Title: Renegade

Xartarin - May 4, 2009 04:05 AM (GMT)
Yesterday - Bounty Hunter Convention Hall

The convention hall was completely filled to the brim with Bounty Hunters. They said this was an important meeting. It better have been, nearly every Bounty Hunter had been gathered, even the new recruits they had just gathered from other dimensions. This was especially big for the Bounty Hunters; it wasn't like they were an organized crime-fighting force, just a loose association of guys who felt like getting a quick buck in a job that let them shoot people with impunity. Gathering them all had taken two months, and they had finally settled down after an hour of horseplay and shooting into the air.

Worst of all, Tatae couldn't even see the stage. Mint was sitting in the seat, but in the dark convention hall she didn't even cast a shadow. Tatae was only hearing everything, hoping that Mint could explain any visuals.

"Well, thank you all for coming, I know you all have busy schedules," said a Mariel that had taken the stage, wearing a brown ruffled Witch hat. She saw all of the nasty looks that the Bounty Hunters were giving her. "WELL ANYWAY, here, we have some issues to address. My name is Katy, and I'll be hosting this meeting," She had a set of index cards with notes she was shuffling through with two of her spidery limbs, her other two folded up so she could sit, "First off, let's welcome our two new recruits, Garen and Kunrai!"

A spotlight moved to illuminate the two, sitting in the middle of the hall. A cough was made, but no other sound, and the spotlight was shut off. "Erm, okay. Second thing: We'd like to thank our three-years member Tatae, who appears to be absent, who brought back a device that let's us travel into other dimensions a couple months ago. For those of you that didn't pick up the new trans-dimensional Bingo Book that was released a couple days after wards, they're outside in the hall." Tatae growled, wishing she was up there getting credit.

"Um, and here is the troubling part," Katy said, "It appears as though there has been a complete and utter change in management, which is why I'm here, I was just hired a couple days ago. This syndicate, and all others my boss is buying out, are now having a rewrite in protocol and procedures. All work-related actions are from now on to be reported to an officer here, and logged into a file. If your quota is not filled every month, you will be dismissed. If you are dismissed, your name will be added to the Target List, which has now been expanded to include all criminals from all dimensions we have access to, and not just the extremely dangerous ones. They're locations are going to be tracked on a large TV screen you'll find out in the hall, which are being tracked by a DNA and Magical Signature tracking system we have recently acquired. WANTED signs will be taken down, as all bounty hunting is now taken over by the syndicate. Everyone will receive a fraction of the typical reward money, the rest goes to the company."

"WHAT!?!" Was more or less the cry by everyone in the room. A couple Bounty Hunters got out of their chairs and leaped forward, firing crossbows and brandishing battle axes.

From a dark curtain behind Katy emerged a huge, clunky, noisy robot. It looked extremely steampunk, made of dull silvery metal, big clunky parts, and had steam erupting from several pipes. It looked golem-like, and was basically human-shaped. It brought a hand down in front of Katy. Melee weapons slashed uselessly against it, projectiles were easily deflected. A Waddle Doo bounty hunter holding two katanas jumped over the hand, aiming to assasinate Katy. However, a giant metal fist several times bigger than he was punched him, sending him flying across the room.

"Get to work." Katy said coldly.

Present - The Guild of Noble Thieves

"FINALLY!" Yelled an alien looking creature in a room, who had just finished scribbling furiously on sheets, providing a huge mountain of paper. On the wall against her, six sheets had been nailed to the wall. "There, I finished looking into the future and made a list of every criminal I want to recruit, when they're going to be captured, and where! Freaking thing took me two months, Zyon~!" said Zyon, and pointed over to the wall. She was talking to a small chameleon, sitting on a stack of papers. "Over there are the six that are going to be captured first, all at 10:27 Sunday morning!"

"That's in five minutes," said the chameleon, talking in an extremely high-pitched voice. Through four black goggle eyes, Zyon stared gravely at the chameleon, and suddenly took off down the hall, which looked like an underground tunnel.

"Shitshitshitshitshitshit," she said, running as fast as she could, the chameleon trailing behind, "Rizzy, get every lizard that can speak English, Zyon~!!"

"Vidar!" He barked. A green Anole darted out of a hole in the wall, following the three.

They arrived in a big chamber, that looked like it was carved out of the ground. They were on a high wooden platform. Below, there were several floors of jail cells, and at the bottom a ring of magnifying glasses hanging from chains nailed to the wall. Zyon jumped off the balcony, with both lizards in one of her hands, and landed on the ground without a scratch. She dropped both on the ground, and said, "Alright, let's move!"

((Alright, here we go! There are only three guys picking up your characters at the moment, so some people will have to ward off Bounty Hunters longer than others. Anyway, I know I was planning out fights, but really just go wherever, they're Bounty Hunters for christ's sake.))
((As for locations, Bythos is in a ruined research lab in the middle of the forest, Hexor is in a hut in the middle of a completely different forest, Mizu is in her house, Nahtan is hanging around on the crumbled ruins of a city on Popstar in Kosakuland, Nathan is asking for change down the street from Ayuburger, and Evil IV is............. OH CRAP. I forgot to ask Rick where that guy is. Rick?))
((Anyway, the Bounty Hunters have teleporters, so just blast into existence right next to the guy you want to pound the crap out of.))
((And...... go now.))

((EDIT: Oh, one more thing. The teleporters the Bounty Hunters are using are more advanced than the original model Luna built. They can teleport to different areas in the same dimension (not sure if Luna's could do that), and Bounty Hunters carry a small metal block with a black button on it that teleports them back, which is how they get arrested criminals back to the company.))

((Anyway, if you don't mind, Will, I'll have my Bounty Hunter character pop in next to Hexor, kay?))

((Evil IX, damn you. As for where he is...erm, I don't know. I've no clue where to place the bastard.

Also I might just use Steel Knight as my Bounty Hunter char...))
((Be posting later, I have to go.))

((Like this guys.))

It was a pretty dismal place that Kunrai and Garen were walking through. What was apparently a city had taken a pretty fair beating to it. "What is this place? It's a dump," Kunrai said, looking around.

"Kosakuland," Garen said, looking at the area through his hidden, large circular glasses. "Sounds like a theme park, don'tcha think?"

"Whatever," She said, realizing they were getting distracted, "NATHAN! Come on out, and I might be easy on you!"

"See him," Garen said, reaching into his Sir Kibble helmet and adjusting his glasses. He pointed to the right, and they both started running in that direction.

((Garen's profile is on the first post of Virus KOTS, and Kunrai's is in Spring Breeze. Garen is a Sir Kibble with red boots and a dark green scarf, and Kunrai is a Noddy with purple hair, some braided in the back, some coming down in front.))

"So, what do you think I should put on my hobo sign?" Nathan asked, in his "Nate" costume, in a completely not-Kosakuland city, standing on a street corner, talking to a filthy Knuckle Joe hobo. The oven mitten that was normally on his left hand was replaced by a completely and utterly normal white gloves, and he was holding his black crystal halberd behind his back.

