(Forgive me if this is unbelievably corny... ^^;;)

So, let's spice it up a little! Turns out there is a vampire on the loose in Tokyo and has bitten Haruka! She hasn't told any of the other senshi, let alone Michiru, because initially, she doesn't think it will affect her, and then later on because she is too scared to reveal it... how does she cope with her blood lust? Will the vampire attack the other senshi?




~the one night Haruka decides to take a long walk outside into the city with Michiru is the one time everything seems to go all wrong...~

*holding her neck, an ebbing pulse of blood dies down - Haruka shakes violently as the realization that her attacker has fled, but not after seeming to cause serious damage to her*

Wha...what happened??? What the **** was that??

~she had been leaving a grocery store after buying some sushi for Michiru that when she turned into an alley that connected to the main road, she had sensed a terrific dark aura... reacting too slowly, a pierce at her neck and then a suction that had almost rendered her into an oblivion of passing out.. she henshined just in time, but that was when the enemy retreated - she had weakly fallen out of her henshin~

Some of my blood's been drained... that's why I'm so weak...

*Haruka heads towards home, still shaking, wondering what to tell Michiru...*

Ooooooh good idea, Alarm! I <3 Vampires! Can I be the Vampire that bit Haruka as well as be Michiru! I've been having an obsession with vampires in my stories lately.

*Michiru waited for Haruka at home, pacing about anxiously.* "She said she'd be home by 5...I wonder what's keeping her."

*Briella, the vampire, flew agitatedly over the city as a bat, disturbed at her recent prey's reaction. This one had been stronger than usual, much stronger. She had almost been able to throw Briella off, and Briella was exhausted because of it. Briella could barely remember the initial horror of being turned into a vampire, and did not pity those she attacked any longer. She needed food, and that was that. If she created more vampires because of it, so be it. Briella landed on the roof of an apartment building and changed to her human form, her dark red hair blowing in the wind. She sat down on the roof and watched the city, trying to regain her strength.*

*Makoto walked down the road humming a song that had been stuck in her head for weeks, she was expecting to meet Usagi at the grocery store*
"Jeez, she better hurry up!" *she said huffing*




-- do we have an Usagi?

Of course you can be the vampire! How cool! =D

And BJR, we dunno if there's an Usagi yet... :usagi: but go ahead and keep RPing! <3


*Haruka took off her light jacket and clean up the blood that was beginning to dry on her neck, and then started to weakly make her way home - it was odd because she had more than once felt herself drifting in and out of a state of consciousness, but the closer she moved home, she began to feel like she was brimming with a whole new... strength and power...

"Looks like I had nothing to be worried about at all!" *she laughed out loud, with a stricken crazed-ness - drawing attention to herself from passing strangers*

*she finally arrived home, flinging the door open, and grinning wildly*

"Michiru!! Where are youu? I've brought sushi"

*Makoto entered the grocery store in a huff*
"Today Usagi.. I have to beat my high score at the Sailor V game!" *she muttered while looking at chocolates*

"Haruka...what's wrong? You're...different." *Michiru said uneasily, noting the crazed grin on Haruka's face.* "Did something happen?" *Michiru was tempted to run.*

*Briella pondered her victim again...leafing through her memories. Quite attractive, if she did say so herself.*

Maybe Briella and Haruka can have some sort of relationship, thus making romantic conflict?

Oooh, awesome idea! xD Though I feel sorry for Michiru T_T But let's see how it turns out...


*Haruka, her senses so finely tuned now picked up Michiru's fear as if it were a heady scent in the air, and a pure, unadulterated thrill coursed through her - Michiru's wide eyes... the unsure stance... in one quick movement Haruka grasped Michiru's arms, holding her firmly in place*

"Good evening, pet..."

