The plethora of pyros coming from the entrance ramp is enough to cause a seizure, but when one celebrates a night of champions there’s no such thing as too little. Once the chaos fades we are welcomed by twenty thousand men, women and children erupting to the backdrop of "Disposable Teens" by Marilyn Manson. As the camera pulls back from the audience, we now see the layout of the arena. While the squared circle will be littered with violence for the remainder of the evening, it is currently adorned with a red carpet, a podium and the PWA commissioner; The Notorious PIC. Once the sound drops, Piccie Smalls picks the microphone off the temporary structure and speaks.
Piccie Smalls: Ladies and gentlemen, for the first time in what feels an eternity I welcome you to PWA Carnage! A production assistant disrupts his speech, correcting the error. Piccie Smalls: What? Really? Crap, alright. Welcome to Thursday Night Havoc! The fans cheer, glad to be part of such a special event. Piccie Smalls: But tonight will be unlike any of the eighty-plus editions of the old Havoc, tonight is the Trial of Champions! It’s been promoted for weeks, but tonight it’s finally here. Piccie Smalls: Tonight, we will have seven champions defend their titles against a total of eight challengers. These will take place in six matches that I promise will see… Whatever the commissioner had to say, it’s broken by a steady drumbeat - eventually met with guitars - as Talking Heads begin to fill the sound system. The grim song echoes it's opening lines as the Stunning Submissionist prepares to make an appearance. I can’t seem to face up to the facts, I’m tense and nervous and I can’t relax. I can’t sleep because my bed’s on fire, Don’t touch me I’m a real live wire. Tommy Dragon appears - to a crescendo - along with his partner, the Rexcellent One known as Rex Haraway and their apparently mutual mentor P.Y. Normally these three would come out to Mushroom Head’s “The New Cult King” but with this show being in New York it seems only fitting that the post-punk riffs of “Psycho Killer” echo. While already dangerous men, they’ve brought one of their most infamous weapons; a mic. Rex Haraway: Piccie, I understand your attempts to make the rest of the roster feel appreciated but let’s be honest with ourselves. They’re here to see one person… The Patron Saint slaps him on the back, P.Y looking over to check if his services are needed. It seems the forceful pat was understood, Rex waiving the behemoth off. Rex Haraway: Sorry, two people. They’ve filled this arena to see me retain my championship against… ummm… The Rexcellent One turns to P.Y, somewhat embarrassed he doesn’t know the answer. P.Y: Tom Tyco… Rex Haraway: Oh yeah, that guy! He raises a thumbs up, thanking his comrade before turning to his partner. Rex Haraway: And of course they’re here to see one of the few men almost as Rexcellent as myself claim the World Championship! Tommy takes his cue, stepping forward and soaking up the applause. Rex Haraway: That I will win at PojoCade. The fans heard that, the number one contender turning in surprise as his cohort backs off; waving his hand and chuckling as if joking. Rex Haraway: Kidding, totally kidding. Haraway turns back towards the ring, smiling a bit before returning to a serious glare. Rex Haraway: When all is said and done, Havoc will not be remembered as the trial of champions. No, it will be a night of Rexcellence! Rex drops the microphone, having enough of these fans as he walks his way towards the curtain. Mushroom Head’s “The New Cult King” is blasting, P.Y heading off with him but to both their surprise Tommy remains still. Haraway is already partly behind the black slit separating the television world and the business, but he stops as the Patron Saint grabs the discarded microphone. The Patron Saint: Chaz Steele… World Heavyweight Champion… no more. He drops the sound equipment, joining his comrades as they return backstage. Those grim words the last we hear before tonight’s first commercial break. This post has been edited by The Patron Saint on Sep 16 2008, 02:31 AM |