"Yash mel babula," he mumbled, "Baga rep bnu man."

"Ummmm.... okaaaaaaay," Nathan said, not understanding a word the hobo had just said.

"I yoosh to be a poleeshman," he said, looking up at Nathan.

"I used to be a mass murderer, funny huh?" Nathan replied, "So, on this hobo sign, I was originally thinking "on the run from the law, need money" but then someone might call the cops."

"I yoosh to be a cop," said the hobo.

Nathan thought for a bit. "That's right, you did," he said, "So, what do you suggest for the hobo sign?"

"Why lie, need beers," said the hobo, drinking a mouthful of the aforementioned beverage.

"Brilliant," Nathan said, looking at his piece of cardboard on the ground. "Now all I need is a marker... and cup."

Kosaku - May 5, 2009 10:12 PM (GMT)
Nahtan (that's Nahtan, not Nathan for those who don't know the difference) had been walking around the ruins of a city in the former Kosakuland for quite a while.

Some time ago, Kosakuland had been defeated by the Galaxy Soldier Army, which had been greatly underestimated in strength. To celebrate, someone in the Galaxy Soldier Army had the insane idea to bomb all of the cities in Kosakuland, which, though irresponsible (and resulting in the demise of a crapload of clones, though somehow this detail had been avoided at every meeting), it at least guaranteed that Kosakuland wasn't coming back.

Nahtan had decided to take a look at one of the destroyed cities just to see the damage that had been caused. He still wore his green tour guide uniform with his name tag on it, but the uniform was now in bad shape, with a torn collar and multiple buttons missing. Ragged black cloth poked out from under the uniform.

He heard someone yell something far behind him. "NATHAN! Come on out, and I might be easy on you!"

Nahtan whirled around. They're looking for Nathan of all people? Well, it's too bad they found me, thought Nahtan, and pulled a bottle of gasoline from under his uniform.

---

Samuel Higashibata had been spending the few past months (by his point of view, at least) almost being killed by his son, Kosaku, being randomly pulled about 200,000 years into the future by some sort of...person thing, and becoming a bounty hunter to make a living in this strange world of electricity.

He was amazed, but not because of spaceships, electronic machines, or any such thing. He was just amazed that the future was not as different as it was cracked up to be. Sure, he had had to learn a whole new language, but the fact that he spoke a language that would eventually/had already evolved into the current language, made it a bit easier to figure out.

Anyway, from what he could gather, he was supposed to let this guy named Bythos get some rest... no, wait. He was supposed to arrest Bythos, yes, because of dealing cards in the shade. Er, that's not right. Okay, he was supposed to arrest Bythos, and he was going to arrest him because of shady dealings in some sort of illegal laboratory. Shady meant something like illicit, it seemed. So, the basic idea was to find him and arrest him.

He decided he would check the lab first. Of course, no one was so stupid as to come back to the crime scene, but it was the only lead he actually had.

His current mode of transportation was a sort of steam-powered hovercraft that used high-pressure steam to propel it into the air. Samuel had made the mistake of calling it a spaceship, until someone informed him that spaceship meant something that could actually leave the atmosphere. That was an embarrassing experience. In any case, Samuel managed to pilot it until he reached the forest and expertly maneuvered it directly into a tree. He decided to walk the rest of the way.

Star Kirby - May 6, 2009 12:33 AM (GMT)
"AIEEEEEEE-"

THUD.

"WHAT, IS YOUR BUDGET SO LOW YOU CAN'T EVEN DUMP PEOPLE OUTSIDE A PORTAL PROPERLY!?" Kindra shouted, bypassing angry and just plain furious. She turned around, muttering mutinously. "...Who lives in this kind of dump?" For right in front of her was a small house(?), if it could even be called that. "Um... So pop in, handcuff them... Uh...where are my cards..." Kindra shuffled a few index cards around, words scribbled on them. "Okay..uh, knock on the door...?"

"...Screw it." Kindra flew up to the door, and kicked it. "HEY!" she yelled inside, glancing at her notes. "Um... You have the right to remain inside-I mean SILENT! Anything you say will be used and misquoted- I mean against you! So um...COME OUT NOW OR FACE THE CONSEQuences...? Ahhh, crap, he's probably going to put up a fight...Where's my wand, where are the handcuffs that they were supposed to supply us with?!"

((Aaaand that's Hexor's cue.))

William - May 6, 2009 01:38 AM (GMT)
Hexor had been travelling through that weird, entirely forest-covered world for a few days.

It was boring.

Specially seen how there wasn't a single person around there to talk to, other than the damned Rocher who every once in a while asked for meat. Hexor had eaten a few weird, chimp-like animals, and those were making him feel pretty weird.
"Damn, I gotta take a nap..." he muttered, holding his stomach. "...ah" he added, as he spotted what seemed to be an abandoned hut. "What's this place doing here?" Hex stopped moving for a few seconds, and rose a hand from his stomach to his chin, making his typical thinking expression. "Anyway, finally a roof for me to sleep below!! I'll hope that place's really abandoned, or I'm on trouble."
Hexor entered the hut. The door was unlocked, but all the windows had bars and locks and other protective stuff. Whoever left that place for whatever reason, did so in a rush: everything was still there, food, some random magazines obviously not from tha world, clothes spread on the floor. Not like he really cared. He headed over to the bed on the back, and as soon as his body made contact to the not-so-soft-but-still-softer-than-dirt surface, he fell asleep.

The next day, he woke up to the sound of a puffball barging into the hut.
"...Huh? Oh, hey, there. I was just taking a nap here, if you don't mind, so... By the way, nice color."
Hey, dipshit, she said she's gonna arrest you!!, Rocher shouted inside Hexor's mind.
Oh, yeah. Guess I should worry a bit more about that, huh?, he replied, standing up. "Okay, so, here's the catch. I want to know what I did, be judged righfully for my felony, and be put in a jail with according accomodations and security. No abusive guards, no abusive room-mates, no stuff like those weird movies! Copy?"
... are you actually going to give up, Rocher said inside Hexor's mind, speaking as if to a retard.
What? Wasn't I supposed to do that?, Hexor answered, looking up to the ceiling. Oh wait, hahaha, it's true, not like I'm gonna go to jail that easily! Sorry, I'm still kinda sleepy, he added, then yawning. "Okay, then, change of plans" he announced to the puffball. "I'm not going to jail. You can leave now, and tell your people to stop coming after me, or you can be used as an example to what will happen to anyone else that comes and tryes to arrest me for whatever it is that I've done!! Speaking of which, what have I done?" He raised an eyebrow when saying this last phrase, and then yawned again.
You can't be intimidating at all, can you?!, reprimanded Rocher.
Hey, can't think straight right after waking up, Hexor replied.

