Port Mercer began as a quaint, bustling port on the east coast of Georgia... quaint, besides its tendency to attract the wrong kind of attention. It was common knowledge that the docks, along with various establishments downtown, were infested with pirates. But something drove them out of their safe harbour and the town was left to languish for nearly a century, something the few townsfolk that remembered did not speak of.
Most from the neighbouring cities were still afraid to settle there, even with the pirates long gone. Then came the civil war, bringing it back to life- at a price. The town's strange reputation resurfaced once more, however this time it was from the talk of ghosts instead.
But prosperity was not to shine over Port Mercer forever. It was eventually overshadowed by the neighbouring town of Savannah, and fell into obscurity once more.

Empty Shop An empty store no one seems to want to rent. It's been like this for a few months, with only a very loose lock hanging on the flimsy door. Even a few of the old general store's products have been left behind.

Cupcakes Cupcake, aptly named given its strongest selling product, is the highlight of this street, its pink canopies and cupcake beacon-like drawing acting as a signal to draw in hungry customers from all around Port Mercer. Why not stop in and treat yourself to one of Cupcake's original baked delights?
