Starting a team?

*waves* Hey I'm the one member of fuwafuwaCandy from Little Rock. I was really having trouble finding people in Arkansas. What I did was I went to my local college's Anime club (which I'm not officially a part of) and I asked the president of the club if I could do a mini panel and see if anyone would be interested. I had about 5 people who were interested. Now we have para para meetings once a week.

I would suggest checking out any kind of anime clubs in your area or colleges. Most of the time, people there are more receptive to learning para para. Usually college websites post the clubs and how to contact the president.

Also I will definitely be at A-Kon next year!

This is true. Vicky (Coachvee) and I had a parapara team and she lives in England and I live in Vancouver, Canada. XD We did some original routines and we would each choreograph different parts of the song, then send videos back and forth until we go the routine together (this may sound complicated but it actually worked out really well and was a pretty painless process) then we would film and edit our videos together in a picture-in-picture fashion.

Also, Dom and Jim have a team and Dom lives in Cali and Jim lives in Nevada.

Plus, if you guys apart but are relativity close to each other, when you guys meet in person now and then you can always film tons
