Chris/Jill/Barry

The helicoptor is flying through the dark night, only the light beaming down from the moon lighting up the trees of the forest below. The atmosphere was grim, to say the least. S.T.A.R.S. Bravo team had gone missing during an investigation in the Arklay Mountains, situated northwest of Raccoon City, a small midwestern town.

Occupying the helicoptor was the S.T.A.R.S. Alpha team, who were responsible for tracking down Bravo team and completing their mission. A series of bizzare murder cases had erupted in the area and Bravo team had been sent to check for any clues indicating what had caused these savage attacks. Victims had apparently been... Eaten.

Chris Redfield. Alpha Team's Marksman and co-pilot. With a history of outstanding firearms handling and a background in the United States Air Force, Chris Redfield was talented combatant, able to adapt to the pressure of extreme circumstances. Uncompromising and with an unwavering dedication to his duty of upholding justice, he has clashed with superiors before when doubting their judgement.

Jill Valentine. Alpha Team's Bombs and Explosives Specialist, as well as the officer in charge of rear security. Having been a part of the U.S. Army's Delta Force training program, Jill possesses well-developed fighting skills. A cheerful yet determined woman, her quick-thinking has kept her and her comrades alive on numerous occasions.

Barry Burton. Alpha Team's backup man, as well as both their weapons supplier and officer in charge of weapons maintenance. Formerly an airman in the U.S. Air Force, seving alongside Chris, he is something of a gun enthusiast. A loyal companion to his teammates, as well as both a devoted husband and father at home, Barry has proven his dependability time after time.

Also on board was Joseph Frost, Alpha Team's vehicular specialist in charge of maintenance. Formerly an EX navy Seal and Gulf War veteran, Joseph had initially been placed in Bravo team. However, just a few days prior to this incident, he'd been promoted to the lead Alpha team by Alpha team's captain, Albert Wesker. He is dedicated and enthusiastic, always happy to provide a helping hand to his comrades.

Piloting the helicoptor was Alpha Team's pilot, Brad Vickers. Though he has experience in the U.S. Air Force, it hasn't served to strengthen his will. He is often nervous and cowardly, having developed a fear of death and danger over the years.

Finally, there was Albert Wesker, the captain of Alpha team and as a result the leader of the entire S.T.A.R.S. unit. Calm and collected, though often at times cold, he has shown respectable talent as both a combatant and tactical thinker. Possessing a strange cunning, he has earned the respect of his underlings, especially Chris Redfield who views him as something of a mentor.

The helicoptor continues to fly through the skies, keeping high above the treeline of the woods above. Since they had departed from the R.P.D. Station, the team had been quiet. The silence was soon broken.

Joseph sneezes, rubbing at his nose with the back of his gloved hand. He offers the others around him an embarassed glance. More so especially to Wesker, who is sat beside him behind Brad. Chris, Jill and Barry sit opposite them at the back of the helicoptor, Chris in the middle of the three.

Rebecca

Rebecca Chambers. Bravo team's medic and officer in charge of rear security. A rookie with no military or combat experience, it was her expertise in chemistry and medicine at university which secured her position in the S.T.A.R.S. Unit. Being the youngest and most inexperienced of the entire unit, Rebecca can be nervous around her teammates, though is eager to take any opportunity she can to fulfill the tasks set for her to prove her worth.

The past day was something of a haze, a blurry memory of a nightmare. As a part of Bravo team, she had been assigned the task of investigating the Arklay Mountains to get to the bottom of the cannibalistic homicides occuring on the outskirts of Raccoon City. While their helicoptor had been going over the forest, there was a malfunction with the engine, and they'd been forced to crash land.

The details from there were hazy. Rebecca couldn't remember how she'd gotten to this mansion, or if any of her teammates were alive. Could she rely on rescue? How would Alpha team find where she was? More importantly... What was the cause of the bizarre monsters that plagued this place?

She had fallen asleep. The memories came flooding back to her as she awoke in a small room. Laying upon a bed, there seemed to be something about this place. This one room was a heavenly dream trapped amidst an inescapable nightmare. Her vision was still blurred from her rest, and it was difficult to make out her surroundings at that moment in time. But the brightness of the white painted walls around her... They offered her comfort.