*she leaned forward and brushed her lips against Michiru's neck and a tremendous wave of desire washed through her, almost knocking her flat-out, as she could smell the deep, rich blood coursing through Michiru's artery; it was the familiar scent of her partner... of her life's love, but it had taken on a strangely irresistible pull*

"Michiru... when was the last time you were so beautiful?"

*Haruka was hoping to calm Michiru a bit; she could feel her tensing up beneath her hands - and she had to hold herself back from kissing Michiru's neck, which tantalized in a foreign way*

"What are you doing?" *Michiru backed abruptly away from Haruka, quite disturbed. She moved her hand to her back pocket, ready to henshin if necessary. She did not like where this was going. Haruka was never this deranged, this eager - for her blood, it seemed.* "What's wrong, Haruka? Just tell me, please..." *As much as she was tempted to lose herself in her lover's familiar embrace, something put her on edge tonight, and she felt extremely wound-up.*

*Briella saw this from the window, and felt a surge of jealously unlike she had felt before.*

*as soon as Michiru had ripped herself out of Haruka's grasp, a terrible urge had coursed its way through Haruka's blood stream - to attack her... Haruka took a menacing step towards Michiru, her lip curling sarcastically as she calculated how to trap the prey in front of her*

"What's wrong with me?!" *Haruka laughed bitterly* "Nothing. Just... you won't stay still."

*All of her weight bore down on her left foot as she prepared to launch forward, an intense ringing pervaded her mind... Michiru's neck seemed to glow unnaturally as all of Haruka's attention was at her throat*

STOP!!! STOP!!! DON'T HURT HER!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING???!

"ugh...."

*Haruka dropped to the ground on one knee; another voice tore through her head*

"I have to... I have to go..."

*Haruka stole one hurried glance at Michiru, her eyes blazing with shame, then she turned and ran from the house and down the dark street*

"H-Haruka!" *Michiru choked out, adrenaline racing.* "What- where are you-?" *She stared at the slammed door, mute with shock.*

*Briella swooped down in front of Haruka, smiling devilishly.* "Having trouble coping, love? It's hard the first few days. I can help you."

"You!!!"

*Haruka sputtered with rage*

"What the **** did you do to me?? You're the one who attacked me earlier! Tell me what you did??!"

*Haruka felt a wave of dizziness hit her - she had been spending too much energy, and hadn't had enough blood to sustain her - she slumped to the ground, panting*

*Something was wrong with Haruka, and she wasn't going to just let that go. Michiru quickly henshined, and silently followed Haruka's path out the door.*

"Moi? How do you know I was the one that infected you...?" *Briella said lazily, licking her lips clean of the blood of her most recent prey.* "I've only just had dinner. Beautiful, you'll see soon that it's better being one of us. You're more powerful, stronger. I'll be your friend if you want me to be..."

"Ugh..."

*a horrific nausea swept over Haruka, almost draining all of her energy... hungering for blood was.... [/i]painful[/i] and was taking its toll on her*

"Fine... please help me... I feel like I'm dying..." *Haruka groaned*

After I get better, then I'll try to get information out of her to undo this change to me... I can't return to Michiru yet... I'm afraid of hurting her

*Haruka reached a hand towards Briella, waiting*

*Briella sighed, exasperated.* "You need to learn to find food. I hope to the gods you're not one of those dumb blonde types...Here." *She pulled a vial of blood out of her pocket and handed it to Haruka.* "I always save something for young ones like you."

*Haruka took the vial and popped it open - a few droplets of blood splattered on her fingertips, and smelled divine - the thought of drinking blood disgusted one part of her, and then another part felt ecstatic at the proposition*

"How vile." *she whispered, and then downed the vial in one gulp - immediately a vibrant buzz coursed through her body, and a monstrous strength made itself present within her*

"....Thank you...."

*Haruka stood up and brushed herself off*

"Well then. Can you please... explain all of this to me?"

