Ashbringer knew Fallenstar had spotted him, so it was no use staying hidden. He warily approached his leader.
"Are we the only survivors?" he mewed.
"Quite possibly. The plague apparently took more than we could save. Perhaps the prey was affected, though I think they have more sense than to wander among the dead and defiled," answered the leader.
"Right," Ashbringer nodded. "We better move on, or bury everyone." Ashbringer looked questionably at his leader, "Your call, I suppose."
"Once we find all of the living, we will bury the fallen and recover while we can. Wait. I think I hear something. It must be another survivor."