"Hand Of Blood" by Bullet For My Valentine blasts over the PA system as the fans anticipate Dyno's first in-ring promo. As a continuous note swirls into a ascending spiral, "Hand Of Blood" By Bullet For My Valentine kicks in as the opening riff blasts over the PA system. Some fans pop as they quickly recognize who is about to enter the match. OHHHHH! Wearing his shirt emblazoned with a Dragon symbolizing his home country, and "bloodstains" on the back, a focused MDynamite steps from behind the PojoTron and walks onto the mainstage, looking in one direction. There goes my Valentine again Soaked in red for what she said And Now she's gone! Oh my god have I done it again? There's a pulse and its deafening! I cant help what i hear in my head, It's the switch that I flip, when it says... MDynamite looks to his right and slowly turns his hand around, looking into it as if it was encrypted with something. His normal, focused look creases into a frown. As the chorus hits, he raises his right hand high in the air in the "V 1" style. This sends off a single shot of red pyrotechnics. Hand of Blood! I don't wanna feel, my heart is breaking, Hand Of Blood! I don't wanna see, my life is burning... Dyno looks above him, and proceeds to walk down the ramp. A few fans outstretch their hands, beckoning him to high five them. He does to a few, but is focused on the match at hand, and he doesn't have time for everyone. ANNOUNCER: From Cardiff, Wales weighing in at 237 pounds, MDynamite! I saw you look away, Is what you've seen to much to take or are you blind and seeing nothing? (I saw you run) I saw you run away, Is what ive done to much to take or are you scared of being nothing. Now, The PROject is in the ring, and he slowly walks up to one turnbuckle and climbs it. He uses his V1 taunt as a way to get the crowd on his side. This works for some, yet a minority of the crowd boo him throughout his entrance. He steps down and removes his shirt, throwing it into the crowd. -- MDynamite: So... This Is Havoc, eh? It's gonna be a hell of a show. You wanna know why? 'Coz i'm gonna mop up the floor with Slim. The fans let out loud boos at Dyno's remarks. MDynamite: Aw, c'mon, you just know it's gonna happen! And Slim, I know you're out there. I don't give a damn if every fan in the arena is booing me. Nope, don't care. I'm not even gonna notice them while i'm pounding you into the ground. You're gonna get what's coming to ya, Slim. You're gonna get your just desserts, ya son-of-a-bitch. Come on, come out here and face me! SlimAlex walks from behind the curtain. Many fans let out a loud pop of approval. SlimAlex: Hey, hey, hey. I don't know if you know, Dyno, but you don't rag on the hometown boy!! The fans approve. SlimAlex: But you're wrong on all ends. I am going to annihilate you. I'm gonna come don on your ass like a ton of bricks. And you're not gonna stop me. SlimAlex walks back down the ramp towards the tron, MDynamite looks dumbstruck. MDynamite: Oh, contrare, Slim. Ha ha ha ha ha.... The maniacal laughter continues as he lights slowly fade to pitch black. -------------------- ![]() PWAccomplishments Million Dollar Championship (x1, current) Longest Reigning MD Champion Youngest MD Champion Ever Was Undefeated In First 8 Matches Reached Final 6 In WrestleFest Rumble 08 Voted 2nd Best Promoer At WrestleFest 08 Million Dollar Champion of 2008 (by default) |

There is a giant replica on the Intercontinental Title in the middle of the ring with blood stains splattered all over it. Tom Tyco, dressed in blue jeans and a "Please Censor my Girlfriend's Mouth, Hajjhowe" shirt comes out from behind it with a microphone at hand. Tom Tyco: Good evening, and WELCOME TO INSANITY! "Waits for dead silence for the obviously dumb error of words. As expected, no one laughs." I should say, HAVOC! YEAH! The event where everyone puts a championship on the line, and where some of the lower names can take a step up to the next tier of their careers! Unfortunately, I am NOT one of those steppers. In fact, I am pretty much neutral from last year. For you see, I have a title match tonight. If I can gain the Intercontinental Title, this will be my third or fourth or twentieth reign or something. But do not fear, fans, for the idea of the match is sweet. Here's why ... A clip from the Pojotron plays. On the bottom of the clip is the description "Wrestlefest 2007" throughout the clip's entirety.