"Explain? Whatever can you mean? You're one of us now, and that is that. I chose you for my evening meal, and now you are just like me. A slave to blood. Sorry about that..." *Briella shrugged and smiled cutely.* "I don't know if there's a cure. If there was, I would have used it long ago. But now we can be friends! You're one of us." *She knew her beauty was entrancing, and flaunted it. Her dark red curls fell softly down her back in a similar look to Michiru's, and she smiled at Haruka.*

*Try as she might, Michiru couldn't seem to trace Haruka. Frustrated, she ran across rooftops, still searching.*

*Haruka considered this young vampires words... it was true, the power she felt was intoxicating but... a new world... without Michiru? A small thought passed through her mind...*

What if I simply turn Michiru into one of us as well...?

*But as soon as the thought appeared, she stamped it out with disgust, knowing it would not be possible - Haruka would have to find another way to reverse it.... Briella might be lying anyway*

"Alright then. How about you show me the ropes? Maybe spending time with a beautiful girl like yourself won't be so bad?"

*Haruka smiled, working her charms as well*

Oh, yes..... *Briella thought, secretly pleased.* "There aren't really any rules or ropes to this...all you have to do is make sure your own self stays alive. Of course, it's verrrrrry lonely. You won't be able to function with humans at all. You'll lust for their blood too much. It's better you stay with vampires like me..." *Briella purred.* Instead of that stupid Michiru girl. "Other than that, it's not too much different than normal."

[color=#33CCCC]*Michiru leapt over another rooftop, growing increasingly frantic. Something was wrong. Very wrong. She sensed Haruka's presence growing nearer, and drew toward it.*

Ohm y, I love this idea...Is Rei already taken or may I be her once again?

Nope, Rei's not taken. Go ahead. :)

*Rei had been seeing weird dreams for a while already and had been tracing down the unfamiliar aura's whole day. Now she was frustrated and decided to try to contact the outers. When Haruka didn't answer to her calls, she decided to try to call to Michiru*
'Please pick up, this is urgent'
*Rei thought*

*Haruka sighed, at a loss of what to do... suddenly the presence of Michiru, so familiar and warm, was close... Haruka was immediately tempted to fly towards her, into her arms, but she stopped herself in time - right now, she couldn't be around her, she was too scared of harming Michiru*

"Quick! We have to leave!"

*Haruka grabbed Briella's hand and took off running; she felt the new energy pulse through her, and wondered to what extent her powers could go....*

*Michiru felt her cell phone vibrate, and picked it up.* "What?!" *She said angrily, not caring who it was.* "I'm busy!"

"What are you doing?!" *Briella objected, thoroughly confused by this strange woman. Briella pondered the fact that Haruka might be crazy.*

As long as I keep my distance from Michiru... I won't be able to harm her...

"Just show me where you stay, okay???!"

*Haruka shouted a bit roughly, testing the limits of her speed by running faster and faster through his newly aquired power...*

"Michiru, it's Rei! Thank god you picked up!"
*Rei said*
"I have an urgent matter to talk about, it's about few new aura's. I tried to call Haruka but she didn't pick up. Can I meet you somewhere?"

"We don't stay anywhere. We live on the streets, silly. Didn't you know that? You can't stay with normal humans anymore, unless you're planning on converting them. Any friends or lovers you may have had...gone. Poof. Just like that. You're with us now, not anyone else." *Briella said charmingly, knowing all the while that Haruka was unable to resist her beauty.*

"Haruka's gone, I'm looking for her, and I'm BUSY!" *Michiru slammed the phone off, knowing she'd probably regret that later. Still, she changed her direction toward Rei's temple.*

*Michiru's words hit Rei hard*
'Haruka is gone?!'
*Rei thought*
'There is no way on earth that one of the aura's, which was very much like Haruka's aura, but had something different in it, could actually be Haruka's. Or could it?'
*Rei was confused. She surely hoped that she would be wrong on this matter, otherwise it might mean that Haruka is in trouble or something has happened to her*

*Haruka half-heartedly listened to Briella as she noticed Michiru's aura receded... she was safe for now, she stopped, and noticed she was still holding Briella's hand... which was cool and smooth like marble*

"I see. Feh!"

