Devil's Forest
Clustered inbetween the towering redwoods lies a disturbed piece of Rerum Natura, one that both excites and frightens: the Devil's Forest. Once used as the old battle grounds, the spirits of the dead are rumored to still roam this accursed place, their tortured screams lost in the dead of night. Darks relish this place; Lights avoid it at all costs. In the Devil's Forest, only one thing is sure: You'll never have the same experience twice.

Desert Oasis
Just when the heat is overbearing and the sand nearly scorches one's hooves, a blaze of greens and blues sticks out from among rolling dunes of yellow sand: the Desert Oasis, a welcome retreat for any travel-weary being. Fresh, clear water known for its healing properties bubbles up in one large pond, greenery in the form of ferns, palm trees, and tropical flowers bountiful amongst stony boulders. Behind the shimmering waterfall lies a space just big enough to hold two equines.

Rushing Rapids
If one can even bear the painstaking climb up sharp rock and steep inclines, they will soon find themselves upon a river so fast it swallows anything in it whole. The whitewater rapids swirl and spin in continuous riptides, whirlpools and God knows what else, spray coating the nearest standing places to make them slippery. One must exercise caution when here: one stumble could send you tumbling into the river below, never to be seen from again.

Wildflower Meadow
Where sun shines and life runs rampant sits a lovely clearing, dotted with an impossible array of colors. Here the flowers brush right up to where the legs meet the shoulder, growing even taller at times. Trees placed in various spots hold a bit of shade and mineral-rich vegetation to pluck at, as well as a calmer length of stream to drink from. If one were to desire a calm and restful place, this very spot would fit quite well.
