She smirked curiously. Wondering what exactly he was about to attempt as she followed his eyes down to the bald man. She then looked back to Colton, anxiously awaiting his action.
"Nope, the honors all yours" she said grinning, flirting with her eyes as she nonchalantly moved a little closer to him.

"Ah. A chicken." He said, looking unamusedly surprised and shaking his head before leaning over the railing and aiming the book to land just right infront of the man's head. Not close enough to hit him but close enough to scare the shit out of him. He closed one eye and stuck his tongue out the side of his mouth, held his breath and dropped it.

Within a second the book made a loud thud and Colton's eyes widened as if he was actually surprised at himself, he grabbed Brynne around the waist and they both dropped to the red carpeted flooring, as if not to be seen. He held his index finger up to his lips and slid closer to the edge to see the man looking around for where it had come from, not noticing Colton peering down. He winked at Brynne. "Your turn."

Brynn watched him with anticipation as he aimed, wondering if he was going for his head or the empty spot in front on him. Laughing at his odd expression.
Brynn heard the loud noise disrupting the once silence room, but before she was able to see the mans reaction. Colton's arm wrapped around her small waist causing a slight tingle in the pit of her stomach. All in one swift movement the two went to the ground out of sight. She watched his finger towards his lips as he signed to her to be quiet and leaned to the edge. She followed behind him still crouched to the ground, as she watched the man look around for the culprit. Placing her hand over her mouth to muffle the laugh that was ensuing.
Her laugh paused when he said your turn, fear mixed with excitement. "Um.. ok" she said. As she crawled over to the shelf picking out a nice sized book, once she freed it from the shelf. She slowly stood up and walked to the railing. The bald man had moved away. To far from her throw not to mention, she was horrible aim.
She then looked down "Eureka" she said softly as she saw a unsuspecting person right next to the stairway on the floor below. She simply dropped the book planning for it to hit the ground next to the person, but as luck would have it the person moved to the left just in time for the book to collide with their skull.
"Shit" she said a little to loud before moving quickly , but not smoothly hitting the ground and shuffling to the back by the shelf. "I hit someone" she said her eye wide with worry.

"What!?" He whispered sharply, hanging onto her shoulder as he looked over to see the person who got hit in the head seriously angry and heading toward the stairs. "Shit shit shit!" He said quickly, getting on his feet, and pulling her up too. "We have to go, NOW!" He said quickly and cautiously.

He tugged at her arm and started bolting down the stairs and to the door.

Fear spread across her face, as she watched his reaction. She felt so stupid, if someone has to ruin the fun she'll be the one she thought.
He quickly grabbed her arm and haled ass to the door, she followed running as swiftly as she could bolting through the doors right past the woman she pelted with the book, looking only foward as not to make any eye contact. Her face beat red.

"Oh I haven't had some since the last time we shared a packet..." he smiled gravely as if the m&m's symbolized his past life, as did she. It saddened him that the innocent youth was fading slowly and he wanted it all back.

She frowned playfully at him, nudging him with her shoulder.
"Thats terrible! A life without sugar coated chocolate is a life half lived!", laughing quietly to herself.
"We must remedy this! I don't have any on me but I'm sure they're sold somewhere around here!"
Then looking up at him she noticed sad expression and stopped bouncing around.
"Are you okay?"

Natalya shook her head as she walked through the Downtown of Port Mercer. She still could not believe that her parents had sent her here of all places. Granted, she wasn't completely opposed, but she certainly wasn't too keen on going to boarding school. She was happy going to her school back in New York, but, of course, since Natalya had to become a doctor or a lawyer or whatever her parents considered to be "real" occupations, she was shipped off to Georgia.

Thunder rolled lazily through the clouds above Natalya as she treaded on. She wasn't really sure where she was going, but she didn't want to stay at that school all day, that was for sure. The place had an aura that just gave her the chills; not to mention, Natalya wanted to see something that would give her some kind of inspiration.

As Natalya walked she stared above her, gazing lazily at the signs that passed overhead. She stopped as she spotted one that said "Gwendolyn's" on it. This looks interesting, she thought as she peered through the window. Another soft drone of thunder hit her ears, and she felt a drop of rain hit the tip of her nose. Well, I guess this is where I'm going, Natalya thought as she went inside.

It was a glorious place, with the vaulted ceilings and the superb staircase that wound around the place like a vintage ribbon. She stepped in, obviously looking around in awe as she walked over to one of the book cases that completely covered the walls. She let her fingers slide over the bindings and read the titles until she spotted one she thought was interesting. She slipped the book from its place and, after sitting cross-legged right where she had been standing, opened the book to a random page and began to read.

He had arrived yesterday, was in need of a place to stay, but not bothered at the moment with that. Giovanni had put his things on stop until he called for them, that would be whenever he wanted to get settled. He was easy-going, a man who went with the flow, some called him a pushover, but that was because he rather not argue over pity topics and rivalry.

