Title: Looking for a game...
Description: New guy to airsoft skirmishes

Hello Reno Airsoft community!
Happy Holidays to everyone out there! I am looking for some skirmish action for me and a few of my pals. We range in ages from early 20's to much, much older... (that's the category I'm in...) I am in kind of a unique situation as I actually own an Airsoft business online, but to avoid being mistaken for using this forum as a commercial, I will not put the name out here.... Yet. If you want to know just ask and I will tell you. Again, I do not want to come across as anything else but looking for some skirmish action. I am pretty new at this, having only been in business for about 6 months now. But it's time to get out there and enjoy what I do for myself, my 8-year son and others. (Incidentally, my 8-year old is lucky that he is never out-gunned in the neighborhood backyard battles!) Myself and my pals are not the super-aggro-hardcore paramilitant types, but rather just a bunch of fun-loving, off-color joke telling regular types. We play really hard, but we also laugh a lot! Hopefully this local airsoft community has the same attitude towards the game and I cannot wait to hook up with some of you regular players and become a better player and learn a thing or two! Again, have a great holiday and look forward to your response.

Welcome! The guys here are top notch people in my book. I've had the honor to play with most of them and will be honored to play with the rest in time. Our skirmish times and dates are in the "pinned" section at the top of our General section. There is also a thread there "planning ahead" that gives people, new or veteran, the opportunity to lobby (persay) for the field they would like to play at, or even introduce a new field never played at. We would love to see you and your friends join us. :) Hope this helps a bit.

Thanks for the welcome folks! Quick question... I drove out today to attempt to find the Lemmon Valley field. (It's the closest to my place) I was not sure if I turned onto the correct road. Per instructions on the site, I was supposed to turn onto a dirt road to the right, after I see the red colored house on Matterhorn. I found what appeared to be a red barn or out-building and managed to find a very narrow trail across the street, but I am not sure if this was the correct one. Could someone tell me about how far up Matterhorn I need to drive to find the place? Thanks....

Sounds good. I know where the McDonalds is... Also, what type of terrain is the field out there at Lemmon Valley? Is it flat open desert or are there places to take cover such as rocks, trees, elevation, etc? Please advise...
Thanks!!

the top of matterhorn in lemmon valley is a good depiction of the terrain, trees are large junipers, mixed with sage, some rocks sparcely scattered, the topo is two small oppossing hills right off the road. parking is up the dirt road take a left before the shotgun club.
