Just a quick foreword;

It doesn't take much time to uncheck the "Enable signature" posting option when posting in actual roleplays. Signatures take away from the IC roleplay, especially if they don't adhere to the following restrictions. If I find that you haven't done this I'll probably edit your post (I've edited all of Italics' ), and PM you to remind you, but really, just do it yourself. Please?
In non-RP boards, and in sister threads, and anything OOC it's totally fine! That's why we bother making signatures, right? We can't ban them completely.

New Signature Restrictions:

The maximum dimensions are 500x200. I find this doable, if not extremely generous.


I will be going through members' profiles and e-mailing ones with large signatures. If they post with their large signature it will be removed from the post, the user will be PM'd and asked to remove/reduce it, and if the member continues to post with their large signature, will be officially warned, which decreases your reputation on the forum and may result in a ban if your warning level gets too low.


Your signature may not:
* Break the above dimension limits (for images)
* Be larger than 11pts (for text)
* Advertise/Leech/Link Spam. This includes but is not limited to

• Advertising or recruiting for other sites. Profiles on friend or community sites are fine. Keep forums and any join-to-contribute/see links in the advertisement board or in a thread where it is relative to the topic at hand.
• Links to websites offering "free" products (iPods etc.)
• "Game" site links that require people to click your personal link in order to strengthen your character.
• Sites offering illegal and/or inappropriate material such as pornography, hacks, cracks, keygens, warez, emulators and roms, etc.

Advertising outside your profile or the specified board may result in suspension of your account.