It had been one hour and twenty-three minutes since he entered Gwendolyn's. First he stopped in the cafe, but just dawdled like a lazy penguin, moving around, noting it wasn't as full, but wasn't cozy enough to relax. He liked peace, as in quietness. So this place had a level of it. Maybe he rather be back in England in his studio, but he sold the place and stocked up to travel to the states after his boring divorce. His parents didn't understand the reason, and he didn't want to explain it either.

The dark brunet stood at six foot-two and well built from years of dancing, it was much more then gentle steps and graceful moves, it was an exercise for the body. He ran a hand through his slicked back hair, the little showers earlier when he was out had made it wet, so he didn't care to style it like the guys did today.

Giovanni glanced at the books in front of him, he wanted a read worth his time. But most books were, he was just being picky today. His eyes scanned the long rows of the covers, some misplaced, upside down, not in alphabetical order correctly. He was somewhat amazed at the astonishing decor earlier, it was really grand. He breathed out, an artificial lazy sigh.

When he came to the area he had been looking for, someone had snagged the book before it and standing there immersed in the book. He didn't speak much, and when he did he was sometimes agitated at some of these Americans. They would try to imitate his British accent, but who wouldn't want to try something new? He spoke abruptly, hoping to break her out of the binding book reading, "Excuse me." His voice was low and deep, if not raw. His eyes went from her to the book case she stood in front of. He wasn't as rude as to reach over and grab the book.

Natalya's mind was tumbling through a haphazard dreamworld, the wonderful imagery and extensive metaphors making her heart flutter with delight. The author's imagination was so potent, so fluid and unbelievable. Natalya had only been reading for a moment but already she envied the author's talent, his skill with words and his talent that allowed him to simply turn a phrase in a fleeting moment.

As she paused over a particular line, however, she noticed a shadow being cast over the bookcases. "Excuse me," an accented voice inquired, and immediatly she snapped the book she was holding shut, now fully aware at the presence of the 6'2" brown haired man hovering above her. Natalya looked up at the man, feeling her cheeks become hot as she realized she was in the man's way. She always had a tendency to do things like this, simply forgetting the presence of other people around her. She would become so absorbed in something that almost nothing could break her concentration on it.

Natalya stood up quickly, nearly losing her balance but thankfully using the edge of one of the bookcases to regain it, and, after giving a weak and embarassed smile, tried to speak. "I'm s-so sorry," she somewhat chuckled awkwardly, still in a slight state of shock. She moved away from the bookcase, hoping the man didn't think she was a complete nutcase from her wonderful display of agility in the few moments earlier. I wish I could find a real seat in this place, she thought, grasping the book she had been enamored with a few moments ago as she looked about the place.

Natalya looked back at the man who was still standing at the bookshelf and wondered if he might know his way around here any better than she did. She supposed it couldn't hurt to ask, though she was a bit disheartened about his nativity to Georgia simply because of his accent. Oh well, worth a shot. "Hey," she said light-heartedly, her weak grin back on her lips again, "d-do you know of any place to sit around here?"

His emerald eyes glanced over her, she was young, as he could tell. Actually he wouldn't know if he could say rather cute or attractive, but it wasn't really what he wanted to be thinking about. His desire to be aware of pretty things, was really not there. He thought things were beautiful, but had no sense of what to call this and that out. He shrugged in his thoughts, wondering why he was inquiring so much about the other.

"It's fine and thank you." He replied with a nod and his long arm reached for the book he had sought on the Internet a few times, but never took action to go out and look for it. Giovanni opened it in his hands, filing through the pages swiftly, stopping here and there. He flipped the hardback over and read the back in his head. A tale of philosophy, no romance entailed, and death is a definite. Great.

His concentration was on the book, until the girl from a moment ago spoke up. He noticed her weak smile has she called for his attention, he lifted his dark brows in question to her as he eyed her. Did he know of anywhere to sit around her?, Well he thought to himself shortly, glimpsed over her again, he had noticed where she had been reading in the book, somewhere amongst the middle. And that meant she had just plucked it and began gander at the words, so she had just arrived her, unlike he who had wondered around aimlessly for an hour or so.

Giovanni was piqued at her stutter, maybe it was because she was nervous? He didn't know why, and if she thought he might be some over the sea weirdo, that would be sad. He didn't want to put off that kind of aura. Or she was shy. Either way, he answered. "There are seats in the cafe across from here, or I think you can sit anywhere in here." Obviously this place was just a squat for anyone, of course it was a very nice architectural structure, but a bit over used and stack with books. "But the floor might be a tad dingy."

Natalya had to admit, even coming from an city the size of New York, that she was not very proficient at speaking with people she did not know. Sure, she could ramble off about things that didn't matter at all to people she was comfortable with, but when it came to approaching a stranger she was stiff as a board and made it seem as if she had not personality at all. At the moment she couldn't even think of the reason she actually tried to continue talking to the man she had been blocking, even if it was only a simple question. Granted, it wasn't that anything about him was appauling, but generally she would have just walked away and found another spot to read in. Maybe it was just that she had lacked conversation with people for around the past 24 hours.

