This clan is a democracy. Anything can be changed with a majority vote.

Our rules are simple.

1. Democracy.
2. No minimum membership requirements
2. Basic Good Manners

The Only one of these that can not be altered is #1.
Altering 2-3 will require a 70% majority of all members.

Before you post a poll trying to change a Clan Rule or Founding Principle YOU MUST HAVE...
>1. Read and understood the Clan Founding Principles. Feel free to ask questions.
>2. Taken a look around to see if it has already been discussed. An example would be Clan Bank. You may think it's a good idea, but it has recently been discussed and decided on.
>3. Understand and Follow the following Procedure. Or have your post deleted.

The Procedure to Change.

1. Open a new topic.(not a poll).
2. State in your topic that you intend this to become a poll on the issue
3. Present the issue you want addressed.
4. Present what you think should be done.
5. Present a detailed and coherent argument why.
(having followed these steps your request will be moved to Important Stuff)
6. Participate in the discussion and defend your point of view.
7. The Council of Elders will take the discussion into their chambers for decision.
8. The Council of Elders will do one of two things.
.....A. Make a decision and present it.
.....B. Present a poll for full clan decision.

Censorship is not a part of this clan. You are free to express your opinions on any subject. You may create a Poll on any subject, other than a Clan Rule or Founding Principle. If you find our Rules and Founding Principles are disagreable you should find another clan.

Basic Good Manners
and other guidelines.

These are not "Rules" rather things we have all agreed upon as being necessary standards.

1. Avoid double posting - use the edit feature
2. Stay on Topic or create a new thread.
3. Profanity is allowed however keep it to a minimum.
4. Direct Insults and attacks on other members, not in jest, will land you in jail.
5. No one likes spam.
6. Be on your Best Behavior in our Public Forums.
6. Be on your Best Behavior when representing TRL to the Public.
7. It is very rude to recruit for other clans within this clan, or recruit for our clan in other clans.

Some other things you should know.

If you don't post within 20 days you will get automatically deleted.
--This is to keep our member list current. You can always re-apply.
We don't care how many clans you are in.
We don't care if you quit playing RS - once a friend always a friend.
We have no stupid rules. If it's not a rule we probably don't care about it.

Reasons I will throw you in jail without discussion..

1. Begging
2. Direct insults or attacks on other members that are not in jest
3. Begging - cause you got scammed
4. Flaming - anyone who participates, I don't care who started it.
5. Begging cause you say you got hacked.
6. Unnecesary or prolific profanity
7. Questionable behavior in Public
8. Repeated Violation of "Basic Good Manners"

I consider all of these to be a heinous violation of ... "Basic Good Manners"

All that is required to be freed from jail is a repentant apology
