Kairyu walks into the gym with a confident look on her face. She holds a pokeball in her hand. "Are you ready to battle, Emeral Gym leaders??" She throws the pokeball up into the air, and with a flash of red light, her treasured Suicune, Mystic, appears, roaring.

[Merovin]

From beyond the lush gardens that ruled the entire gym, one figure made its way towards you. The figure moved closer and closer, until you could see a young man standing before you.

'Greetings; my name is Garret. I see you're quite eager, so I'll get on with it. We will have 2 pokémon each. I hope that's okay with you.' Garret said in a calm tone. 'I think I will start this battle off with Sunflora. Ladies first.'

[Kairyu]

"That's fine. Wait can we have a double battle?" Kairyu asks. if so she sends out her Pidgeot, Feather, and commmands Mystic to use aurora beam on sunflora and Feather to use Gust on sunflora.


if not, Suicune will use Aurora Beam on Sunflora ;]

"I guess so.." Garret scuffed, looking at the four pokemon on the field. He listened to your commands and smirked. Sunflora, dodge the attacks elegantly then follow up with a Grasswhistle on the Suicune." Garret said, as Sunflora nodded. Garret then whistled himself behind him.

Emerging from a doorway, Erin followed. Erin skipped out in glee, glad to have a challenger here. Erin hopped up, twirled, and threw a pokeball. Out popping of the ball was a Roselia. With petals twirling around it, it set down gently on the gym floor, ready for action.

"Roselia, use Ingrain. Then, follow up with Toxic on the bird pokemon!" Erin said loudly and joyfully. She jumped up next to Garret. "So, having fun are we Garret?" she said with a smile. Garret ignored it for now and went back to focusing on the battle.

Sunflora successfully dodged the moves, barely.. and sent out a Grasswhistle. As the Grasswhistle was commencing, Roselia used Ingrain to restore health after every turn. It sighed, then fired a Toxic out onto Pidgeot. Suicune jumped swiftly up on the wall of the gym, running along it to avoid the Grasswhistle. Suicune jumped down onto Sunflora, knocking it down. But, Pidgeot was not as lucky. Toxic hit dead on, poisoning the bird. Things haven't started out well for you...

Kairyu sighs, and begins to think. Suicune looks at her, wondering what it shall do. "Suicune, use Ominous Wind! (egg move) Follow it up with an Ice Beam at Roselia! Pidgeot, I'd like you to use Brave Bird on Sunflora, get up close and personal! Follow it up with an Air Cutter on the sunflower to, got it?"

Your Suicune and Pidgeot nod. They get in a battle stance, as Suicune begins it's Omnious Wind at Roselia. Roselia was ingrained, sucking in nutrients as the wind hit. It was moved little, but still Roselia was damaged. It shook, and looked up in horror as the ice came straight at it. It tried to dodge but was hit right square in the chest being blasted out of the ground. It got up once more, shook and ingrained again. Erin gritted her teeth, "Roselia, use Petal Dance on that dog!" she said, all happiness had escaped her. She was now serious and determined to win. Roselia began bringing petals and dancing about..

All the while, Pidgeot took off. Poisoned, but still strong. Pidgeot got close to Sunflora and began the Brave Bird attack. Hitting Sunflora left and right, as Sunflora was knocked down like a rock. Pidgeot took recoil from the hit, and was knocked next to Sunflora. As they both got up, Garret screamed "Now Sunflora, use Giga Drain!" Sunflora grinned and threw itself at Pidgeot, sucking energy from your bird. It growled in pain as the energy was just sucked out of it. Sunflora stopped, refreshed and sprang up with a backflip quickly.

Pidgeot got up, slowly but took flight once more. This time for an Air Cutter. Pidgeot swooped in close, and sliced the over confident Sunflora right across the forehead. Sunflora was knocked back, and had a major headache but still ready for battle.

Roselia launched the Petal Dance attack, which had hit Suicune quite hard as Suicune is a water type. Suicune was knocked over only, but still banged up pretty bad. This battle could go either way now. Pidgeot was hurt by Poison, and Roselia sucked in health.

all that didnt do much damage at all??....

"Suicune! Use IceBeam twice in succesion against Sunflora! Pidgeot, use Air Cutter in succesion against Roselia!!" I yelled. Suicune readieid itslef, its mouth glowing blue, Pidgeot spread its wings and prepared to take off.

This battle was quite even so far, but seeing as it was only beginning and there wasn't much done, the future couldn't be told. You're pokémon started to ready their attacks, but Sunflora and Roselia seemed to be one step ahead. They were already using their attacks.

"Okay Sunflora! Use an attract attack! If it works, it'll put our odds of winning up, and her odds of winning down!" Garret yelled and laughed afterwards. He was hoping it would work, so Pidgeot's attack would hit Sunflora less, thus making this battle more easy!

"Sun, Sunflora, Sun!" The little pokémon screamed as it tried to attract your pidgeot. The flower danced around and tried and tried, hoping it would work and that pidgeot's attack would be lowered*by percentage*, but to no success! Pidgeot laughed at the bird, and just readied it's attack.

"Roselia, since Sunflora failed, you go and use Sweet Scent! Lower thier evasiveness with your sweet, sweet powder!" Erin screamed as her little green pokémon started to shake it's body about.

As the Roselia started to spread a sweet powder around the gym, Suicune and Pidgeot sniffed around for the heavenly smelling scent. The sweet scent would lower their evasions by 1, and would make them easier to hit.

"Pidgeot!" Your big bird roared as it zoomed towards Roselia. The big bird was huge in comparison to the tiny spike bearing pokémon, but it could still hit it. As it glided through the air, it pulled one wing back, and as soon as it met Roselia, it used an air cutter! The air was slashed and Roselia was left with a big cut on it's head.

Your suicune growled towards the enemies as it used two aurora beams, just as you commanded. Your suicune fired both beams off at the same time! As the blue icy cold lasers thrust themselves through the air, Sunflora watched. It was waiting for the perfect time to dodge, but as soon as it noticed the aurora beams were close enough, it was too late! Sunflora was hit, directly in the stomach!

"Flor..." The sunflora mumbled after the powerful attack hit it in the gut. It must have knocked the air out of it. But soon, it retaliated! "Flor!" The sunflora yelled towards Roselia! The two pokémon started to shake their arms as they called upon 2 petal dance attacks. One from each pokémon, of course! As the petals slashed your pokémon consecutively, Erin and Garret were confused to as what happened.

"We didn't tell you to do that! Listen to us! You have to follow our commands, otherwise, we'll lose!" Garret bellowed as the two pokémon walked back in shame. They were embarrassed that their masters were not proud of them.

By the end of the round, Roselia had ingrained twice, and pidgeot was hurt by poison. Both of your pokémon had their evasiveness lowered by 1! The battle was pretty even, however, Roselia and Sunflora were confused by Petal Dance!

I hold out two gleaming red balls. "Pidgeot, return! Its your turn, Groudon!" The feiry red Pokemon comes out, roaring. The two legendaries looked feirce and ready to battle. "Groudon, use Flamethrower twice on Sunflora, Suicune, you use Ice Beam! Go to it!" I yell. Groudons mouth erupts in flames, while Suicunes glows bvlue