Xartarin - May 6, 2009 03:16 AM (GMT)
Kosakuland

Nahtan waited for Kunrai and Garen to show up. They weren't totally there yet. Once Garen had detected Nahtan's position, they had moved around him. They weren't completely silent, what with Garen's clunky armor, but they had snuck in the back of a crumbled building. On the third floor of the building, which wasn't the third originally, they ran across a bunch of shattered cubicles and towards a window. Garen jumped up to look at Nahtan in the street once, hopefully not being spotted.

"That's not Nathan, that's a clone of him, Nahtan. His name backwards," Garen said, "Fire powers. He's also proficient with pole weapons, and is carrying gasoline."

"If he's a clone, that would explain how we it tripped up the DNA tracker," Kunrai said, remembering that two Nathans showed up on the radar, "But it looks like we picked the short straw and got the clone. Oh well, hopefully we'll get the same reward. Ready?"

"More than you," Garen said, grinning in his armor.

Garen removed the Sir Kibble cutterang from the top of his helmet, and made a quick slash in the crack between the glass and the window frame. He jumped up and gave the window a quick kick, knowing that the glass was made to withstand missile fire by looking at it through his analytical glasses. The glass tipped over and fell out, and with a burst of his light boots, flew forward and landed on the front of the glass. Kunrai jumped out of the window as well, landing on the back.

With Garen on the front, the glass tipped forward, and landed on a pile of rubble the building was submerged in. The two, on the nearly invincible glass, were now sliding down the pile of broken bits of building and people. Garen threw his boomerang at Nahtan, which was curving to hit him from his left side. Kunrai stepped a centimeter to the left, and spat out a fountain pen. It aimed to hit Nahtan if he stepped to the right, and would inject him with sleeping poison.

((Humans such as Mint and Mizu's human half will be scaled down to prevent godmodding. I'll say it has something to do with interdimensional travel magic shrinking you down or something, I don't know. Just an FYI.))

Mint wasn't sure if she could do this. Sure, she'd taken out criminals before, but now she wasn't so sure. It was as if something had compelled her to do something she normally wouldn't. She shook off the feeling. This was her life now, she presumed. She'd just have to get used to it. It wasn't as hectic as killing zombies, but something about this wasn't quite the same.

She felt this kind of guilt on a daily basis, almost. As if what she was doing wasn't quite right.

Mint convinced herself to snap out of it. The target was in sight. She knew the drill. Same as always. Stroll up by him and let Tatae do all the fancy work. She was a master at this by now, and anyway, the victim in sight seemed distracted by a hobo who smelled strongly of beer. Mint quickly double checked her shadow to make sure it was pointing in the right direction, then began her march.

Tatae, target is in sight, she said. You'll sense two bodies there, take the first one, the second one is not our target, just a hobo. He's a witness alright, but judging from the conversation I'd just overheard I suspect he won't tell if we barter with either beer, which we don't have, or money, which I definitely have.

((Mizu's part later. She's just chilling in her house right now.))

Kosaku - May 8, 2009 12:55 AM (GMT)
Samuel walked through the forest. "The lab has to be around here somewhere," said Samuel to himself, reading a map sideways. "It looks like it is in...some sort of direction." He decided to wander a bit and walked directly into a random laboratory.

Samuel pulled himself off of the ground. He scratched his head. "Wait a second, how am I supposed to arrest this guy?" He decided that he would completely make it up as he went along.

"Alright," said Samuel after smashing the door down, which wasn't very impressive in itself because the door in question had not been treated with anything that could remotely be considered good care and thus would have as easily been felled with a slight breeze, "put your various appendages up or various other directions depending on which way they typically go in this situation! You are over--er, under arrest for doing something that apparently is not generally accepted by today's society, and in fact seems to break some sort of rule that some guy decided to write down on some sort of official paper! Thus, you will endure some sort of appropriate punishment and have some type of rights, or possibly not, and you might be entitled to an attorney, but I really don't know! In any case, you are going somewhere that you probably will not want to go, unless you do, in which case, congratulations for your great success!"

With that, Samuel pulled out some sort of metal thing that apparently restrained the arms. Handcuffs or something.

((I'll figure out Nahtan's part later.))

((Right, so are there any criminals (aside from mine) who aren't being hunted currently? Any for Steel Knight to hunt down?))

((Posting Lancer's position now.))

It was an incredibly boring day. Lancer dandered into a bar, one of those old country bars you rarely ever saw these days. He hadn't had any jobs recently, and found himself on the receiving end of a few scrappy, idealistic "Bounty Hunters" as of late. He managed to dispatch one before having to flee, he hated fighting multiple opponents. He had managed to lose them, he thought, and now was tired.

He sat himself down beside a window, not caring that he could easily be shot through it. As far as he knew, there weren't any threats in this place. Nor any threats coming for him. He could just relax.

((Be posting Steel Knight's bit later, when I have a criminal to hunt.))

Chocolate Kirby - May 8, 2009 10:40 PM (GMT)
((Guess I'll do Evan and Kyro...))

Kyro was leaning against one of the giant blocks in the round room reading the 2nd Super Luigi Book. The series was actually pretty interesting and he only had about 3 more books after this one until he had to search down a new series.

"Kyrokyrokyrokyrokyrokyro KYRO!" Evan shouted right in Kyro's ear, making him jump and lose the page he was on.
"What could you possibly want with me now?" Kyro asked in an annoyed voice. He hated when his brother did thinks like this.
"Hey Kyro, I stole a pretty cool fire flower from a store! Except the store guy said it was a duo power up.....or something like that!"
"Oh okay, that's pretty cool." Kyro said. He leaned up and retreved his fallen book and began to find the page. "I'm sure it was around Chapter 14..." he muttered to himself. Then he thought of a way to get rid of Evan for a while.
"Hey....Evan? You wouldn't mind getting me a hamburger from Fry Guy's, would you?"
"Okeeey Dokeeey!" Evan said. he turned to walk out of the room.

Xartarin - May 8, 2009 10:47 PM (GMT)
((I don't think Choc has a bounty hunter character as of now, but I have three or four I can use if there's not enough, so don't worry.))

Down the street from Ayuburger

"So basically you're saying I don't want anything that's too... show-offy?" Nathan said. Because of the voice transformer, most of it was coming out like messed up static, but somehow the hobo was understanding.

"Yggeah, ain' dosuch ding as vidnam," he mumbled, shaking his cup at some people who passed by, who didn't spare any change.

"Maybe I could be a train car hobo," Nathan said, pondering, "But where's the money in that? Oh, hey, some people I could pester!" He spotted a blond woman walking down the sidewalk, with a very serious look on her face. Maybe she was late somewhere. Should I really bug her? Nathan thought, Nah, probably not. Also, it looks like she has a gun. Ouch.

"Top of the morning!" He said in a garbled yet cheery tone as Mint walked near, holding out his hands for some change.

Nathan was now standing on Mint's shadow. Tatae couldn't see out of it yet, completely submerged, but jumped up. In a Jaws-like fashion, she leaped out of the shadow, and grabbed Nathan's legs. Nathan, who had been chased by Tatae before, instinctively dropped his halberd and hugged Mint. Tatae stopped trying to drag him in, afraid she would drag Mint in.

