Right boardies, this is a roll call.
Penned in the Margins is launching two new titles this Sunday (8 Nov) at The Slaughtered Lamb in Farringdon, 34-35 Great Sutton Street. Your presence is requested! It's Static Exile by George Ttoouli and Weather A System by James Wilkes Info: http://www.pennedinthemargins.co.uk There will be readings by George and Jamie plus support from Simon Turner and Holly Pester. And plenty of boozing. I might "DJ" which some of you will know entails plugging my old laptop into the sound system and letting all hell break loose. I can't wait. Things kick off at 8pm. The Slaughtered Lamb does good gastro-pub-grub if you wanna turn up early and munch. All the very best for the launch and sorry I can't be there - Nine Arches are hitting the road from Thursday to go to Kent then Aldeburgh. I think a third event might be the end of me! But do hope you all have a good 'un.

I can attest to the beauty of the books (or George's at least): the author brought his reading copy round for me to see, and it really is lovely. One of the most arresting covers I've seen in a long time.
