(He had an excellent head start. After all, it wasn't like they were as fast, or that they even had their bearings to begin with. In essence, if the whole thing hadn't been a total flop, this'd be what they called a clean getaway. The concrete moved under his feet as if he pulled the world around him, not him over it. Erastor was, at the very least, an excellent charger. Dodging bullets wasn't so easy to do at top speed. He brought himself to a halt near an alley that was some streets away from the put and ducked in there, getting behind a trashcan. Before he was able to look back and see if there were followers, he smelled hard liquor and stink, all rolled up into a human form. It was a bum in ragged clothing who chose that moment to look up and give him a lazy stare.)

Erastor: Whoops.

(Fortunately, the guy was too drunk to care that there was a wolf standing nearby. Nevertheless, Erastor went human again, now crouched behind the can, looking at the guy as he went back to sleep. He looked at him for a second, recalling the other men he'd seen today.)

Erastor: You humans are a strange breed...

Blue laughed at Hige as he jumped the dog. "I bet it's thinking the same about you," she said lightly. A few people were looking at them. Larger than normal dogs running down the sidewalk with no one holding a leash. She shook her head at the small dog.

"Poor thing," she thought, " can't go anywhere like that." She thought of when she wore a leash and collar, but shrugged it back as the wolf they were following turned.

Blue turned sharply and slowed to a stop by the trash can. There was a strong stench of liquor, but she ignored it. She looked over to Hige, then stepped up. Trying not to scare the human that was their she was back in her human form. "So, why were you running," she said being straight forward.

Hige was standing next to Blue. The smell of rum was overwhelming as it stung his sensitive nose. He snuffed then looke dat the pitifull human lying on the ground...wasted. He sighed deeply for the man but then turned to the other that was running from the bar. Brown pools looked at him curuosly as he waited for the answer that Blue asked him.

Erastor: Hmmm?

(He looked over to see a girl- No, not a girl. Well, a girl in a sense, but not a human. Erastor found himself looking at a shewolf in human appearance, asking him why he was running. She must've been what he smelled before, with another wolf coming up in the rear. How many actual wolves were in this town? Erastor stood up, looking at Blue with his gray eyes. There was something...odd about her, a noticeable difference from the other wolf, besides gender. In any case, he answered evenly.)

Erastor: I had a guy's wallet, found it after he was arrested. I was gonna use the money to buy a meal there, but some other human said he's seen the wallet and knew that I'd stolen it. I could've busted them all down and taken what I wanted, but it's not the way I do things, at least not over one lousy meal.

(These two were somewhat young, kind of like him. He wasn't sure if either of them had had to deal with the same shit as he had, but they didn't look the stupid type, either. Also, they weren't like that officer, the guy who was also a wolf. Erastor didn't think there'd be much trouble out of them.)

Blue sighed. Typical answer. Seemed like everyone was having trouble these days. She looked at Hige then back to the other.

"If we hadn't already tried our luck, Hige could have probably gotten you something,"
she said jokingly and nudged him slightly. Their earlier attempt worked, but it probably had made this wolf's attempt harder.

She looked back down at the sleeping human. "Weird things," she thought as it moved a little in it's sleep. It was obviously to drunk to have any idea what was going on, but Blue kept an eye on it just in case.

Hige smiled and closed his eyes, blacj=jness was all he saw. "Yeah, I could of gotten you a bone or something." he joked. He isnt that mean....He scratched the back of his head and opened his eyes. His smile would warm the hearts of many...untill he would ask them for food or money. From the corner of his eye, he could see people walking angerlly, slouching, nagging. He hummed and ignored them simply "I guess people have it tougher sometimes." He folded his hands into the pockets of his sweater and looked around, figgiting with his collar, looking out for cops or anything.

Erastor: Heh. You don't say. Well, that's great...

(He eyes the wallet still in his hand and the bum not too far from the lot of them. Despite his horrid smell, Erastor could see that he wasn't just some worthless piece of crap. He had it hard like the rest of them, only no man had himself a set of teeth and claws good enough to tackle a meal on their own. Erastor dropped the wallet by the guy. He never liked doing things the human way that much, anyhow.)

Erastor: I've just got no luck with humans, I guess. Well, time to hunt, then... I'll be seein' ya.

(He turned to head down the alley at his usual non-rushed pace. There was food out there somewhere. Things lived and breathed, and someone was being careless around this town at some point or another. Food wasn't impossible to find. It was just difficult. But then again, Erastor knew that he'd been in worse situations. Right now, he was only hungry. Hunting while badly wounded and weak... Now, that's a challenge.)

Blue wondered about him as he walked off. It was hard to find anything that wasn't human or one of their pets now. She looked over at the poor human and her eyes were sympathetic. Though it wasn't in a high class, she thought this human was one of the strongest humans there was. It survived on what it could get, even if it was stealing.
With a flick, she looked up at Hige, he didn't seem to be worried about much. She sighed, "What now?"

"What a stuck up." he sighed as he walked away. They could have formed an alliance. It would be easier in a group to steal and 'hunt' together. Hunt, something that Hige hasnt done in a long time. "Maby we should do what he's doing. Hunt. Still remember how to do that Blue?" he laughed a bit. His teeth hasnt been stained with fair blood in a while. His tounge has had no warm crimson liquid. His mouth was watering just thinking about it. The instinks of a wolf were kicking in. Acting like a human was taking that all away. The feeling of grass underneath his feet, fallen leaves brushing his fur..he missed it all....expecially the wide open space...and not not be cluttered by buildings all around.

Blue smiled. "He might have been stuck up, but at least he seemed to know what he was doing," she said in an impressed voice. Blue wasn't too surprised to hear Hige ask his question. What they had gotten earlier wouldn't last him long.
The question was a difficult one to answer. She remembered hunting with the others, but that was the only times she had ever had to hunt. For some reason, Pops had been in her thoughts all that day. "I...Of course," she said, wanting to get away from the crowded city. She remembered her hometown and the soft grass, the warm sun gently shining down on them.

"Alrighty then.." he winked and unscruffed his collar "Lets go my dear." he said with a playfull bow as he let out his hand. Acutally hunting again scared him though. What if he becomes rabid? What if the humans see the decaying carcasses of the animals they have killed. Nervious thoughts crossed his mind. Eyes were closed halfway as he was still in the 'bow' posistion. A soft sigh then a gentile breeze flowed through his sweater as he looked up at her and winked again.

Blue giggled. Hige was always one to cheer her up. She sighed and smiled as she took a step forward. It had been a while since they had hunted, and a couple of times they had gotten hurt while doing so. She wondered what they could possibly find around here. A large city was home to only humans, rats, small dogs, and annoying cats. She shrugged it off. "I hope he knows what he's doing," she thought taking another step, then winked back at him.

He sat back up and smiled again. Browm pools were looking around for any sort of shurbbery. The town has totally demolished the forestry. He could somewhat hear their cries coming from beneath the concrete. A sad sigh and closed his eyes, head toward the beating sun. "Lets get going befor our food runs off to another part of the world." he waved his hand and started to walk.

Blue went along. " Your stomach would follow, " she joked. She was glad to be leaving that city. There where too many people for her tastes. One or two she could handle, but not hundereds. The only plants she could see were hanging on window sills or in shops. This was no place for any animal, especially a wolf.
