The Tanabata Festival

July 7th marks the start of the Tanabata Festival. It's when according to a Chinese legend, the two stars Altair and Vega, which are usually separated from each other by the milky way, are able to meet.

The customs are people are to wear Kimonos and to write one's wishes on a piece of paper, and hang that piece of paper on a specially erected bamboo tree, in the hope that the wishes becomes true.

On our first year celebrating this event, the festival will take place here Xenotime.

"...Oh great we don't have a host for the Orihime Event. *sweatdrops*" He walks around town to see if he could find someone.

Jikos walks into Roy, spilling some of the rice on Roy's kimono, "Hey Roy, I'm sorry for that!"

Violet wandered about the festival, she was still tying the big ribbon that held her kimono together. It was silky and purple, she had borrowed it from a woman at one of the Ishbalan camps. Her cat strutted at her side, she looked good.
"I look like a dork." violet said turning down to her cat, "But.... everyone else will be dressed this way to right?"
The cat looked at her like she was insane,
"Then I have nothing to worry about. This is probably the only place Scar won't be. It is after all a festival... and that man never wants to have any fun. Not that I care." She spotted Jikos over by Roy and recognized them slightly.

Roy glares at Jikos. "Do you mind watching where you're going?!" He sighs. "Ok for that, I'm making you host the Orihime Event!!" He wipes off some the rice from his kimono and drags Jikos into an inn.

"Find a seat inside while I go clean off my Kimono." He stomps into the restroom, irritated.

"okay" said Jikos as he find a seat

Violet took a seat beside Jikos.
"I've never been to one of these... things before..."

Roy comes back out of the restroom, now seeing Kat at the table. "Joining in the festivities?" He asked, walking over to them.

"Yeah!" she said, "It looks cool! This is.. probably the first time I've even WORN something not-short."

"how are rice going off?" said Jikos

Ed walked into the inn spotting Roy and walked over to him in a Red and black kimono."Hey Roy! Hows it going?"

He was glaring at Jikos again, when Ed was calling him. "Hey, Fullmetal...short as ever I see." He laughs. "But you look good in that."

"what is Orihime Event?" said Jikos as he restrain Ed from attacking Roy

"ILL RIP YOUR LEGS OFF AND SITCK'EM ON YOUR HEAD!!!!"He struggled to get to Roy, trying to get out of Jikos' grip.

"Shut up or I will slice you with my samurai sword" said Jikos as he placed his sword at Ed's throat

As soon as Ed saw the sword, he went silent."......"._.