"Um, Mint," Tatae said, "I thought I told you that Nathan was a keke with a demonic left arm, not a hobo simirror who's clothes smell like gummi worms."

Star Kirby - May 8, 2009 11:51 PM (GMT)
He'd only come back to the abandoned lab to pick some things up, not planning on staying more than a day, really. But somehow, Bythos found himself on the receiving end of a seemingly random arrest.

Fortunately for him, the guy "arresting" him didn't seem too bright. Ha, I bet I could walk right out of here. he laughed to himself. Wonder how they found the lab though. As far as I know, this lab wasn't anywhere on any sort of map. ...Then again, they never let me see any of the info. "Hey, officer!" Bythos said cheerfully. "I'm happy to say that my intention WAS to get caught, so thanks for your congratulations!" Might as well see what they want, maybe hack into their information for things.

- - - - - - -

"ACK!" Kindra jumped back as the door was flung open, waving her Mirror Wand around wildly. HOLY CRAP! They never told me I was supposed to arrest a guy who is at least four feet taller than I am! As soon as I get back...I'M PRESSING CHARGES. "Um...anyway. Ahem, I'm apparently here to arrest you for...doing something that I have no idea of and really, I don't want to know, and just so you know I'm doing a job here, it would be really nice if you could just come with me and save me-I mean yourself from more pain, capiche? And since you are probably not going to listen to me after I have finished my rant, I'm afraid I don't have a choice so sorry, I gotta do this."

Kindra jumped up, landing on Hexor's head. "Um, please don't make things harder..." she said, swinging her wand at his head.

Aki - May 9, 2009 12:28 AM (GMT)
((...Ohhhh, shit, I forgot he's disguised and all. Dammit, how am I gonna get out of this one...))
((I don't even know.))

"Huh... that's strange, I could've sworn that he was the one you were looking for..." contemplated Mint, realizing only just then that they were actually both hobos. "Still, though, there's a little something suspicious about this guy's voice. Do you think it'd be worth our while to check him out? We could've actually snagged a totally different criminal by accident."

((It sorta makes sense, I guess.))

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -

It was midday, but regardless, the room still remained rather dark. The blinds were mostly shut, the lights all turned off. The furniture, sitting around in disarray, contributed to the gloomy atmosphere of the room. Laying on a beaten up sofa was a robed figure with a pitch black face, looking a bit gloomy herself. This figure was Mizu.

Ever since the tournament, Mizu's guardian, Luna, noticed that Mizu hadn't quite been herself. The Simirror sat around, lounging on sofas and wasting away her days doing nothing. She'd been so energetic before, though. Perhaps that was why. Mizu was exhausted, perhaps? It'd make sense for her to try to take the quiet life for once.

Luna was sitting outside, watching the scenery of Yogurt Yard roll by. She seemed just a bit under the weather. She didn't like to see Mizu so inactive. Even if it meant her getting in trouble, she'd be interested if Mizu actually did something with her life.

((Yeah they live in Yogurt Yard.))

Rick - May 10, 2009 03:24 AM (GMT)
((This is now the theme for the Bounty Hunters.))

"...Well, I daresay I never expected to see this person again."

Steel Knight looked down at the name in the new, trans-dimensional book in his hand before him. In order to help keep down evil, he had recently become a Bounty Hunter. After the new management meeting, he was given a new target; a target he had come across before...except, the target, from what he recalled, was a little mage girl. Why would he, a Bounty Hunter, be sent after a little girl?

Steel Knight looked up at the house before him. So, this was where the girl, Mizu, lived. He hoped he wouldn't have to get violent - in fact he didn't want to - but when faced with imprisonment, some people freaked out. He was somewhat tempted to let her go, but then there was the problem that if he did, they'd send a lunatic hunter after her, someone who wouldn't care what she was.

Steel Knight walked up to the house, and knocked on the door, slipping the book he was holding into his armour through his visor. It was easy to fit through.

Xartarin - May 11, 2009 03:50 AM (GMT)
Down the Street From Ayuburger

"Yeah, formal questioning," Tatae said, letting go of Nathan. He dropped off of Mint and landed on solid ground, and bent over to pick up his halberd. This CAN'T be the real Nathan. His left hand.. it's cursed, it's the whole reason we're chasing him. It wouldn't fit in a glove like that, Tatae thought, analyzing the situation.

"Ah, thanks for letting me go Tatae," Nathan said, rubbing the back of his head with his free hand.

There was an awkward silence.

"Get him!" Tatae yelled, sinking back into the shadow.

"Oh shit oh SHIT!" Nathan panicked as the voice transformer slipped off his mouth, as he started dashing past the hobo and down the sidewalk.

((Hey Will, pick Evil IX or Evan and Kyro to have your Bounty Hunter to attack. I have Bounty Hunters to take whatever you don't pick, or both if you don't feel like revealing Nathan yet.))

William - May 11, 2009 05:43 PM (GMT)
"What, you think I'm gonna give up? Pffft, get off" Hexor said, brushing Kindra off his head. "If you think I'm going to jail, then you most likely are on drugs! You're going to have to knock me unconscious twice to take me there!"
Hehehehe, hope she does knock you out, so that way I can feed, Rocher said inside Hexor's soul.
Well, she's not gonna get through me that easy, Hexor replied. "Anyway, I'm giving you the first attack, so do your best! ...whatever it is that you do."

((Gonna take Lancer. I should most likely post Nathan's profile, but I'll do that shortly.))

And then the window was broken into many tiny little pieces by the booted foot, aimed straight at Lancer's chin. Nathan then spun in mid-air, and a small hurricane formed around him as he shot the wind forwards. He flipped backwards and landed on his feet over the balcony.
"You are under arrest", he said, pulling two exatly similar knives from the pockets of his coat, "Lancer. You should have a longer name so my entrance could sound cooler, but either way, stand still while I incapacitate you, or else I might have to cripple you, and in case of continued movement, I am going to terminate you." Nathan took a long breath, because he spoke all at once. "Now. Are you coming with me without resistence?"

((Assuming Godhand actually happened, Mizu should already know the Steel Knight...))
((Oh, hey, wait a second! The Steel Knight is back, hooray! That guy was cool, although his backstory reeked of Full Metal Alchemist...))

"Mizu! Get the door!" shouted Luna, hearing the knock. The knock was pretty heavy sounding, but hey, you got some people around Pop Star that were definitely pretty bulky, but not necessarily bad. The other day she'd witnessed a pair of Buggzies picking up litter and, to be honest, they looked like they were throughoughly enjoying it. She answered the door and found herself face to face with a rather familiar figure.

"Oh, hey, there!" said Luna, instantly recalling the Steel Knight. "What's going on, are you here to see Mizu? Sure, sure, she's in the back room... MIZU! GET YOUR ASS OUT HERE!"

