Ok, firstly, in Rayman 1, he was 2D, had a red scarf on his body, and had yellow shoes with white velcro. In Rayman 2, he was 3D, with the same clothes but smaller eyes. In Rayman 3, he had a red hood on his body, and yellow shoes with two orange swirls, and a red circle on each side at the bottom. In RRR, his basic outfit stayed, but the player was able to change his appearence.
Secondly, in Rayman 1, he was a happy little kid, wanting to save the world. In Rayman 2, his personality changed a bit, since he became more adapting to the new characters. In Rayman 3, he became a bit more free-going and cool, while in RRR, we didn't see his personality, just screaming Rabbids...  Well, in what was supposed to be RRR, Rayman had 2 girlfriends, Raygirl and Ly, and he had an emo dark side. I wish that game was released...Anyway, here you may talk about his changing style and personality. -------------------- Got the point? (my catchphrase

Good. Now then, Rayman was found near the Fairy Glade, and is the only one that's not created by Polokus. He must have come from a different world. Maybe that's where Rayman 1 comes in?

Another possibility is that Rayman was created how Nocturn was created. I don't mean by energy. I mean like being created by something else on a world that Polokus created.
