-The story Had to have been updated from May through December.
-The story must be at least 10,000 words long.
-The story must be in the broad "Romance" category on fictionpress.com, but can have non-romance sub-topics. For example, the story should be found in the "Romance" section on FP, but can have "Humor/Drama" as its sub-topics.
-Writers are not allowed to self-nominate.
-Winners of pervious quarterly polls will not be eligible again for the same story.