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Mizu heard a shout from the other room. Hmmph... so Luna wanted her to up to the front door again. Pfft. Fine by her. She'd just morph into human form and scare the little bastard away. "Yeah, yeah, who is it..." she asked, yawning. Mizu rubbed her eyes and accidentally bumped into the Knight's armor. "Oh, it's just you..." she said tiredly. "Hey, there, Mr. Steel Knight, how'sitgoin'?" Mizu knew she couldn't scare him away - for one, he wasn't one who was easily scared, and he'd already seen her human form anyway. It didn't work anyway unless it was used on somebody who was actually born on Pop Star. Actually, she supposed it might've been because she was just a scary person, not because of being an anomally.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Mint didn't give chase right away. She knew she wouldn't be able to catch him easily. Instead, she allowed black static to spread over her body first, applying what looked like darkish purple bandages all over her body at record speed. In less than ten seconds, she'd completely transformed into Aloe - in the past it would've taken longer, but recently she'd become more used to it, and she'd been using it more often, so the Black Rose had become quicker when it came to transforming.

Wasting no time, Aloe wrapped herself inside her scarf, reappearing in front of Nathan. "Hey, there," she said coldly, letting the more hostile Black Rose take over her mind. She drew her blade in a quick silver flash and pointed it at Nathan. "Now, then, we could do this the easy way, or we could dig a hole six feet into the ground and drop you inside. Your choice."

Lancer had caught sight of the boot rocketing towards the window, and hit the ground underneath his table as quick as he could, barely avoiding a kick to the head. He clambered out from underneath the table, brushing dust and glass shards off his armour, and looked up. Another fucking glory-hound bounty hunter, great.
"Goddamn, I just can't escape you guys today..." he said, shaking his head.
'Fuck fighting this guy, I'm getting the hell out of here before his buddies catch up to me!' Lancer thought to himself, activating the "Invisibility" Demon Skill. He waved to the bounty hunter as he faded out of sight, and immediately darted for the door.
'More running...great.'

_____________________________

"Hello again, Mizu," Steel Knight, leaning forward a bit as he looked down at the little mage thing, "There probably isn't much time, so I'll get right down to it; it seems you've gotten yourself into a spot of bother, enough to warrant a fairly large bounty on your head, the equivalent of my annual salary. See, I've become a Bounty Hunter to help catch criminals, and I just can't bring myself to turn a little girl in, even if the little girl is apparently a thief and took part in the creation of illegal weapons. So, I figured I would just warn you to start moving about, lest you find yourself with years of jail time to work through or worse."

Steel Knight took a breath finally, and then continued. "I'm afraid you and your guardian won't be able to hold off any Bounty Hunters whilst staying here, so you'd do well to follow my advice and flee. There are several rather unsavory fellows amongst my hunter brethren who'd slit your throat on sight if it meant they had a few more coins to line their wallets with."
Another breath was taken, and Steel Knight turned to leave. "Be grateful that it was an old friend who found you first. I'll reiterate one last time: leave this place. Staying here will only bring harm to you and stress to your poor guardian, Luna. Besides, you'll be adventuring again, living a life of excitement once more, and by the looks of you, you really need it."

He glanced back at her, gave a quick military salute, and proceeded to walk away. He was probably in for a grilling back at the HQ, but he did not care. As long as he had helped out a friend in danger, he felt good.

((God it's so fun to write Steel Knight's dialogue again; now I just need him to drop a few Expodumps...))

Shy Guy Toybox

BAM

A large blue gargoyle-looking creature had walked up to the entrance to the round room. He propped up a large door in front of it, and then promptly let loose a floating jelly-like lougie of fire from his mouth, which smashed into the door. The two flaming halves of the door were thrown across the room, and the gargoyle sucked the lougie back into his mouth.

Name: Bubba
Alliance: Bounty Hunter
Gender: Male
Appearance: A gargoyle. He looks like he's made out of blue rock, and is crouching, but that's just the way he is. He has two tiny wings that look too small to carry his weight, and a longish face with a horn on the end just above his mouth, and a small spike on chin. He has threatening bright yellow eyes, big claws, and hoof-like feet.
Abilities:
- Dragon Lougie: A strange blob of fiery material floats out of his mouth. Looks like a huge lougie, hence the name, but made of gelly-like lava fire stuff. Bubba can control it's movements, and it seems to keep it's shape and can smash things like a solid, but it's jelly-like and burns everything it touches. Bubba can release up to three at a time, controlling them all separately.

"Evan," he said in a deep, gruff voice, looking at Evan, "Kyro," he turned his vision towards the shyguy of that name, "You're under arrest. Come quietly and there won't be any issue. Come noisily and there will be issues. Got it?"

In Front of Ayuburger

Nathan looked back, and saw Mint transform and disappear. He quickly looked forward, and stopped himself just before running into the parasitic goth. Teleporting? But that's an ADVANCED ninja move! Nathan thought, and jumped back. As Aloe drew her sword, he pulled his halberd out in front of him. He looked down, and her shadow was on the other side of her. Good.

His arm, it's not cursed anymore... Tatae thought, ... He's not a threat to everyone like before. Does he still need to be captured? There's the money, but he's mostly harmless right now. Huh.

"Ahem," came the voice of a young girl, over by the street corner where Nathan was originally. A shimmering white portal behind her closed, and it could be seen that a magnifying glass-looking thing was around her neck. "Flumen!" She shouted, pointing two palms, one at Nathan, and one at Aloe. Jets of water shot out of both, knocking away and dousing both people.

"Excuse me, is one of you named Nathan?" Aqua asked.

Nathan looked around nervously. His hat had been knocked off, revealing his face. A small device was hanging around his neck; four metal cords with a tiny circular speaker-looking thing. It was his voice transformer. "Ummm.... no," he said, "I'm Nate, not Nathan." Aqua looked at him disdainfully. What a paper-thin disguise.

Aki - May 16, 2009 03:28 PM (GMT)
"What do they want me for?" demanded Mizu. "I don't think I've done anything wrong, unless dimension hopping is somehow against the law."

"It doesn't matter, you heard him," said Luna, "your butt's in danger of getting captured, and anyway, yeah, he's kinda right, another adventure-type deal would definitely be good for you, you're looking a little flabby if I do say so myself." She poked Mizu in the belly. "It's like quicksand," she reported as her finger sank into the fat.

"Hey, I'm not THAT fat," grumbled Mizu. "But I see what he's getting at, unfortunately. Steel Knight, how long do you suppose we have left? We'll need to pack a few things before we get moving."

- - - - - - - - - - - - -

If Mint had been in control of her conscience, it might have mulled over Tatae's thoughts a bit and possibly even said he didn't need to be captured, but the Black Rose was more for finding an excuse to beat someone up. This is the target, right? Aloe projected to Tatae. They'll be less than amused if we come back empty-handed. But now they had another enemy to deal with, too. Just great. And this one looked proficient in water elemental magic, seeing as she had just knocked Aloe down. This could mean trouble. Water itself wasn't harmful, she knew, but propelled at a high velocity, it was actually rather lethal. Of course, her armor prevented her from wounds and such, but that didn't mean she couldn't get bruises from getting toppled over.

