Aki's absence

Alright, Aki's gone, we all know that. RPs have kind of frozen up since then. It's understandable, Aki's characters are necessary for most of our Role-Plays to advance, and she isn't even talking to us on IRC. We don't even know when she'll come back. But still, we can't just roll over and die. We've gotten a couple posts recently, but for some RPs we either need to make her characters move or we give up.

I know we all hate doing this, but we have to role-play her characters for her. Luckily, since she won't be showing up for a while, she can't criticize us if we handle them badly. Ha! Anyway, we need to decide who gets which characters until she gets back.

Will has agreed to control Meg in Yuudai, and has suggested Star RP her friend and Rick do her brother. I can RP Aloe/Mint in Renegade, and also Mizu in both Renegade and QftGH2 (though I'll have to read some recent posts to get a handle on the new dark and gloomy Mizu). Ayumu in Renegade and Ascension have to be RP'd, as well as her characters in Nemesis and ZEUS. Unfortunately, Chao Retry and Court Records will have to be postponed, since she definitely has to be here for those.

As I've said to Xar (twice, I think), it's hard enough controlling my own characters sometimes. But if it means that RPs would get moving, I guess I could live with that, haha.

I'm still around, by the way! I don't have enough time to actually make any decent posts (and by that I mean I can make a post but I'll either have to go back and edit it or I'll spend some much time reading the surrounding text to make sure I don't need to edit it that it'll just wind up being a ginormous waste of time) (either way it just takes way too long) but I'm not... dead... exactly. Okay, maybe I am dead. Point is, I'm still here to watch over you, so don't go crazy, yeah?

Under normal circumstances, I would have demanded you to get my permission before doing something as drastic as this, but, well, these aren't normal circumstances. So that's completely understandable. I approve, guys. Really. It's fine by me. None of my own characters are particularly difficult to control, and it's not like I have the time to read posts and see if you're controlling them right, so I'm going to have to trust you. Do your best, guys. That's all I have to say.

By the way, don't feel pressured to keep PDS flowing just for the sake of it. If you've got too much work and not enough time, well, you know how to prioritize. I really am touched that you guys are doing this, really, but I really hope you all know what you're getting into.

Can someone other than me RP Mizu/Aloe in Renegade? For now it's annoying having her fight my own vampires, and on a more long-term note I liked Mint's interaction with Tatae, and it's annoying roleplaying both of them.

Mint/Aloe from ZEUS still needs someone to roleplay her if we're not just gonna ignore her. I vote NJ, he seems to have some new, fresh ideas that could really spice up her character.

Two simple reasons. One, you are female, and the one closest to being legal, so it only makes sense that you would be the one to call the male's attention; and two, you stand in a high post of power, so people are drawn towards mocking you the same way they mock politicians and other figures like that. The most dangerous it is to make fun of someone, the funnier it is, it seems.

Yet again, two simple reasons. One, maybe you don't enjoy that thrill that the others experience when teasing the one who can fry their asses off by just clicking in a few buttons. Two, you have Peter Pan's syndrom, so you don't want to grow up and insists on messing with the younger ones.

Actually I tease Aki because she kicks me all the time. And taunts me by playing games that aren't out over here/will not ever come out over here.

I think its because Star seems more pissed. And truth be told, I only really annoy her on Mirc, WHERE SHE CAN KICK ME! In fact, Star has kicked me more than Aki. =P