*Haruka spun around, meaning to give Briella an earful of curses - asking why she had condemned Haruka to live like this... but her resolve quickly tapered when she faced her and just slightly, ever so slightly... she saw a bit of Michiru in Briella - the way her hair fell over her shoulders, her smile - Haruka was taken aback, and was silent*

*Michiru ran toward the temple, knowing that Rei woudl be able to help her somehow. She burst in the door, and saw Rei.* "Rei...!"

"What's wrong, love? Bat got your tongue?" *Briella chuckled at her own corny vampire joke.* "Or are you scared? You'll have to feed yourself, you know. I can't keep giving you things. Blood isn't free..."

*Haruka bit her tongue nervously - she knew it would take time to be able to become human again... once she figured out how to do so... she might as well get acquainted to this current lifestyle... right?*

"Can you show me how to .... hunt?"

*Haruka gulped, half-disgusted with herself, and half-enticed*

"Michiru!"
*Rei said*
"Sit down, there is something important I need to tell you, and I'm afraid that this might have something to do about Haruka being missing"
*Rei looked at Michiru and sat down*
"You see, recently, I have felt new unfamiliar aura's with great magical powers. I don't know what they are, but definitely not youma's"
*She paused for a second*
"And for a while, I haven't been able to sense Haruka's aura at all, instead something very similar, yet different. Something that is very close to Haruka's aura, but still has part of those weird auras. I didn't realize this connection before you said Haruka is missing"

I can so see Helena Bonham Carter playing Briella in a movie...lol. <3
"Just pinpoint a random human, and close in. walk up behind them like you normally would, and...." *Briella swooped away from Haruka and sank her fangs into the neck of the nearest passerby. The man shrieked and collapsed where he stood, soaked with his own blood. Briella licked her lips, satisfied.* "Delicious...though he could have used a touch of salt.*

"She's just...different somehow. More agressive, as if she wanted my blood. Frightening. And now I can't find her." *Michiru siad quietly, holding tears back.*

*Rei tried to comfort Michiru*
"So she has changed, eh?"
*Rei got a bad feeling about this*
"No way...."
*She whispered after a while*
"There's no way, those nightmares are related to Haruka...listen Michiru, when did this start? I have been having nightmares about someone getting bitten for about a month now..."

Haha, Ellie - you're right! I can picture Helena playing Briella as well!! xD

*Haruka flinched at the horrific violence in front of her... afterall, it had been her and Michiru's mission for so long to protect people... but~ the sight of the rich, dark blood made Haruka's mouth water and before she knew it, she was kneeling down to lap up the remains of the man's blood - she closed her eyes in shame*

"See now, love...that wasn't so bad, was it?" *Briella said softly, smiling.* "You'll get used to it...in time."

"You don't mean..." *Michiru trailed off, horrified.* "It couldn't happen...not to her!"

"You know what I mean"
*Rei said. She sounded worried*
"If it's a vampire, for example, they could have caught Haruka off guard while she was sleeping or something...I don't know..but, since our powers exist, youmas exist and so on, I don't see why vampires couldn't exist in our world"

"I don't know how they could have gotten to her...she's so powerful. How could she fall prey to them?!" *Michiru said, alarmed and confused.*

"Yes, but if she wasn't transformed, then it isn't hard for a vampire to get to her. Since vampires have ability to go very fast and they are strong too..."
*Rei looked at the floor*

"I'll kill whoever did this to her if they refuse to fix it. I don't know if she can be cured...but whoever did this is going to die..."*Michiru was overcome by a sudden rage.*

"We have to think about how to cure her later. I'm sure that there is some way, but at the moment we have a bigger problem"
*Rei tried to calm Michiru down*
"We need to make sure no one else gets bitten and get rid of those vampires"