Whatever it was, it was nice to hear his humorous reply to Natalya's question, and she provided a genuine chuckle. "I noticed that, yeah..." She nodded her head and looked over her shoulder, surveying the ground floor and seeing one or two people sitting on the floor around the place. Natalya redirected her gaze to the man and smiled, sort of wishing that she had more to talk to him about or could maybe could even aquaint with him. Unfortunately, her mind had just remembered the compelling nature of the book that she held in her hands.

Natalya sort of lifted her arm as a reference to the book she was holding and shrugged. "Well, thank you. I think I'll go and try to read a bit more." She gripped the book tightly, trying to think of something more to say. "I hope you enjoy your book." Feeling like she had made a complete fool of herself, Natalya gave another quick nod, turning on her heel and heading towards the large staircase. She stepped up the staircase and arrived at the second level, finding a place near a portion of the banisters and sitting down with her back against them. After looking down to the ground level and spotting the man she had been talking to, she looked to the book she was holding, opening back up the novel and immersing herself in its words once again.

Tate smiled wanly, feeling his heart warming at her enthusiastic laughter. "Well, not recently. Haven't thought about M&M's until I saw you, to be honest." He led her toward the cafe, the aroma of smoked hazelnuts tickling his nostrils.

Nora walked into the bookshop. She didn't read hardly ever but this was the first opportunity she had had to sneak away from school in at least a month and this was around the area where the taxi that she had taken had reached her spending limit she would allot for the ride up here. The seemingly small shop from the outside looked old and unnecessarily cramped but inside it was fairly spacious and full of rich red carpeting and shiny wood finishings. Nora spun around, glancing at the ceiling that was holding a lighting fixture with small writing engraved around the sides that was difficult to read from this perspective.

She felt herself getting nauseous from trying to spin and read at the same time and looked back to the room to find that stern middle aged bookish types that frequented Gwendolyns were staring her down and grumbling under their breath at her disruptance. She shot them all sharp looks back and purposefully walked down a row of books noisily to stir more agitations.

Chris liked to think he lived a life of no regret but after almost 72 straight hours of no sleep there was no running from the fact that his actions before he had boarded the plane to his new home had not been his cleverest. Wanting to make the most of his freedom before he was subjected to whatever harsh and ghastly rules this new boarding school applied, (he could imagine it now, in bed by 11pm, up at 6am, no smoking, no drinking God, the horror...) he had spent the last days in England partying his ass off, making sure he was completely off his face at all times, reasoning that he could sleep it off his inevitable hangover on the plane and continue the minute he got to this new fancy school.

That hadn't happened though. Chris' flight had been packed and to begin his punishment, he'd been made to fly economy. It wasn't that he was used to flying first class but if his parents were willing to dish out all of that money on this first class school, then a couple extra on a first class flight was not much to ask for. So he had tossed and turned for the entirety of the flight, amazingly managing not to be sick when the turbulence kicked in and when he landed, the painful realization that the time difference meant it had only just gone noon because of the time difference was almost enough to make Chris bawl. He felt awful. He probably looked it too. Flattened hair, dark sunken eyes, he was sweaty too. There was a breeze in the air and Chris wasn't overdressed for the weather, dressed casually in dark blue skinnies, a t-shirt, a light gray hoodie and vans yet he still felt like he was in oven dressed in a fur coat. Regardless, trudged on, reasoning he should use this time wisely before he hibernated to recoup from his drunken shenanigans.

After buying a cup of strong black coffee and swallowing half a dozen pep pills, Chris was feeling slightly less shit, not quite human but thankfully more alert. It didn't take him long to figure out that this town wasn't too different from the one he had left behind in England, he couldn't decide whether that was comforting or frustrating. There were certain things he'd need to find to make this place bearable, he decided. A dealer was at the top of his list, the scummy shop every town had that had no problem selling alcohol to a 5 year old as long as their money was right, somewhere to disappear off to like an abandoned house or something should he need to, a tattooist and of course a beach. A book shop caught his eye randomly. Chris wasn't much of a recreational reader but he wasn't up for walking too long and figured they'd probably sell maps that could help him track down said places. Chris picked up a map off a shelf and sat down to see if it was worth parting with cruel amount of allowance he'd been given. The comfy chair, the darkness of the bookshop, teamed with the smell of decaying books and his initial tiredness were too much for his pep pills and before he knew it, Chris was fully reclined, snoring lightly, drooling just a little bit much to the dismay of the clientele around him but their stern looks and tutting were sure as hell not going to wake him up. It seemed a raven haired beauty could though. With a whimper, Chris managed to struggle into an upright position.
"Shut the fuck up! Some of us are trying to pass out around here..." He muttered irritably before resting his head back on the arm of the little loveseat that had claimed as his own. Pretty or not, he was exhausted and even if this wasn't exactly a place designated for him to sleep in, he doubted there was anyone big enough to kick him out.
