The USS Vanguard is in need of Department Head players, most positions are available.

I have over 10 years of PbEM and Around-the-Table roleplaying experience and I have seen what happens in most PbEM games. Established players often ignore new players, player cliques form, <TAGS> go unanswered, your posts get interrupted, your character is used and abused by other players, the plot breaks down because everyone wants their idea forwarded, every character is perfect and without flaws. . . .

In one game, my character lay dying at the door of the sickbay for several rounds while others walked over him to get in and out, even the doctor. In another, a Klingon held a phaser to my head in the town square while others milled about, one even poking his head into my tavern to remark how his own was better than mine.

As the Captain and GM of the game, I will ensure that each tag is answered and that everyone works with one another to forward the story. Posts that severly interfere with the plot and work to destroy the story will be discounted. If your post is ignored by a character, I will answer for that character to make sure that your posts moved forward.

I am creating a game where players will enjoy writing the part of the story that their characters are involved in, working together to solve the puzzle they are faced with.