Tom Tyco: It's nearly been a year since I was eliminated by Rex Haraway at Wrestlefest. During the duration of that year, I have not really had a chance avenge my falling over of the top rope. Well, that time has finally come. Tonight, I face Rex Haraway for the Intercontinental Title! And then, after I'm through with him, I'm coming for his partner Tommy Dragon in a Stretcher Match, whether he's the champ or not! And then, I'll eliminate BOTH of them in the Wrestlefest rumble and claim the number one spot for the first time in my career! And then, I'll stack the World Title onto my Intercontinental Title! YEAH! BOY I'm getting too caught up in the moment. Ok, ok, let's just start with Rex tonight and take it from there. In the meantime, I'm going to go get my name plate made for the Intercontinental Title! See ya! The ring scene cuts to a commercial. |

*Havoc returns from commercial in the backstage area. Mitchell Cole is standing prepped and ready, suit, tie, and microphone in hand. Joining him at this time is Kyle “The Freak” Rieger, and his lovely valets Sarah Death Rey and Allison Reality. The crowd is amped ready to see what The Man of Redemption will talk about tonight.*
Cole: Kyle, you’ve been uncharacteristically quiet in these past few weeks. I’ve got to ask the question that may still be on your mind, and certainly is on the fans. How do you feel after your “Freak’s Rules” match with Shawn Prince. *Sarah pulls a pack of Marlboro Mild 100s from her skirt, the official cigarettes of ReiGore Enterprises. He puts the cancer stick in his mouth and gets a light from Allison. After a deep inhale he begins his thoughts.* Kyle: Most people would expect disappointment. Most people would expect anger and frustration. MOST WOULD THINK I’M ANGRY. Why, because I didn’t stop the match, Shawn didn’t stop the match, it was Vegeta who did it. I didn’t give up, I didn’t quit, I did nothing. I didn’t mind losing the match because I accomplished what I set out to see. I had to know if Shawn Prince was ready to step between those ropes. In wrestling, it’s not always about doing your best, doing everything you can. Sometimes you’ve got to cross the line, SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO DO THINGS THAT YOU DON’T WANT TO. He knew the risks coming in, and will admit to anyone that I beat him without mercy. He was a man just for taking the match, just for saying, I’LL STEP IN THERE WITH ONE OF THE MOST CRAZED, DANGEROUS, AND INSANE INDIVIDUALS IN WRESTLING TODAY. It wasn’t about that though; it was about seeing that when the time came, he’d do anything he had to to win the match. I’ve done it, his dad’s done it, everyone has to be able to or they won’t do a damn thing here. He proved that he’ll make a fine combatant, and he deserves to be in those ropes. His father may have stopped the match but I know why he did, because he’s seen the change in Kyle Rieger. I used to not give a damn about most anything. I made money because I found areas that I knew would make me money. I had allies, because I knew I would need them. I wrestled because I enjoyed beating people, and making them suffer. But that’s changed; I didn’t give a shit about the PWA or the fans that make me who I am. Now The Bossman knows, he knows that I FUCKING BLEED GREEN AND BLACK. He prevented me from getting injured at a time when he might need me. There’s going to be a war soon, and he knows I’ll be a soldier on his side. The war between myself and The Icon is far from over. His son won, he’ll be getting his match against me whenever he wants. One on one, no gimmicks, no nothing, he’ll be fighting a battle in a war which I started nearly six years ago. We’ve got our battle scars, his bad leg, my missing teeth, but it’s not about any of that anymore. It’s about respect, because frankly to this day I still don’t know if he does respect me. That’s what this war has, and will forever be about. Cole: Well tonight big opportunity for you as you and Serial, the dynamic duo of Técnico Difficulties will be taking on The Forsworn for The PWA Tag Team Titles. What are your thoughts on that match? Kyle: This is the match where Serial and I will prove that we are the greatest tag team in The PWA. The Forsworn may have been the team that knocked us out of PWA Cup 3. They may have been the ones who let us watch them contend for the titles in our place. But they fail to realize what we have on our side. Yes Organon and Deception have been allies for longer and know each other better. Yes they may have won the cup. Yes they may be two well decorated champions. Yet we’ve got a few things going for us. We’ve got the support of everyone in this arena, watching this special; the fans say “We’re with you Serial. They say we’re with you Freak.” The people want us to be the bearers of the gold. We’ve