Due to massive log-in and load problems at the Poem Forum, I have created this temporary home for members of the Poem. If the problems can be resolved, we can all move back. Until then, anyone who was a member of the Poem forum - or would like to become one in the future! - is welcome to use this section of the Poets On Fire forum as a temporary home-from-home. For this, you will need to register.

Poets On Fire is a site devoted to 'live' poetry, which includes performance, poetry readings and spoken word.

This section of the POF forum is devoted to discussion about contemporary poetry in print form. Members of POF wishing to post here should bear that in mind and try to keep conversation flowing and topical. Anyone interrupting the flow of discussion with over-long or problematic posts - I'm not pointing at you, Ovid, but I am thinking about you - will have their comments summarily removed or their posts put under moderation.

Sorry, but there are other parts of this site where a more informal approach is encouraged. Post there instead if you can't keep to the general tone.

Otherwise, enjoy, and hopefully we'll all be back at the Poem soon enough. As far as I'm concerned, all the 'rules' for forum behaviour that applied at the Poem forum will apply in this section of POF. Though all shot through with my own inimitable style. Caveat Poster.