On second thought, I'm not sure if we can take these two. I don't think it's worth it.

((Mint = obviously good))
((Aloe = obviously evil))
((Although the Rose doesn't really take over Mint's mind like it can now until like the Tourney, so her personality is still the same when she transforms in ZEUS.))
((This is awfully weird, by the way, using ZEUS characters outside of ZEUS. In fact, this is Kirbyverse...))
((Which is kinda why this RP is badass - it takes like fifty different RPs and smashes em all together. Even the PDS series to an extent, as the fighting takes place outside of Ayuburger. I wouldn't be surprised if Yurik pops up out of nowhere, kills a Pseudoroid and gets sued with Skye Belu as his defense attorney.))
((Oh yeah and then a Swamp Damgra kills them all.))

((...Heh. Heh. HEEEEEEEEEEH))

((Also if I can't use the book in the way I used it in this post I'll just edit this.))

"How long? Well, I'd say you have a fair amount of time to pack up the essentials and get a good start on your journey. Until I report back to HQ, that is. Or if I take too long, either way. How long 'too long' is, though, is beyond me." Steel Knight aid, stopping and turning. "Just be quick, and only take what you absolutely need. I can wait for a bit before reporting back, to give you some time." he said.

"As for what you did..." Steel Knight continued, and he paused, his green eye vanishing briefly. The book he was given then tumbled through the slot in his visor, and the eye was back. He opened the book and thumbed through it, searching for Mizu's page.

"Let's see...currently, you are wanted for theft and your assistance in the creation of illegal weaponry. The bounty on your head is about the same size as a year of my salary, which is quite a lot," he said, and then adding, "and I guess when these books are updated, 'resisting capture/arrest' will be in here too." he said with a chuckle.

Aki - May 17, 2009 04:29 PM (GMT)
Mizu frowned. "I can't say I recall either of those, but if that's what they think, I don't suppose I could change their minds." She shook her head. "They just want an excuse to take people in that they don't like..." she muttered bitterly, but seemed to accept that she was, in their eyes, a convict.

"Alright, Luna, let's get packing," she said. "Thanks for everything, by the way," she added, nodding to the Steel Knight. "On the kitchen counter, there's a wallet with a fair amount of money in it, maybe enough to buy yourself a new sword. Take it. We won't be needing it anyway." She headed upstairs and returned a few minutes later with small pouch. It was a cloth messenger bag, something she had picked up in the human world. "Luna, this is my stuff. Get your stuff together and let's get out of here."

Aloe seemed to have convinced Tatae, for the most part. You're right. Even if he's mostly harmless, he's still caused the deaths of a lot of people. Besides, if it wasn't us, it would be another bounty hunter anyway, Tatae said. But Aloe's next statement shocked her.

WHAT!? She yelled, mentally. She poked her head out of the shadow just a bit, to see the new opponent that had arrived, and then slipped back in. Don't tell me a little girl who shot a little water at you turns the tide of this fight, mind the pun. I'm sure you can take a soggy, powerless Keke and a six-year-old. And besides, if we ever need a little more juice we have my silhouette form.

"Come on Nathan," Aqua said, "Get in the portal, unless you want to be arrested. Don't worry, I'm a friend of Vidar. You know him, right?"

"If by know you mean worked for and then killed, yes," Nathan said shamefully, but started jogging towards Aqua, his hat in his hand. His simirror disguise was now soaked, which made it even harder to run in than it was previously.

Yogurt Yard

A tiny shimmering portal opened up a couple yards away from Mizu's house. A chameleon walked out, dragging a large magnifying glass on a chain out with his mouth. Rizzy wished that he could have appeared inside of Mizu's house, instead of outside. During the months that Zyon was preparing the guild, she had him, Vidar, and Aqua visit some of the places the criminals Zyon wanted to be first in the guild would be when they were arrested, so they could use the portal charms to get there. They could only go where the user had been some time beforehand, which was an annoying limitation.

"Oh well, here I go," Rizzy said, in a high-pitched squeaky voice. "Stay," he said to the magnifying glass as he left it there, and started running towards Mizu's house. He saw Steel Knight was already there. "Mizu!" He said, "Don't trust that guy! He's a bounty hunter! Follow me, to the Guild of Noble Thieves! We're helping out people who are being wrongfully pursued by them Hunters!"

Name: Rizzy
Alliance: Guild
Gender: Male
Appearance: A chameleon.
Abilities:
- No Language Barrier: Because of magiiiic, Rizzy can speak fluently and understand any language he hears. He can also read and write any language he sees, understand sign language, interpret interpretive dance, decipher codes, etc.

Outside the Bar

A shimmering portal appeared outside of the bar that Lancer was currently sneaking out of. The Guild leader Zyon stepped out, and looked at the bar. "Where is he?" She said, looking into the bar, over the swinging doors. She didn't see him, because he was invisible of course. "I wonder how I'll get out of this one, Zyo~n," She said to herself, crossing her arms. The goggles of her helmet started to glow, as she looked a couple seconds into the future.

She saw herself looking a couple MORE seconds into the future.

"Right, no looking into the future to find out what you're going to do next, Zyo~n," Zyon said, disappointed, "Guess I'll do this the old fashioned way. LANCER! EVIL IX? Seriously who would name their kid that? LANCER!? The Guild of Noble Thieves requests your participation, Zyo~n!" She started yelling into the air, hoping to attract the attention of the demon guy.

((Just so you know, when Zyon sees the future, she sees what will happen provided she doesn't try to change it. So when she sees herself a couple seconds in the future, she sees herself still looking into the future because she hasn't realized that it's no used and hasn't tried to stop. Or however that makes sense.))

"I'm afraid I'll have to turn down the offer, I'm well off already." Steel Knight said, in regards to the money. Then he heard a rather squeaky fellow shouting from behind him. He turned to see...a chameleon. Thing. Erm, okay. "From the Guild Of Noble Thieves, you say? Well, that's an easy way to escape for a while." Steel Knight said, pondering. Sure, Mizu could escape capture with the Guild's help, but then she'd have to resort to thievery again, which would only further get her in trouble, and if he was reassigned to her capture, he wouldn't be able to just let her escape again...

"...Well, it will help you escape, but working in the Guild will only increase the bounty on your head and attract more bounty hunters...but, I can't stop you, so go if you want." he said.

_________________________

The Guild Of Noble Thieves, eh? He'd heard of that guild before, but had never considered joining it. He was always on the run, even now, so maybe the guild could actually help him? It was worth a shot...though he wasn't sure whether or not to trust the weird woman thing before him. Instead of turning visible again, he decided to call out to her first.

"The Guild, you say? And can you confirm that you're from the Guild?" Lancer called, still invisible.