got the hottest rising star and if he’d be considered as a nominee, 2008’s Rookie of the year. We’ve got Three Hours of Power winner for 2008 in myself. We’ve got speed, teamwork, determination, everything that a good tag team needs. And we learn from our mistakes, we’re ready to hoist gold over our heads. I don’t like Organon, but I respect him and what he’s done. I damn sure don’t like Deception, but I can admit that he’s accomplished more than most wrestlers can dream of. YET RESPECTING THEM DOESN’T MEAN THAT I WON’T ENJOY SHOWING THEM UP. DECEPTION, I CAN’T WAIT TO GET YOU INTO THE RING BEATING MY HATRED INTO HIM. Cole: You just had some harsh words for Deception, why? Kyle: Deception is everything that I could’ve, and should’ve been in The PWA. I hate to date myself as I frequently do, but I will; we go back to 2002 again. Before Revolution Inc. before Wrestling and Revolution, there was just The Revolution. After Razer and Tigress who was the first person I recruited into my group, that person was Deception. I saw him; I saw the potential before anyone else. I may have sounded pompous as a twenty-two year old, but I knew I could mold him into a legend. He could do anything in the ring, he had a fucking gift, and I was the first one to see it. I brought him in; I taught him what I could, and HE STABBED ME IN THE BACK. HE SOLD ME OUT TO WRATH AND XTREME NATION, AND COST ME THE INTERCONTINENTAL GOLD. He turned his back on them too; he’s turned it on everyone he’s allied with. His star rose, and he made a name from anyone he could. When I sat out injured after Steele broke my kneecap, I watched his star rise. I knew that I could’ve been in that spot if I hadn’t been forced to retire. It made me mad because I couldn’t have done what he did in the condition I was in. Then he left for awhile, and I came back. I was working my ass off, I was undefeated for three months in my return, and I was remaking the name of The Freak. Before PWA I was a UWF hall of famer, to this day that still means a fucking lot, but I knew with my return I had to prove I deserved opportunities here. And I did, but there were no title matches, nothing, just wrestle, win, leave. Deception returns, he wants everything on a silver platter. He may have given me the second loss of my return, but I felt he should earn his way back up the company ranks. He didn’t, and that’s why I don’t like him. HE TOOK WHAT SHOULD’VE BEEN MY SPOT, AND HE’S RIDDEN IT EVER SINCE. Deception, at one point it will be just you and I in that ring, and I hope you’ve made peace with whomever still talks to you, BECAUSE I WILL DESTROY YOU. Cole: Now you said there’s a war coming, what are you talking about? Kyle: Tommy Dragon. Cole: Excuse me? *Kyle gets another cigarette from Death Rey, he takes a few more puffs and continues his tirade.* Kyle: The Patron Saint, did I stutter or something? Look at the card tonight, if he and his tag team partner both win this evening, then they’ll hold the two highest crowns in the company. Even if they don’t hold the gold, if they lose it all, they’re still people that the confused in the company will look to. They are both scum in my eyes, but they get things done. They get title shots, they’re willing to anything to get their way, and they get their results. THEY CAN GET PEOPLE TO FOLLOW THEM, AND THEY WILL. WHEN THAT TIME COMES THE SIDES WILL BE DRAWN. Who will people choose, will they choose the company or the man who could get him results. Look at the groups in the past, The Dynasty, The Forsworn, The Brawlers, Xtreme Nation, Wrestling and Revolution, Revolution Inc. People will join with a man who they think can get results. That’s why people will join up with him. Tommy Dragon, Rex Haraway, they can change anyone and make them into followers. They feel that they’ll reach the heights that Tommy and Rex have, but they’re just being used. Cole: So where are you in all this? Kyle: I’m PWA’s hope in all of this. There’s one man that Tommy Dragon and Rex Haraway would not be able to get to. One person they won’t get to jump, or leave. Even Vegeta can be tainted, The Dynasty, enough said. But I won’t join up with Tommy Dragon unless he can regain his dignity, respect, and honor back. If he does that, then he and I would be on the same page. Tommy himself has said he’s Evil, and it gets things done. He won’t be changing anytime soon, thus I won’t be joining him. I’ve got one man who I earned the respect of, Serial, and he’ll have my back forever. Just like Razer, just like Kalevala. Tommy will pick people up and drop them when he doesn’t need them. And this company will need me. Its simple enough, while I’m around, I’ll fight to my last fucking breath. I HATE TOMMY DRAGON, AND HE KNOWS HE CAN’T BEAT ME. WHILE I’M HERE, HE’S GOT OPPOSITION, AND IT SCARES HIM. He can find