The man with the handgun regains his composure and fires off a shot, though it goes goes wild and catches Kirk in the back. (Kirk -8). Kirk is caught off guard by this development, naturally, and fails to do anything in the meantime.

Butch gets off two smacks of his pipe on the Regis Licker, backed up by Jurgen who rushes over and launches an attack of his own. (Regis Licker -6, -5, -3). The Regis Licker shrieks loudly, rapidly flailing its tongue around and whipping Butch, Jurgen and Kirk away. (Jurgen -5, -5) (Butch -4, -5) (Kirk -6, -6).

The fire alarm comes to a stop as the two Lickers wriggle up back onto their feet.

Butch shakes off the attack, hearing Kirk squeal from being shot in the back "Kirk stay behind us! Don't risk anything" Butch leads the charge once more (limping of course) at the regis licker and attempting to go pipe happy once again.

Kirk turns about, clutching the fresh wound on his back, as he moves off to give himself some space from the fray. The man with the handgun hesitates as a result of what he has done and seems to refuse to fire anymore.

Jurgen distracts his nemesis, striding over and smacking at with his pipe. (Licker #1 -5, -5, -4). This angers the creature, causing it to stab him through his left thigh with its tongue. (Jurgen -6).

Meanwhile, Butch moves to attack the Regis Licker again though gives the other Licker no regard, something he ends up paying for. He gets one strike on the Regis Licker before the second Licker strikes at his legs with its claw, knocking him down once again. (Regis Licker -4) (Butch -4).

Jurgen swipes at Licker #1 twice more hoping to finish off what was probably the greatest rivalry in the history of rivalries. After this Jurgen turned and swiped the third time at Licker #2

Butch gets his revenge on the Licker by smacking at it with his pipe, before throwing a third strike at the Regis Licker. (Licker #2 -4, -6) (Regis Licker -4). Jurgen lays a brutal beatdown on his rival, taking its life before turning about to assist Butch. (Licker #1, Killed) (Licker #2 -3).

Kirk moves over to the stranger, who is still frozen in shock and confusion, slapping him across the face and taking the handgun from his hands. Turning about, he fires a couple of shots at the Regis Licker. (Regis Licker -5, -4).

The beast shrieks and seems to go berserk, wildly lashing its tongue around, whipping both Jurgen and Butch who are nearby several times and knocking them down in the process. (Jurgen -3, -4, -3, -3) (Butch -4, -4, -2, -3).

Butch gets ready for his finishing move on the regis, the MIGHTY MISSILE! Butch kips up back to his feet and primes the pipe on his head, creating some kind of handel bar helmet, and launches himself at the regis licker in the form of a missile.

Jurgen scrabmles to his feet and turns to face Licker #2. "JURGEMANIA EES RUNNIN' WILD!" He cries, Smashing the pipe down at the beast twice!

Butch launches himself at the monster... And is met with a barrage of tongue lashings, knocking him aside midair and sending him back down to the floor in disappointment. (Butch -3, -4, -3).

Jurgen at least manages to save some face, striking at the remaining Licker with his pipe twice. (Licker #2 -4, -4). The creature hisses before leaping back to create some distance between itself and Jurgen.

Kirk steadies his aim before firing off a shot at the Regis Licker, which seems to finally kill it. (Regis Licker, Killed). The beast drops from the ceiling and hits the floor, twitching violently around as its life fades away. The creature's tongue dangles out of its mouth and despite the creature being dead, the tip of the tongue seems to curl in and then back out every few moments.

Kirk shoves the unnamed civilian forwards and gestures to the now safe to progress through corridor.

"We need to go!"

Butch was totally convinced he had just performed the greatest feet on earth. "DID YOU SEE THAT! HAHA!" Proudly he gets back up to his feet, approaches the licker and starts throwing crazy pipe hits laughing to himself.

The three leave the inn and in the process escape the raging inferno that was consuming it. Stepping out through the front door, the three find themselves out on the street out front. Though there are no signs of the unnamed man they had also saved, there was quite a ruckus here indeed.

A large fire truck sits outside and numerous members of the Raccoon Police Department and Raccoon Fire Department appear to be attempting to keep the situation under control...

Jurgen and Butch have left the Front Lobby towards the Raccoon Streets - Uptown
