This time, it seems your cries have unfortunately fallen upon deaf ears. As Abomasnow lies on the gym floor catching some Z’s, Danny and Hoothoot aren’t wasting any time in figuring out how to end this battle quickly. When the large Grass/Ice-type awoke, it wouldn’t take long before Hoothoot was down from damage done by an Ice-type attack.
“Hoothoot, use Peck once more!” cried the male gym leader, watching his faithful Pokémon rise up into the air once again. As he flew in to deliver the attack, Danny was glad to see that Abomasnow showed no signs at all of waking this time around. As the owl’s small beak delivered a speedy jab, Danny gave out an order to do it again.
That was how this turn of the gym battle ended for both Mike and Danny. Abomasnow was still fast asleep, and Hoothoot was still ready and willing to battle. If the large Frosted Tree Pokémon failed to wake soon, it would be at a disadvantage in terms of remaining health. So unless Mike happened to have a Full Heal or Awakening stored somewhere within his bag, he would have to simply hope that his Pokémon wasn’t having an enjoyable dream.
