Epona runs full speed through the trees and comes to a clearing. A sign reads, "Welcome to all Friends!" Suddenly he trips and falls onto the grass. Looking at his previous footing he sees no rocks or branches. Getting up from the ground, Epona thinks,"Hmmm, I wonder where the Ponies who wrote that sign are?"

Wandering further into the valley he comes upon a fountain. The fountain has writing on it but he cannot read it; it is foreign to him. Confused, he continues his search. The ground is moist and butterflies, birds, and fluffy forest creatures move here and there barely noticing him. Everything is bright and happy and Epona hopes the dark cloud will not come to this place.

The ponies of that place seem to have left; there is no sign of them! Epona begins to leave the valley to return to Paradise Estate but then....
