Jack Darius Murphy
thin but toned.
A young man, almost ALWAYS in a suit. until recently jack assumed he was destined for Logistics, so he dresses accordingly. Business suits, all waking hours. He carries himself like a man though still a boy. He walks with his head up when he thinks about it, chest puffed to make himself seem bigger. Hiding the fact he is scared shitless. When he thinks no one is looking he hangs his head and watches his feet, he slouches, he occasionally drags his feet. He often reverts to this when distracted. Though more often when he is distracted from looking smart he looks intense. He moves with a swiftness belied by his normal tendencies. His eyes will flick over everything in a room, his hands will roam over things to feel the surfaces.
He is a bookish young man, taller than average but not by much. His brown hair is rarely done up as he can never do much with it. His eyes are sharp, the steel grey is intense and peircing. If you could see him, shirt off, he would make a killer model, but he doesn't believe it or really care. He maintains the body because he doesn't want to die. He has gone through life happy with his body and believes that tattoos or peircings or the like are a waste of time AND money. He has a tendency to chew on his lower lip when thinking.
----The Down low:
The Hound and Cross
Christian, god exists, jesus existed, they have little to do with here and now though and frankly god has done little for him so He'll be a good guy and hope heaven is where he ends up.
He is a kid trying so very hard to be a man. He wants to be Rupert so desperately. He is confused and concerned, but he can be headstrong and reckless in the face of danger. he doesn't yet understand the difference between bravery and stupidity. He often speaks without thinking, and sometimes he thinks when he should stop and talk. He is not prejudice, he thinks vampires are mostly creatures who are no longer men and acts accordingly. however being a child of this era he leaves a sliver of room to be proven be wrong, just so long as it doesn't threaten his life.
He takes orders well and fulfills them to the letter but has a tendency to ask a million questions while doing it. He is very intelligent but doesn't believe it. He knows he's smarter than most people but he feels like a dwarf in the shadow of men like the Cardinals, and men like Rupert. He doesn't yet understand the difference between intelligence and experience.
Jack Darius Murphy was born to Nathan and Evelynn Murphy on March 8th, 1994. His mother was a house wife, she home schooled her only son and took care of the home with skill and love. His father was a good man who helped him study history and math. It wasn't until he was 12 that he found out what his father did for a living. He was the head of logisitics for a group known as The Order. He found out when several men came to visit one night. Five of them left to a room to speak with his father, however one remained behind. A nice gentleman who introduced himself as Dr. Eckmen, a professor who worked with his father.
The Professor spoke with him for the next two hours, telling him a bit about what his father did. He explained everything in a methodical and calming way. he managed to tell this boy the truth of the world without scaring him. He asked if Jack would like to see here his father worked. he said he would and when the men came out he and his parents left for The Order.
He would later discover that a coven had discovered the location of his family and was planning to attack them. From that day on, cat out of bag, he was often brought to the Order's headquarters. he took up his studies there under The Professor who guided him through his highschool level education and so much more. He had his GCSE by 15 and was studying his father's work by 16, at 17 they admitted him to Basic Hound training.
He had always expected to become logistics, like his father before, he knew it well and could do any job within it. However he also should adept skills with shooting, tactical driving, hand to hand, and most of all, tracking. He thought they were fun exercises that had little to do with his future. The Cardinals felt otherwise. A few months after his 18th birthday he graduated and was given his extended training assignment.
He was to become a hound. He was to go to America and train, in field, under Rupert Crane and Anne Fry.