followers, I had homeless people, my followers coming down to the ring with me when I started. If he gets people to join his cause, then I’ll find more people to join our cause. Like I said there will be a war coming, and I know whose side I’ll be fighting on. If I have to fight the war alone I will because I don’t even care. I’ve given my heart and soul into this business, and now that I’ve worked so hard to get my respect back I’m not going to give it up so easy. If it comes down to it, if Tommy gets an army, I’ll fight back. I’ll bring Serial; I’ll recruit Shawn Prince or Vegeta to fight for their company. I’ll bring in the new blood, the people who will carry this company in the future. I’ll bring back some of the old guard to save the company that they built. And if that happens, if it’s PWA vs. Tommy Dragon, I don’t know where I’ll find my allies but I will find them, to save this company from being poisoned. I KNOW WHAT DAMAGE A FEW MANIACS CAN DO, REVOLUTION INC. DID IT. THIS TIME THOUGH, THERE’S A GENERAL WHO’S WILLING TO FIGHT BACK UNTIL HE’S GOT NOTHING LEFT. *Kyle walks back into his dressing room to finish his final prep for the match as the camera fades back to ringside.* -------------------- ![]() Battle of the Century, WHO YA GOT Accomplishments Hardcore 1x European 1x Tag 1x Intercontinental 1x 2008 Three Hours of Power Winner Gave Triple Six his first loss of 2007

A camera in the backstage catches the lovely Lightstar pushing her husband up to a sky box in Madison Square Garden. Mitchell Cole runs up to the Indystar, whose neck is braced, thanks to a botched Super Steamroller back in August.
Cole: Indy! Indy! What are you doing here? As the camera crew and the interviewer got closer, Lightstar stops and waits for Cole to bring the microphone down to her husband's face. Indy: Well Mitch...you see, I came here to check on two particular matches...I bought myself some tickets and came to New York, New York The three individuals in the hall hear the attendance of The Garden cheer as their town is briefly mentioned by the Indystar. Indy: Sully unfortunately is currently training back in Texas so he couldn't come. The Misses and I... Lightstar: BRING BACK WOMAN TITLE!! The two men look at Lightstar, who gives the peace sign for a minute before the camera man focuses on her husband Indy: ....as I was saying.....the misses and I came to see good ole fashion PWA wrestling...we came to see the commonwealth title match....and the tag-team title match Cole: Well you are going to see the tag-team match soon but you missed the three way commonwealth title match A surprise Indy lifted himself by the arm rests, nearly falling out of the wheel chair. Lightstar tries to force her husband back into the seat, afraid that he'll fall out it Lightstar: Indy-san! Sit down!! Indy: Really...who won? Cole: Adam Senton The PWA wrestler sat back down and took a deep breath before sighing. A broad smile formed from ear to ear as he both hands together, thinking about the news Indy: ....Perfect...well my lovely Lightstar...let's go see a tag-team match Lightstar: Alright Indy-san The couple headed to their sky box, leaving the interviewer by himself -------------------- Eddie Cheats to Win ![]()

The following takes place backstage after MDynamites match. He struts in to the camera view, jovially. Mitchell Cole is smiling a crooked smirk at the camera, hoping to exchange words with The Million Dollar Champion. MDynamite brandishes his title, while almost walking into Cole, seemingly not noticing the squat Inerviewer. MDynamite: Whaddaya want? Cole: So, uh, what's it like, eh? You STILL have your first ever title around your waist, after a third successful defense. What's it like? In your shoes. MDynamite: Ha! Told you, Slim, didn't I tell you? Another "Legend" down, but this had to be the sweetest. Through the mental anguish, Slim got ANNIHILATED by my S!ck-O Driver, and I got him down for the 1-2-3. I beat his sorry ass for more than he's worth, and I loved it. I hope you're watching, Slim, in your hospital bed, nursing an OBLITERATED BACK. Dyno smiles wickedly. Cole: Well, okay... MDynamite: Sorry, Cole, but i'm on my way to a lucrative party. Yes, there's gonna be champagne from all for corners of the earth. Dyno walks away. Cole: *Looking other way* Can I come? *Turns Around* Oh. *PWA fades into a commercial hyping their newest DVD release. The image on the screen is of Kyle “The Freak” Rieger in a darkened room in a blood red suit. The image gets distorted, fades in and out at time, and becomes scratched at points.*
