Port Mercer began as a quaint, bustling port on the east coast of Georgia... quaint, besides its tendency to attract the wrong kind of attention. It was common knowledge that the docks, along with various establishments downtown, were infested with pirates. But something drove them out of their safe harbour and the town was left to languish for nearly a century, something the few townsfolk that remembered did not speak of.

Most from the neighbouring cities were still afraid to settle there, even with the pirates long gone. Then came the civil war, bringing it back to life- at a price. The town's strange reputation resurfaced once more, however this time it was from the talk of ghosts instead.

But prosperity was not to shine over Port Mercer forever. It was eventually overshadowed by the neighbouring town of Savannah, and fell into obscurity once more.

It's the first thing you see if you drive in, usually the second or third thing you see if you've arrived any other way. It's kind of a big deal.

. Southeast Boulevard
The most modern part of town with a variety of bars, restaurants and clubs, although the traditional exteriors of most buildings have been left untouched, resulting in an interesting contrast between the two sides of Port Mercer.

A lively street, which, despite it's modern stores, dates back to the late 1800s'. It has recently become home to a top model agency as well.

Or more commonly known as Port Mercer's twenty-four hour entertainment district. Although not all of it is exactly family-friendly, it has a lot to offer and holds countless performances throughout the year.

. Greene Way [QUARANTINED AREA]
This residential street was named after the surprisingly lush plant life found in this developed part of town, and has all the charm of the town's historic mansions (minus the size).

Doctors offices all placed within this one building. For any sort of check up visit you may need, this is the place to get that fixed. Although, for emergencies or inpatient treatment you will need to head over to the hospital.

. Ardsley Square
Tall governmental buildings surround Ardsley Square, this is the real historic part of the city. The oldest buildings in the whole city are located here. Mostly just business around these parts though.

. Winters Avenue
This street has been home to many businesses that have gone through generations of Port Mercer families. Always the small and reliable shops. Along with those are the fire station and historical society.

The Residential area, The Port Mercer Historical Society did a huge reconstruction on all of the downtown homes that were in ruins. Now they hold all the charm they originally had. The most valuable houses in all of the south.

. Drayton Street [QUARANTINED AREA]
Drayton Street is home to most of the food in the downtown area. All of the chefs back in the day grouped together, building their restaurants close to share in the love of the business. After a nice meal a walk through the park or a short shopping trip of odds and ends can be done here aswell.

. Suffolk Row [QUARANTINED AREA]
Ubdoubtedly the smallest street in town, at least in regards to width. This has given Suffolk Row a charm of it's own, cramped with small, charming stores that don't quite fit on Winters Avenue.

Home to the local public market when the weather permits. You can find carts and stores selling anything from fresh produce to fine foods here. The 'mini' flea market is especially lively on the weekends.

These apartments have a quite bit of their own charm despite being a little dilapidated on the outside, just like the rest of town. Of course the view of the waterfront helps too.

. Daffin Memorial Hospital
The oldest building outside of downtown, perhaps just as old as the Mercer house itself, dating back to the 1700s. Many tend to question why the hospital is situated so far away from town- while forgetting the morgue and psychiatric ward attached to it.

A long row of less expensive homes just as old as Liberty Lane. The houses here have been less well-maintained, but the large land on a few more than makes up for it and are also ideal for farms.

. Candler Oak Drive
The creepiest area in all of Port Mercer. With the abandoned areas and the cemetery located here it's no wonder why it's called that. The brave and rebellious often come here to prove themselves but most leave with a feeling of fear and nausea.
