Port Mercer began as a quaint, bustling port on the east coast of Georgia... quaint, besides its tendency to attract the wrong kind of attention. It was common knowledge that the docks, along with various establishments downtown, were infested with pirates. But something drove them out of their safe harbour and the town was left to languish for nearly a century, something the few townsfolk that remembered did not speak of.

Most from the neighbouring cities were still afraid to settle there, even with the pirates long gone. Then came the civil war, bringing it back to life- at a price. The town's strange reputation resurfaced once more, however this time it was from the talk of ghosts instead.

But prosperity was not to shine over Port Mercer forever. It was eventually overshadowed by the neighbouring town of Savannah, and fell into obscurity once more.

. The Von Wöhler House
Owned by: Mathieu and Arabella Von Wöhler
Huge, old, victorian mansion. The only one on Candler Oak. The beautiful home is being inhabited for the first time even though it's been here a while, or has it?

. Abandoned Munitions Plant
A small munitions factory built and later abandoned during the Civil War, along with much of Cedarhurst. Even the area's revival in the 1900s failed to attract any interest in the abandoned old factory.

. Fairgrove Cemetery
After our time here on earth has ended we always hope that our bodies can rest eternally in a calm, safe enviornment. At Fairgrove that is our goal for the deceased. We maintain our gardens and give you a lovely surrounding to lighten a sad situation.
