My first try at a poll.
--------------------  My Diamond In-Game Team  My Dream Team! --- Many (about an estimated 70%) people like using cheating/hacking devices such as the Gameshark or Action Replay to do whatever they want illegally. If you are one of the 30% of people who either use these devices 'legally' (meaning not getting infinite Master Balls or making all wild Pokemon Shiny, etc. and instead just using it to get enough money to buy 10 Ultra Balls or other things) or do not use them (or do not want to use them anyway!), copy and paste this into your signature. -Started by Shdowgroudon --- Imagine this: Blissey versus a Tank Kyogre. Who would win? Kyogre can't OHKO Blissey, and Blissey can three- or four-hit-KO Kyogre while self-healing with Softboiled. Now picture Choice Band Salamence versus Rain Dance boosted Palkia. Sure, Palkia is fast and powerful - but Salamence (with the right EVs in Attack and Speed) is better. It could OHKO Palkia with ease by using Outrage or possibly even Dragon Claw. Probably. That was my vote too. Of course, that's assuming they both are in prime condition with maxed out EVs, full HP, an appropriate item, etc. Plus the intelligence level of the players. =)
(for example, if a two month old baby had a DS and a Bolt-Beam Blissey vs. a Choice Band Salamence, something tells me it wouldn't go too great. Yeah, that's a factor, too.
 I think that Blissey would be able to survive a Salamence assault (seeing that it isn't a Fighting-type move) and back it up with Ice Beam. -------------------- |

My thoughts exactly. A normal (Seismic Toss) Blissey, however, would not withstand any of Band-Mence's attacks. Even a Bolt-Beam Blissey without any Defence EVs wouldn't survive. But yeah:
Salamence uses Outrage/Dragon Claw/etc.! (Bolt-Beam Blissey survives in the yellow zone) Blissey uses Ice Beam!
