Well I hear that ghosts can drain batteries.. right?

Well... we have fire detectors in every room of our house.. they are plugged into the wall to be wired, and to get energy.... but it has a battery for back up. Our power has not gone off since we have been here, but why..... the other day the alarm started beeping... because the back up battery was out? why..? Ghosts?

Out of every one hundred batteries that fail, approximately 75 are still mechanically sound power-plants which have turned into dead cell batteries due to heavy accumulation of crippling sulphation on the plates and separators.

Basically what they're saying is, over a long period of time, batteres die. The cells go bad. Just like milk does.

Batteries also expire, so if you ever happen to take notice at a package, you will see it gives you an experation date etc.

FACT:
New Lead-Acid Batteries on average last approximately 2.9 years.

FACT:
75% of Lead-Acid batteries FAIL PREMATURELY due to HARD SULPHATION build-up.
