Kitchen

[Davis]

Remolded to have a more modern cozy kitchen feel. But keeping the authentic fire pit, and simply placing the stove over the baked ground. The large clock brought over seas from one of Felix adventure.

[Inez]

With her on linked with Kat's, she walked into the kitchen, obviously amazed by the site of it. It was well decorated, and clean, spotless like. Inez peered around and spotted the fridge, she hoped the owners wouldn't mind. Inez fidgeted slightly, as she set her drink on the island in the middle of the kitchen. "They shouldn't mind, much, yes?" She said, pointing to the fridge, before looking at Kat. Unless the limes were elsewhere. But she just didn't like snooping, maybe because as a teen she had once and was caught, terrified.

[Katharina]

Kat bit her bottom lip and scoped the room. Hmm, if I was a lime where would I be She brought her hand up to her face, tapping her finger on her lip. She glanced at a bowl with fruit and veggies. She pounced at it, then frowned when they weren't there. She glanced up as Inez spoke. "Fridge? Yes. We shall peer in." She skipped over to the fridge, and opened it in aw. "Woaah, Lot's of stuff." She giggled as she glanced at the all non open product. She rummaged through and went to the crisper. "EEE! Success!" She squealed and with lime in hand she raised it in triumph.

[Nathan]

Luckily for him he was right about there only being two people in the kitchen, but Nathan wasn't sure if he should intrude. Instead he just stayed aside after giving them both quick smiles of acknowledgement and pretended to look for drinks on the counter, except he really couldn't drink at all. Hah.

[Katharina]

Kat swung around and bounced over to the island where she placed her drink before the adventure began. She pulled open a few drawers looking for a knife to cut up the lime. It would be better to do this now, before a couple drinks later, and Kats without a thumb.

"Ah ha! Found you." She pulls the knife up and out of the drawer. She smiled as a new comer entered the kitchen. With knife still in hand she waved at him. "Hi! I'm Katharina! This is Inez.." Using the knife she pointed at the brunette beside her.

[Nathan]

"Hi," Nathan smiled a little too widely and held his hand out for the girl while looking back at the more quiet one. "I'm Nathan...so you guys go to Wensbrook too?"

[Katharina]

Kat reached her hand out, but quickly realizing she was still holding the knife. She giggled and put it down on the counter. She stuck out her hand and shook his. "Yupp, I'm new. I am exchange. You a freshman like me too?"

[Nathan]

"Well, I'm 16," Nathan nodded in return. What was a freshman in Canada? Was it like grade 9 or something? He assumed it was. "So a year older I guess? Not sure how that works," he replied.

"So you know anyone else at the party?" he asked.

[Katharina]

Kat nodded as she cut the lime in half and squeezed the juice into her drink. She pushed her hair out of her eyes and looked up at Nathan. "Uhm not really no. I know boy with longer hair. His name Spence." She shrugged and took a sip of her drink. Mmm. The lime made it so much better. "I new remember. That why I'm here. To mingle." As she said mingle, she wiggled her fingers. Bringing her cup back up to her mouth, to take another sip, she giggled into the cup.

[Nathan]

Nathan couldn't help but smile again, this Katharina was quite amusing. "Longer hair? Like longer than mine?" he asked, surprised and trying to push a few strands off his face. He just didn't feel like getting it cut yet.

"I only know...well, you two and my roommate," he shrugged.

[Katharina]

Her mouth fell open, and she gasped. "Yes, I think it is." She giggled again as she scrunched her brow, as if to tease him. She brushed her fingers through her hair, and took another sip. "Roommate? Ahh, who is he? I have two roommates. But we've never met." She shrugged her shoulder, and laughed at how bizarre that sounded. "I just switched from being with a family to living in the dorm."

[Inez]

Inez gave a small smile, her eyes glancing when Kat introduced her to the other. With a knife. It looked like a scene out of those stupid horror movies almost, until Kat cut the lime and squeezed it in her drink. Mostly Inez nodded to every question, Kat being the voice right now, her apparently dropped to the floor. She lifted her drink to her lips and sipped it. Hoping it would relax her tension.

They were all new. Inez looked curiously over her cup at him, he had mentioned his name and age and he seemed nice, Inez didn't feel imtimidated, like she had when by the Spence guy and the woman.

[Nathan]

"Oh, my roommate's Seth," Nathan replied, then agreed "Yeah, I used to live with relatives too, a whole lot of them." But he liked the dorm and all the privacy...

"Are you a freshman too?" he asked Inez.

[Katharina]

Kat glanced over to Inez, woah she was being quiet she almost forgot she was still here. She giggled and gave Inez a little nudge with the elbow. "You forgot how to talk?" She teased, she took another sip of her drink. "No, no. Not my family. Like the exchange family. But they too weird. So I asked for a change. They gave me the option of dorm instead. So.." She shrugged. "..is your roomie here?" Kat quickly glanced around the room, and then peered into the living room where everyone else was.

[Inez]

She scoffed at the nudge Kat gave her and then glanced in an almost glare at the girl before sighing and looking at Nathan. No, she hadn't forgotten to talk...more like her voice had escaped her or were taken away.

"Uh, no, I'm a senior." She replied, even though she did not look like one, Inez thought inwardly at herself. Inez would've disagreed, she liked her home, she guessed it was because her brother weren't living with her and that it was usually only her mother and her, so it was peaceful and not awkward.

[Katharina]

Kat giggled in her cup as she saw the glare from the corner of her eye. After she took another sip she placed the cup down on the counter and squeezed more lime into it. Then swishing the drink around. "Inez you live at home? Or at dorm?"

[Inez]

"In the dorm," She responded to Kat's inquiry, "I was...uh, forced." She grinned ironicly. Inez was pushed out of the house and forced to live somewhere else, the dorm was the next place she asummed. It was only until the school life was over and then she could go on. "Yep.." She uttered to herself and sipped her drink.

[Seth]

Seth sauntered in smoothly darting through the door, unnoticed. He didn’t want to make small talk with the host. He wanted to party, nothing more nothing less. He hadn’t been to a good one, since he arrived in Port Mercer. So, he expected a lot out of this one. Eyeing the surrounds, face disappointed not finding anything of interest. He parted unseen from the group, into the kitchen hoping to find something decent to drink.

Until…. wait there it was. One of the things he was hoping to find. There was Nathan standing in the kitchen. Seth grinned, and leaned against a wall slyly waiting for Nathan to notice him.

[Nathan]

"Oh, forced? That doesn't sound too nice...Seth?" Nathan said to the girls and then turned around as he heard someone come in. Really, he didn't even see who it was, just wishful thinking. Luckily for him he was right, it would have been kind of embarrasing if he wasn't. "Having fun?" he asked Seth randomly, not sure of what to ask. But he had to say something.

[Seth]

Seth still leaning against the wall his grin turning into a smile, as Nathan spoke to him. "I am now" he replied, as he pushed himself from the wall and walked towards Nathan. As Seth approached he gave the girls a quick nod of acknowledgment. And just as quickly looked back to Nathan. "Kinda surprised to see you here, didn't see you as much party boy" he said playfully to Nathan.

"Not that I'm not happy to see you here" he said doing that think with his eyes, again.
