Port Mercer began as a quaint, bustling port on the east coast of Georgia... quaint, besides its tendency to attract the wrong kind of attention. It was common knowledge that the docks, along with various establishments downtown, were infested with pirates. But something drove them out of their safe harbour and the town was left to languish for nearly a century, something the few townsfolk that remembered did not speak of.

Most from the neighbouring cities were still afraid to settle there, even with the pirates long gone. Then came the civil war, bringing it back to life- at a price. The town's strange reputation resurfaced once more, however this time it was from the talk of ghosts instead.

But prosperity was not to shine over Port Mercer forever. It was eventually overshadowed by the neighbouring town of Savannah, and fell into obscurity once more.

The Stone twins have finally managed to get away. Both sick of living in their NASCAR legend dad’s shadow, and with no escape amongst their ever expanding maternal side of the family in Bayside Vista, Jake and Liam think they’ve finally found their haven at boarding school. With best friend Bailey in tow, they’re ready to take Port Mercer by storm.
The younger of the two, Jake is the “brooding soul”, as dubbed by his mother. He’s quiet, and can almost always be found with his messenger bag full of books and Sharpies. He only wears white shoes, which he then decorates, and has his oversize black jacket with him 10 months out of the year. You’ll love him once you know him, but he’s not the one to extend the first greeting.
