Located on the second floor, the Staff Room is where the staff take a break from the busy work down in the bar. The hallway at the top of the stairs connects with the Break Room nearby, but also connects to the main area of the Staff Room via a doorway.

The main chunk of the staff room lies down a short corridor, and contains a water tank and a coffee table with two couches by it. The coffee table is covered in scattered newspapers, most of which have a coaster shaped coffee stain on them.

A desk with a computer sat upon it sits by the wall opposite the coffee table. The Staff Room is connected with the Owner's Room, the Locker Room, the Drawing Room and also the stairway up to the third floor Liquor Room.

Xia and the group make their way into the Staff Room, she lets out a relaxed sigh as she believes she's now in a place of safety but only for a few short moments.

"We should wait for the other two to catch up..."

[10 AP - Entering]

Will nods, remaining by the top of the stairs. Mark continues shouldering Bob along, heading into the Staff Room itself, with Yoko and George following. Alyssa heads through the door to the nearby Break Room, while David and Cindy also remain with Will and Xia for the time being.

"The old security guy isn't looking good, anyone happening to have any herbs on them or any laying around the staff room?" she was referring to Bob's conditions, she looks over at Will, Cindy and David as they await for the Cop and Ari to reach them.

Ari bursts through the door, and before giving anyone a chance to say anything exclaims "Policeman - stairs - grabby arms - help" The surgining adrenaline had left him short of breath and dizzy.

Enter Area 10AP

"Yes, I've got some. But will it help? I know applying them to wounds helps with the recovery, but I don't think they'd help with the flu or whatever it is he has."

Cindy replied to Xia after Ari made his opening speech. Will is taken aback by Ari's words and heads for the staff room itself. David raises his iron pipe and goes down to assist Kevin.

"I believe if I mix the herbs with some water and he consumes them, it should at least give him a boost to get out of this place but at current ... it seems he's going to slow us down and I'm sure as hell not leaving him" She smiles momentarily as she's Ari is safe but then the smile fades away as the cop seems to be downstairs.

"Take sometime to rest in the staff room, we gotta find a way outta here." She says to Ari, her tone of voice showed she was nervous and afraid but she tried to keep a brave face. "If you could lend me those herbs, I'd be in your debt Cindy" If Cindy hands over the herbs she'd take them and head into the actual staff room where the water would be, she'd take a paper cup and pour some water into then approaches Bob.

"Before I uh.. give this to you, do you have any physical wounds?" she asks Bob but it was slightly directed at Mark.

Using the moment of peace to his advantage, Ari licks the back of the lighter and attaches it too the bottle of pesticide (ooc: cos who carries duct tape round, seriously? Dead Rising 2 is a joke) making a hand-held dangerous flame sprayer.


Crafting 10AP

Cindy hands over one of her green herbs to Xia, as Ari crafts a masterpiece in engineering.

Heading on through to the Staff Room with the herb, Xia finds that Mark has sat Bob down on the couch at the back. Bob merely shakes his head at Xia's question, while Mark seems ignorant of it.

Xia lets out a quiet exhale and begins to break up the herb into the paper cup filled with water, hoping her idea would help the man in the slightest. She offers the cup to Bob "Alright, you need to drink this, hopefully you'll feel better or at least give you a boost" she offers him an encouraging smile despite her own doubts at the possibility of it's success.

[Using Basic First Aid skill with herb to treat Bob's status]

Ari streches, his body relaxing from his hyperactive state. He sits down on one of the nearby couches, waiting for the rest of the group to decide what they were going to do.

Bob drinks the herb-infused water and appears to get a little better as a result. Elsewhere, David and Kevin emerge from the top of the stairway with Kevin looking a little worse for wear. The two head for the main area of the Staff Room with Cindy following them.

Kevin looks around, catching his breath.

"We need to slow them down to buy us enough time. Is everybody here?"

Xia searches the area she is in for anything of use, perking her head up once to reply to Kevin "I'm here and pretty sure everyone else is as well" she continues her search, satisfied with Bob's slightly better condition. She hopes to find more herbs or something to defend with which isn't a knife, she wasn't fond of getting up close and personal especially when she dreaded violence altogether but alas she searched away.

Still sitting on the couch, Ari looked towards Kevin "How do you suggest we slow them down?". This guy had a gun and seemed to be a natural leader - so Ari was more than happy enough to let him take charge.

Looking around, Xia finds a couple of things, though nothing to defend herself with and one of the thing seems rather useless to her at the moment, though she could take it for herself if she wished.

Kevin peered around the room, pointing out the nailgun on the nearby desk and then towards the planks of wood bundled together by the doorway to the hallway.

"Take that and nail those across the doorway. Should keep them at bay for a bit."

"Gladly" Ari jumped to his feet, happy to have a task too keep his mind off the large group of wandering zombies below.


Construct Barricade - ALL the AP

"I've got a key with a blue tag and oh... some shotgun shells, does the owner have a shotgun laying around here somewhere" Her question was mainly directed at Cindy and Will who were both more familiar with the building than Xia. She keeps both items, hoping that they'll be use of in the immediate future.

Cindy shrugs, though Will scratches his chin in thought.

"I think he was getting some bother from the kids in the apartment building next door. Said he was getting a gun to scare them off, but I don't think he intended on using it. Still, I don't know where he kept it. I guess his room there would be the best bet."

Will said, pointing out the door to the Owner's Room nearby.

"And I think that key's for the door to the stairs leading up to the next floor."

Meanwhile, Ari finished boarding up most of the doorway to keep the Zombies out. However, a few moments after he was done, a problem arose.

When Kevin had asked if everybody was here, the group had apparently forgotten about Alyssa, who emerged from the door to the Break Room and now found herself trapped on the other side of the doorway.

Xia tosses the keys to Will "Here ya go, I'll go check out his room." She glanced over at the barred door, she mouthed an 'uh oh' at Kevin "I thought she was in here with us ... we'll have to take down the barricade" she frowns but heads over into the Owner's room.

"Oh shit! Where did you come from? I thought everyone was here already" Ari scanned the room looking for something to help him tear the barricade down. "C'mon guys! Help me break this down!"