When Joseph glanced around, embarassed by his sneeze, Jill just smiled at him. He was a good man and an even better combatant. As a Gulf War veteran, he garnered a lot of respect from Jill, who recognised that he came out of the war not cold or distant, but quite the opposite; friendly and constantly willing to help. She was more than happy to be under his leadership for this mission and felt comfortable with her life in his hands.

Pulling a pack of tissues from her vest, she pulled one from the pack before replacing it and handing the single to Joseph.

"Here." she offered with a smile, then returning to slouch back in her seat once it had been accepted.

She looked out the helicopter window and to the ground below, to see if there was anything she could see among the thick forest perhaps some evidence of what happened to Bravo or the source of the reports they were sent to investigate...

Chris sat idly between Barry and Jill. He had been caught off guard with the news of Bravo Team going missing during their investigation. Nevertheless, he knew the operation was in very capable hands.

Noticing Jill scanning the area below from the window she couldn't help but ask,

"seen anything?"

Rebecca gasped awake, was it all a dream, a hellish nightmare from which there was no awakening? A soft sigh could be heard, she closed her eyes for a moment; opening them after coming to the realization that the room she now occupied was completely unknown to her. "No," she thought to herself, mind deep in thought. "It is real, the monsters...the mansion...how did I get here? Where am I?"

As those thoughts flooded her mind she remembered that she, as a member of Bravo Team, still had a job to do. Slowly she got to her feet, looking around the room to familarize herself with it.

Barry stays silent, more interested by his trusty Colt Python than Joseph sneezing, no matter how many times he'd played with the chamber it still kept him busy. He carries on spinning the chamber, checking that he has bullets loaded, which of course he does.

Chris/Jill/Barry

Joseph takes the tissue offered to him by Jill, nodding his head to her in thanks. He wipes at his nose with the tissue, before stuffing it away in one of the pockets in his vest jacket.

Peering out of the window of the helicoptor, Chris and Jill can make out small thin wisps of smoke trailing through the sky in the distance ahead. With nothing but trees for miles around, it seemed strange that smoke would simply appear out of nowhere.

Wesker nudges Barry's left leg with the tip of his boot, offering the experienced veteran a half-hearted smile. With Wesker wearing his sunglasses as usual, it was hard to determine whether there was any genuine emotion being shown by the gesture. He clears his throat afterwards, before addressing the team.

"You all know why we're here. Bravo Team went missing in these woods yesterday during their investigation. We lost contact with them, so it's safe to say we should be prepared for the worst. They're our comrades, but that's no excuse to get reckless in this search. You've all seen the reports about these murders. Be vigiliant at all times."

Rebecca

Pushing herself up and out of the bed, Rebecca can see that she appears to be in some sort of pharmacy. A wooden shelf unit over by the wall to the left holds a few empty jars, as well as a few tubes of tablets and various medicinal pills.

Over to the right, by the end of the bed, is what appears to be a bulky chest for storing whatever it may store.

A door can be seen in the far right corner from where Rebecca is stood. She hadn't a clue where it led out to, however.

Chris quickly double checked what he saw, the smoke suggested a fire of somekind, which was pretty unusual.

"Captain... in the treeline- you might want to get a look at this" He points towards the woods ahead, cocking his head slightly

Barry offers a smile and nod back to wesker, he seemed like the kind of guy who would lead the team well. Even with All of Barry's experience, he preferred just getting the job done, and he had gotten the job done so many times before that he knew this would go swimmingly. Barry shakes the catridge if his gun back into place as Chris points out the smoke coming from the tree's.

He peers as much as he can from behind the group to see what the fuss is about.

Man, hope I have a better voice actor this time, he thinks to himself.

Rebecca, having always been a chemistry student, one of the green herbs and the one red herb she had and mixed them together at the table nearby, using a sheet of paper for the combined herbs to rest in. She then checked the chest, peering keenly into it. She was going to do all she could in this room before having to investigate the outside.

"Smoke. There!" Jill pointed it out to Chris, which he then announced to Wesker, after he'd finished his briefing.

She contemplated for a moment on Wesker's briefing, the situation didn't look good for Bravo Team, but she'd grown quite close to a few of them and really hoped they were safe - wherever they were.

"I hope all of Bravo Team are ok, what do you guys think of the situation? What are their chances... really?" She asked to no-one in particular but due to the fact she was looking at Barry and Wesker intermittently as she asked it, it was safe to assume it was directed at the two most experienced of the group...

(Sorry I've not posted here, I just flat out forgot. Wont happen again :) )
