So I am hoping to find a good home for a used KJW M1911 Para gas blowback pistol. I purchased this pistol some years ago (rough estimate is 8 years ago) and amazingly, to me at least, it still shoots decent. I have noticed that the slide does not lock back like it should and I have no idea why it doesn't. But it shoots hah. FPS is unknown. If I get the chance I will stop by Steve's and chrono it. As you cam see in the pictures it has brown hand guards. That is not the stock paint. When I first purchased it the whole gun was black with the exception of the barrel. The whole barrel was originally orange from the tip to were the chamber opens. I tried to paint it a gun metal black but it didnt stick all to well. Also I had to glue the hand guards into place. When I originally removed them a metal screw holder inside of the mag well came out all pretty much all four mounts, so sadly I glued it. The whole gun itself is made of plastic with the exception of certain parts. All safety's operate like the real 1911. I believe the magazine is a 28 rounder? Double stack design. You can get about 1 1/2 - 2 mags out of it on a full charge.
I am hoping to find $40 for it OBO. Even with the slide not locking back correctly it still shoots good and accurate. If any one has questions feel free to contact me. ![]() -------------------- Babys are cute... But mines the cutest...

Oooooooh that's a nice looking 1911! I think I know what is wrong with the slide not locking back, I've dealt with this many times on my HFC M9. I have to take a look at the 1911 in person. If you look in the picture, at the top of the magazine, there is a small notch right below the feeding lip. Look to see if that small notch moves up and down as you pull the spring (to load the BBs) up and down. That is what "pushes" the slide lock pin upwards to lock the slide. If that doesn't solve it, then there is a spring inside the 1911 where the slide lock button is. If you look there, see if the spring is properly latched onto the button, and check to see if the button moves (like if you pushed the slide-lock button up while the slide is forward and the magazine is ejected, the button should spring back downwards. If it doesn't, then there is something wrong with the spring).
Hopefully that gave you an idea. Let me know what happens! Austin -------------------- iPhone 3GS 32GB White; iPod Touch 4th Generation Black, ACER Iconia a500 16GB with 2GB card, HFC Full Metal M92f with Railed Frame. That's not all..... Life's good.

I should update and touch on this topic but I noticed the slide doesn't go all of Thr way back. Only half way. If you look at the picture that really small notch, it goes to about there and no further.