Kyle: I am Kyle “The Freak” Rieger, and I am pro wrestling. Announcer: He’s simply known as The Freak, but who exactly is Kyle Rieger. A loose cannon? An insane bastard? Is he what he maintains he is, The Best Wrestler in the World? *We start with home movies, a young Kyle Rieger in the happy and sad days with his family. Still pictures of him living on the streets with other homeless. Videos of his amateur matches and begging after he left school. The newspaper headline “Rieger wins state title.” Setting up rings and working small shows. Inheriting of millions from his family and returning to help the community that supported him. The hard life that lead him to become the man he is.* Announcer: Life wasn’t always easy for The Hardcore Hobo, as he was raised in the school of hard knocks. He wrestled and fought, working to achieve his dream. Kyle: I didn’t have it easy. I was fourteen, my parents kicked me out simply because I had compassion and they didn’t. I would work odd jobs, beg, just try and get by anyway I can. I wanted to prove that I didn’t need them, and I was a champion even then at 205. Announcer: Then a tragic accident, led him to wealth, and an opportunity to follow his dream. Kyle: I got the call at school, my parents died and I was their sole beneficiary. The board wanted me to sell my stock, and just enjoy myself. I fired them, and started making more money than my parents ever did. At sixteen I was being excused from classes to go to meetings. By eighteen we were in the Fortune 500. And I helped as many of the homeless of Chicago as I could. Kalevala: The thing many people forget is that he doesn’t need to wrestle. He could be relaxing on an island somewhere, but he follows his passion instead. That really says a lot. *The footage switches over to the early days of his career in the UWF. He stands tall along with Karnage, Darkside, and Jackal as a member of Legion and with mentors Joel Cinder and Awesome Anthony. His lavish entrances with his group of homeless followers. He’s seen winning the Tag Titles with Jackal, Incredible One, and Karnage, Hardcore, Cruiserweight, Intercontinental, and his Legendary European reigns. His matches with Scotty 2 Hotty, Phoenix, Oakster, Karnage, Joel Cinder, Razer, and everyone who crossed his path. Ending with his hall of fame induction.* Cinder: Kyle came into this business and from day one he changed everything. I was training him, and it seemed every move I showed him he could do after one try. I’d never seen anything like him. Anthony: Kyle did more in one year in UWF than most anyone could’ve imagined. Kyle: I met Mike E. Clark, he gave me a shot, and I shocked the world. Darkside: People saw his first few matches, and nearly everyone could see it, this guy could be the future of the business. Announcer: Kyle shook us the UWF, he held every title and influenced everyone that saw him. But one thing eluded him, The World Title. Jackal: He easily deserved the title, but never got the chance. I think it shocked a lot of people that he never held the gold. Announcer: A Hall of Famer he was known for his brutal MisTreatMent, and his lengthy reign as European Champion. Kyle: That belt got me in the hall of fame, for six months nobody beat me for it, I defended it, and nobody even touched me. Cinder: He demonstrated The MisTreatMent on me in a session, and he nearly broke my neck. Announcer: And in the darkest times, He carried the company on his back on tried to return it to glory. From his start there he left for a brief period, but remained until its closure. Scotty: I remember there were times when there were eight to ten of us left in the locker room, Kyle held three belts, would defend all three, and leave the fans happy. Razer: People stopped getting their paychecks, and Kyle would pay out of pocket to ensure everyone in the company made their money. A wrestler who would that for the rest of the boys, that is unheard of. Kyle: I knew if I didn’t do anything, then the company would die, and I kept it alive as long as I could, I would’ve bought the company if management would’ve let me. Instead the company folded and I walked away without The World Title ever being around my waist. *Now we head to the beginning of his PWA career. We see his debut with Karnage, Razer, Jackal, and Darkside as the reunited Legion, reaching the finals of the PWA Tag Title tournament, and winning The European Championship. There are clips from brutal and outright hostile feud with Fan and his wars with SlimAlex first over Tigress and then for the European title.