So uh...I'm thinking of making a new Final Fantasy comic on DD (no drawing, YES!), but I don't know where to rip the sprites/maps. If anyone knows a good Final Fantasy sprites/maps site, please tell.

Okay, I found a perfect sheet, but...How do I take the sprites off of it? I'm kind of new at this sprite stuff. And, what would be the best program to make the comic in?

We have a great forum where you can see some tips and tricks.

Now before you being spriting and making sprite comics make sure you have a good program. You could use MS Paint, but I would recommend you look at paint.net. You can make some really great comics in it, and best of all its free.

If he doesn't even know how to rip sprites from backgrounds yet, he should definitely start in MS Paint. Work his way to PDN or PS later.
