[Maddy]

Maddy clanked her heel strapped feet into the shop with book in hand and sunglasses in other. Despite the weather, she still wore her flowing, yellow sundress. As she moved up to the counter she took a nice whiff of the delicious mixtures of scents. The little shop seemed like a nice place to just relax until the rain outside stopped, and she wasn't much of a Starbucks drinker in the first place.

She placed her hands flat on the counter and peered over to the selection of cupcakes, taking her merry time deciding which one she wanted.

[Malin]

Malin was doing the same too! She would have been ridiculously under-dressed for the weather in a tank top, cardigan and pair of shorts if it weren't for her knee-high boots.

"Hmmmmm," she hummed aloud to herself as she leaned over the counter and looked down into the plates of cupcakes. Which ones? She wanted to buy a whole box and bring them home for her and Helene.

[Maddy]

There was chocolate with vanilla frosting, vanilla with chocolate frosting, somethin that looked like strawberry with a banana flavor, sprinkles or no sprinkles...There was so many...

"Ahh." Maddy complained, frowning and turning to the girl next to her. Her eyes strayed up and down her figure descreetly before pointing to a cupcake that had a cute candy faced dog on it. "Do you think that one would taste good, or it just fools you with it's appearence?"

[Malin]

"They all look pretty good to me, but I like the color on this one," Malin said and pointed at one covered in blue icing and white sprinkles. "The one with the sprinkes...oh wait, I think that's coconut. Cooool," she grinned asked the lady to put two in a box for her. What else? There was a pretty vanilla one with chocolate frosting in all kinds of colors too. Hmmm.

[Maddy]

"I'm more of a fan of berries.." she tapped her chin and narrowed her eyes, on the hunt. Pink, white, brown, brown, blue and red frosting on the scattered assortment.

"Oh! That one!" she waved her finger frantically at the one with the purple frosting, "Can I get that one anddd.." she bit her cheek, "Which other one?"

[Malin]

"Buttercup, I like the sound of that," Malin said and pointed at one made of marble cake and covered in peanut butter butter cream and little chocolate chips. Well, that was what the label said. "I'm getting two of those," she added aloud and asked the lady at the counter to put them in the same box. Needed two more...

[Maddy]

"Having a baking party or something and cheating your way out of cooking?" Maddy joked to Malin. She pointed to another cupcake for the woman behind the counter to fetch. That one had a chocolate chip inside with some sort of whip cream topping and broken up cookies on it. Maddy pulled out some cash from underneath the padding of her bra and waited for the two to be placed on little plates. While waiting she turned to see what else Malin got, wondering if the buttercream one tasted as good as it looked.

[Malin]

It probably did. Malin liked just about anything covered in sugar. Then something caught her attention- the girl had just reached into her bra for money! "Do you keep your wallet in there?" she laughed to her quietly as she asked for another pair of cupcakes, this time covered in pink buttercream.

[Maddy]

Maddy was the same way, though eating too much sugar in one day always made her stomach ache the day after. She grinned at the question and leaned her hip against the counter, shrugging.

"Just about! I don't have any pocket books or any of that stuff so, why not?" she tapped her left boob in reassurance that her cash was there and laughed.

[Malin]

Ah. That was a good idea. But Malin didn't think Helene would approve at all, keeping stuff in her bra. Especially when they had to do the laundry, Malin was sure she'd forget at least once, and it'd be awkward finding cash in there.

"That's nice," she grinned in reply. "But...these are just for me and my sis, but you're right about me being unable to cook. What about you? Who are you getting those for? Just you?"

[Maddy]

If Maddy ever had a sister, and she somehow found her money in the wash, her sister would probably take it that she worked on some corner or something... But luckily she didn't!

"Yes ma'am, me myself and I." she nodded, handing the money to the lady. "I can cook a mean mac and cheese, but that's as far as I can get without burning anything.." she frowned at her unskillful self. Oh well, that's why there's restaurants.

[Malin]

Malin would have agreed. Cooking just...wasn't her thing. Eating, on the other hand, she liked. Very much, to the point where she'd scare strangers from time to time.

"Oh, so you live alone?" Malin asked the girl with a raised eyebrow.