Aki - May 18, 2009 01:42 PM (GMT)
Aloe shook off droplets of water. She thought about it. Water wasn't that threatening, it was just wet, right? Even if it did come at superfast speed, the worst it could do was knock her away, right? She could teleport. She could fire ranged attacks. She had a sword. Tatae was right, there wasn't anything to fear from this one, was there?

Aloe narrowed her eyes. "Alright, you had your fun, but I'm not gonna let you get away!" Aloe warped again, stationing herself in front of the portal. Tatae, you can fire Shadow Balls, right? she asked. Lob a few at our target and I'll take care of the girl with the water. Aloe instantly drew her gun. "Certainly you're aware of the fact that there are most likely certain metals in your body that conduct electricity, yes?" she asked, aiming a shot directly at Aqua's head.

((Technically water doesn't conduct electricity, rather, its high solubility allows it to dissolve metals that DO conduct electricity, which is why I find Pokemon rather strange - Water is weak to Electric, and yet, Steel is, as far as I know, not.))

"Er, well, he's a friend of mine..." said Mizu to the chameleon, sounding a little defeated. "A-anyway, how is a thief noble anyway? Don't thieves steal? I don't really see how that's noble, unless it's all like 'steal from the rich, give to the needy'. ...But you know... I... don't really have a plan..." And, to be honest, Mizu was planning on resorting to thievery anyway once she hit the road, considering she was already accused of it and that it probably wouldn't hurt to live up to that title, which was why she offered the wallet to the Steel Knight.

"Mizu, I really don't think this is a good idea..." said Luna, sounding concerned. "I mean, the Steel Knight is rig-"

"I know," said Mizu. "But do I have any other choices?"

"Trans-dimensional travel?" suggested Luna. "We could escape t-"

"No. Freaking. Way."

"Stay with Sora?"

"It'll only endanger her."

"Dig yourself a hole underground a-"

"I think I'm gonna start calling you Lunatic from now on," sighed Mizu. "I'm not a mole, you idiot!"

"Well, that's all I've got..."

Mizu sighed. "I don't think there's anyway we can stay under the radar without having to do something INSANE," she said, turning to glare at Luna on that last word. "But can I trust this guild?" Maybe that's what they mean by "noble"... she mused.

The city was a wreck. Buildings were smashed, pipes were smashed, everything a cruel shell of its former self. The Morgan Money Headquarters Building had literally sunken into the ground, with a gaping hole in the ground where it had been. The sewers below were a total disaster as well.

And in a distant corner of the sewers, something red glowed.

Outside Ayuburger

Yeah, but- Tatae was cut off, when Aloe attacked Aqua. She sighed, and raised stomach-high out of the shadow. She grabbed a shadow ball, but it was way heavy. She could barely lift it, and threw it two inches, now panting. Nathan raised an eye. Not too threatening. Tatae looked at Aloe shooting Aqua. "Careful, don't kill the kid!" Tatae said, not wanting the death of a little girl to live with.

Aqua couldn't move, paralyzed with fear, as an electric shot was fired at her head. Electricity. It hit her right between the eyes, and Aqua was launched back, screaming. On the pavement, she cringed and convulsed a little, and then lay limp, knocked unconscious by one shot of her weakness.

"Oooooh crap," Nathan said, looking at Aqua, who was his ticket out of here. His wet disguise was doing him no good, so he quickly cut it with his halberd and took it off. Luckily his clothes underneath were mostly dry. A red sleeveless shirt, blue jeans, and red tennis shoes. His hair was still pretty wet though.

Quickly observing the situation, he noticed the magnifying glass on Aqua's neck. It looked magical, it could've been what she used to make that portal. It was worth a shot. With his halberd ready, he ran towards Aqua, keeping his eyes on Aloe.

"Hurry up and get them both now," Tatae instructed coldly, and sunk back into Aloe's shadow. She was still feeling a bit guilty about arresting Nathan, who was harmless, and a little girl. But he's still killed a lot of people, and she tried to help him escape, Tatae thought, not remembering Aloe could hear her, We have to take them in.

Yogurt Yard

Rizzy listened to the conversation a bit. He piped in. "Please consider joining the guild," He said, "The knight fellow is correct, it'll increase your bounty. But you're already being hunter! Besides, we could really use you! The leader, Zyon, has discovered trouble brewing with the Bounty Hunters. We intend on rescuing wrongfully pursued criminals everywhere! But the portal charms we use are dependent on the user having already been to the location in question. Zyon knows about you, you've been to lots of places! We need you to help us in our mission. I can't force you, and time is of the essence, but please join us."

Outside The Bar

"Confirm?" Zyon asked. She hadn't anticipated this problem. Then again, she thought she'd bust in, yell, "Come with me if you want to live, Zyo~n!" and then run out. And maybe grab a beer or two.

"Well, I happen to be the leader, Zyo~n," She said, pointing one of her four thumbs at herself, "But... proof? Hmm. How about this portal charm?" She held up the magnifying glass hanging around her neck. "Let's you go wherever you've been before! Only the guild has 'em, Zyo~n. I think. Anyway, I don't think you can afford talking too long, can you? I predicted you would be captured half an hour from now, provided I don't intervene with the future. Besides, I have other people to save, y'know. I could just leave you here to fight Bounter Hunters all day, Zyo~n."

"Hey, what--", Nathan began, when he noticed Lancer had disappeared. "...Tsk, I can do this!" He took a small red sphere, about the size of a marble, and threw it up. He pointed at it, and quickly moved his hand up, like shoting. The marble then exploded in red paint, filling every single spot on the opposing side of the bar with red. Lancer was still nowhere to be found. "Oh well. Looks like he's gone." Nathan jumped down from the table he was standing on, and marched to the exit calmly. "Now where could he--", he started, then spotting Zyon a few feet ahead from himself. Recognising her, he shouted "Hey! You're Zyon, the leader of the Lawful Rogues or something! You're under arrest as well, stay st--" he bumped head-first to the invisible demon, and fell backwards, hitting his head on the floor. "--ouch", he muttered, passing out.

But you're already being hunter!

"Affirmative," grunted Aloe. No time to mess with teleportation now. It worked best if her head was clear, and right now it wasn't. Aloe took off running-

-and tripped.

She hit the ground, face-first, skidding a short distance and getting dust in her eyes. She cussed silently. If her prey got away from her because of her failure, she'd be pissed with herself. It only then occurred to her that since Nathan was already wet, she'd probably be fine if she tried to shoot him. Aloe fumbled with her gun for a second or two, found it, and fired a few unsteady shots.

Dammit, I've really screwed up this time, she thought bitterly.

"How does this Zyon person know about me?" asked Mizu, slightly curious. "As far as I know, I've never had any publicity, so unless you've been conversing with another little lizard buddy of yours named Vidar, why should you know about me?" That would give him a little something to worry about while Mizu thought about it. If these charms really did warp people to anywhere, as long as he or she had been there before, then she could potentially use her charm to warp back home if this turned out to be corrupt, given that the charms weren't rigged. Do I really want to do this?

