I have downloaded the QoM file, but have no idea what I need to open. the file in the QoM folder called "Quest of Magic" is just a empty TextEdit file. dry.gif
Hope this is enough info.

That's very odd. The alias sometimes breaks when sent over the internet, but it's never before turned into a text file. unsure.gif

The Troubleshooting section of the Readme contains information on how to get over this problem. Basically you need to locate the source file which is in the Resources folder. (it's named Quest of Magic)

There are two files called "Quest of Magic", one is a un-openable preview doc, the other is an empty TextEdit file, the Preview one is in the "Resources" folder, the TextEdit one is in the QoM folder

Wow, that's very unusual Kasofa, I've never experienced that before. The file in the Resouces folder should be an application, and the file in the Quest of Magic folder should be an alias linking to it. The only thing I can suggest is to download the file again, and make sure you run it on OSX of course.

Let me know if it still won't work.

I downloaded it for the third time, And it still doesn't work. I'm on a mac OS 10.4.11, with dual 450mz processor. 384 mb of SDRAM memory. Hope this helps.
I've also tried some of the other game/app/things and they don't work either. they are all the same, an unopenable preview file.

Extremely confusedly,
-K

Ah, thanks for the computer information, that helps. smile.gif

Hmmm... how are you going about decompressing the file? What application are you using?

Sometimes Stuffit experiences decompression problems when you try to expand a file by double clicking it. Try expanding the file directly from Stuffit by going to File: Expand. That might do it.

I've updated the download link. If it doesn't work this time I'm out of ideas. wacko.gif
