grew up rather simply, easily, and worry free. His mother was a witch and father a sorcerer, so he is somewhere in between he two, at the higher end of the witch scale of power. His family had a goodly amount of money, so he grew up with just the right amount of comfort. From a young age Milo knew he was going to be blind, as he had inherited a degenerative eye disease from his father and grandfather. So he took as much advantage of things in life as he could, . His gifts showed early, and both his parents had a hand in teaching him the proper use of what he could do. They had a strict ethos of good, and passed it onto him. School was easy, as he liked it, but people were a problem. His social skills were poor, as he spent most of his time in study.
After high school he spent a years traveling the world, learning from witches and sorcerers all over. No one really well known, just the people he could find and learn from. He’s amassed great amount of knowledge, all of which he keeps in that wonderfully upeat mind of his. While traveling he really came out his his shell. Sort of. He talked mostly with academics, which counted for some social interaction. A few times he got to see his half sister Lily [a sorceress] and they worked on things. He studied as a dance student also, because it was something he fancied. It was only when his sight started going downhill that he rally got much more into dance, as he couldn’t study as much. It was a heart breaking thing, but it broke his academic shell and made him into a very kind person. He loved dancing, and h loved the people he danced with.
After twenty or so years of traveling, learning and dancing he settled in Miami, while he still retaind a little bit of his sight. He was happy there.He set up
Milo’s Café a simple little coffee and sandwhich place. It wasonly bout two years after that tht his sight went completely.
Milo’s has been in its established place for bout ten years now, and Milo knows almost all the people in the area, by name, or by sound/smell. And most of them know him, and know he is a witch as he’s never tried to hide or disguise it.

Skills: While his sight may be bad, the man has excellent hearing. Not as good as a supernaturals, but much better than the average human. He uses it to identify people, the way the walk, and move.
--Abilities: Alchemy: Witches have the ability to modify things that are within the world, changing their shape, form, and to a limited degree their chemical composition. This is usually done through potions – a mix of natural ingredients that can alter reality. They cannot turn lead into gold, but they can make a natural brunette become a permanent blonde.
Talisman Creation: Witches can also create talismans that impart special qualities upon the bearer i.e. increased strength. They can also be used create a minor glamour that makes those without True Sight see an altered reality. This is different than Faerie glamour; glamoured objects can still be interacted with i.e. a hidden tail can be stepped on or tripped over. If a glamoured object is interacted with long enough by the same individual, their sight will eventually overcome the glamour and the object will become visible.
Side effects: it's tiresome, and has made him go grey early.
True Sight: Milo has true Sight. As he can't actually see anymore, his body has sort of adapted this to other senses. The downfalls are still headaches, but also include stuffy noses at time and sensitivy to touch.