Look, just make this easier for me so I can get a paycheck and not get killed, you know what I freaking mean?!" But of course it dawned on her that the human would most certainly not understand. And weren't all humans fat and lazy anyway?

"If you're going to make me do this the hard way, then don't blame me if you never wake up." Kindra said somewhat apologetically, and suddenly whipped out her Mirror Wand in front of her, sending several energy blasts at Hexor's head.

Nathan saw a couple shots fly towards him. Two of them missed, he blocked one with the head of his halberd, and one nearly hit his head and just made his hair stand on end. Not paying attention to it, Nathan finally got to Aqua, and grabbed the magnifying glass off her neck.

He shook it like an Etch-a-Sketch, waved it like a wand, and yelled at it. Nothing worked. "Ah dammit dammit dammit dammit dammit dammit," He stammered, and started shaking Aqua. She still wouldn't budge. Well, aside from Nathan budging her.

If you're gonna catch them, do it now and stop dawdling, or at least give ME the gun, Tatae instructed, I don't want to keep dragging this out...

Vidar was leaning against the desk, playing paddle ball with Aqua. "She doesn't have a FACE," Vidar pointed out, "Just google her, I'm sure you'll find something."

"She's a sushi bar in New York," Zyon said sadly, "Dammit!"

Zyon heard her name. Even though he got the name of the guild wrong, Zyon still appreciated the recognition. "Yay! He knows me!" Zyon said, clapping, "It's the Guild of Noble Thieves, by the way, but nice effort! See, Lancer? Even the Bounty Hunter knows me. Now get in the portal, or someone here is gonna have their ass kicked!"

"Well, you're not being so helpful yourself, why don't you throw those shadow ball things or whatever?" hissed Aloe, irritated. She had the sickening feeling that eventually they wouldn't be able to bring in either of them. Which was a shame. She took a couple more shots at Nathan.

Mizu had to admit it. She was beaten. She had no better options, whoever this "Zyon" person was knew all about her, and anyway, she knew Vidar, he was at least a half decent person, so she couldn't think of any excuse to not go. "Fine, fine, don't get your tail in a knot," said Mizu, gnashing her teeth. "I'll come, happy? Luna, don't worry about me, if you don't care to go, then so be it."

"...It's alright if I join her, right?" said Luna uncertainly.

"Well, however we're gonna do this, let's get it over with," said Mizu. "Steel Knight, thanks for everything, we're going." She turned to the chameleon. "Alright, Mr. Lizard, let's get rolling. Oh, yeah, what did you say your name was again?"

Nahtan decided that the only way to avoid everything that happened to be flying toward him at that moment was to duck and roll to his left under the boomerang. So he did just that. He then pulled himself up and ran as fast as he could away from the path of the missile-proof glass.

Then he whirled around and threw the bottle of gasoline at Kunrai and Garen, which then broke and drenched them in gasoline or something. This is something that you don't want to be drenched in near a guy with fire powers, by the way.

----

Samuel scratched his head. "You know, I'm not sure that was your intention. I mean, I know stuff has changed after all of these years, but if the place you're going to was a happy one, they sure wouldn't send criminals to it, and if you wanted to be caught, you wouldn't be hiding in here. Therefore, I think I'll put these handcuffs on you. Like, right now." He pulled out some handcuffs and a large gun connected to and powered by a bulky steam boiler. "Now, how about you just stand there and don't make any sudden movements? That is, unless you want me to use this on you. Because I can tell that you must be planning something!"

Tatae caught Aloe's feeling, that they wouldn't capture either Nathan nor Aqua. But she didn't understand the reason behind it. What the heck are you talking about? She asked, You haven't been yourself lately, Aloe. Nathan used to be a, well, sort of, friend of mine, and I'm not totally apt for capturing a little kid either, so I'm counting on you to be the heartless one here. Don't flake out on me now when we're so close to the goal of capturing Nathan! We nab him, and we both live like queens for the rest of our lives. Doesn't that sound good?

Erm, anyway, just get him in my shadow, I'll catch him, Tatae instructed.

Nathan looked at Aloe, who started shooting back at him. One shot missed, which was what alerted him. He grabbed his halberd and started running away from Aqua, who he knew wasn't going to be much use to him unconscious. He managed to block another shot with his halberd, but the last one hit him in the chest. Nathan flew back, shaking, but not knocked out.

"Getting my tail in a knot would be horrible!" Rizzy exclaimed, "Anyway, my name is Rizzy. And the Angie can come as well. I don't know anything about her, but I'm sure she can be trusted, right?

"Anyway, I left the portal charm over here, follow me!" Rizzy started running across the ground. The magnifying glass was still on the ground where he left it. Good. He stepped on the handle, and a light shot out of the glass. It formed a circular shimmering portal, large enough for Mizu and Luna to enter, leading to the Guild of Noble Thieves.

"AACK!" Yelled Kunrai as she was thrown off the sheet of glass, now covered in gasoline. Garen quickly closed the visor to his armor, causing gasoline to (mostly) harmlessly splash on him. He jumped off the glass before it crashed into a pile of junk.

"Ew, I got gasoline in my eyes!" Kunrai yelled, squirming.

"It smells too," Garen said, picking up the boomerang and sticking it in his helmet, and giving Kunrai her fountain pen back. Knowing that she wouldn't be much use without them, Garen took the liberty of wiping off her glasses.

"Hey, don't touch me," Kunrai protested, "Anyway, I at least got his reaction speed from that move he pulled. Waaaaay slower than mine. His fire attacks won't matter-"

"-If he can't hit us," Garen completed the sentence, grabbing his boomerang in preparation. They waiting for Nahtan to make the first move.

You jerk, shut up, my conscience is perfectly tainted, thank you very much, grunted Aloe. They had a mission. A mission was no time to get distracted by that fluffy stuff like love and care and whatever the hell her alter ego was into. "Alright, let's try this again!" Aloe seized Nathan from behind and attempted to hold him still while she turned and placed her shadow over him.

"Is that so?" said Mizu. "Alright, then, Luna, you first." She shoved Luna into the portal, then followed after her.

((I don't know what else to say so I'll leave it at that.))

((What? oh yeah, this RP...))

Evan stared at the giant blue gargoyle, his eyes wide in fear. "Kyro, I didn't think we'd get caught..." He whispered to Kyro. Kyro put his book away and already had a plan. "We aren't getting caught, Evan. Get him to stand around that yellow tole near the center, I have a plan."
"Okay Kyro" Evan said, determination in his voice. He ran over in front of the yellow tile and yelled, "If you wanna ever get me, you'll have to grab me!"
That's when Kyro got out his trusty and really strong rope. He made a lasso and tied it around the cylinder block on top of the block tower. If this didn't work, Kyro smiled as he looked at the Power Plus badge he just stole from Anti-Guy, he had a backup plan.