* Announcer: He came to PWA to reform the once powerful Legion, and the new era began. The Freak had found a new home. Darkside: Karnage and I were already there and our feud finished. He called up Kyle, Pete, and Liam and see if they wanted to come in. Karnage: I knew those three could shake up PWA, and though Jackal had to go home to England we ended up bringing in two faces that are synonymous with PWA. Razer: Hell what else was I gonna do, slum around Liverpool and get blitzed. Announcer: As always enemies were made quickly, and The Freak relished in all of it. Vegeta: He was young, just twenty at the time, brash, and didn’t care what anyone thought of him. He always backed it up in the ring though. I think he may be the one that drove Fan away. Kyle: Fan didn’t like me, and he held the European title. I wanted that belt, I demanded my shot, and we were like gunpowder and fire just explosive. Finally they had to suspend him for his behavior towards me, and I think the fans sided with me in it. Announcer: He met a lovely female wrestler named Tigress, and she became inseparable from him. Kyle: We had instant chemistry, even if later on when I was bitter I ruined it. But to this day I care about her, and even if I lost my European title I managed to win her from SlimAlex. Razer: She was the first female I ever saw that got him. Kyle’s a unique soul, very few understand him. Hell I’m one of his best friends and I have trouble understanding him sometimes. Announcer: Then in his biggest match in PWA he faced Vegeta and Hott 2 Flamez for the Tag Team titles, even while trouble brewed. Vegeta: That match was the one that made him and Razer stars in our company. Here were two young guys, who upset favorites Bman and Steele a week before, fighting The Boss for the belts. Kyle: I found out that night how tough Vegeta really is. There were times when a lesser man would’ve quit, but he stood strong. Razer: I still was upset when a few weeks later they vacated the belts. It felt like our work was for nothing. *We see the formation of Revolution Inc. Kyle standing tall with Razer, Tigress, Zach Pendergrass, Moltar, Deception, and The Mushroom. Title wins for the majority of the members. The aggressive attitude they showed knowing that if they want anything in the company then they will have to take it. We see betrayal of Deception that lead to Kyle’s loss to Wrath, and the aftermath. Kyle getting the opportunity of a lifetime facing off against P.Y. for the world title, and the chokeslam on Tigress that made him retire as a wrestler. His joining of Xtreme Nation as manager of Fire Storm and the brutal Wargames match that nearly cost him his career.* Announcer: Kyle struck out with Razer and Tigress, to change the shape of the company forming The Revolution. His goal to showcase the rising talent throughout the PWA. Darkside: I don’t blame them for what they did; Karnage and I were burnt out and should’ve taken some time away. They saw an opportunity and they took it. Deception: I may hate the guy, but he saw the talent I had. He helped bring me to a higher level. Kyle: I saw two sides to PWA, the big guns, Showtime, Oakster, Steele, P.Y., Triple Six, Vegeta, Bman, and others. Then we had a bunch of young hungry talent that would be the next way in the company that wasn’t getting a shot. I took it upon myself to help them out. Zach: He was wise beyond his years in the business. I’ve never seen a guy so young who knew so much. His goal was to get us noticed, and we did. Razer: I left because he was my running buddy. I didn’t see everything he must have seen in these guys, but that’s why I’m the junkie and he’s been called The Brain. Announcer: But tensions arose with Deception, and he struck a deal with a devil. Kyle: Wrath and I have a huge match coming up; Deception’s the trouble shooting referee. I should’ve seen it coming, but I didn’t. I lost a big opportunity, but gladly I got one more down the line. Announcer: With no one willing to step up to P.Y. The Freak was given an opportunity of a lifetime. Kyle: I was eliminated from Three Hours of Power already, they needed someone to fight for the title, and I told Vegeta I’d do it. Sometimes I regret that decision. Vegeta: That was his chance to prove he was a major player, and I think he shocked everyone with what he was able to do. He wasn’t the biggest guy in the world, but he had the heart of a lion. Razer: He didn’t tell anyone else this a few close friends, but he said “If I lose this I’m done. If I can’t be champion my career means nothing.” And I think that’s the first time anyone has heard it besides his closest friends. It didn’t happen the way he expected though. Announcer: After the brutal contest he fell victim to the P.Y. bomb, but someone fell victim to something much worse. Kyle: I lost and Tigress is checking on me, then I see the monster eying my girlfriend. I’m hurt so bad I can barely move and she is easy pickings for him. I still see the sight of that chokeslam, and it haunts me sometimes. Wrath: I was watching after my match, and when I saw that my heart sank. I saw how Kyle cared for her, and this was the worst thing that could happen to him. Moltar: We all watched in The Revolution locker room, and we all knew that was it. Kyle was done; it was too much for his heart to bear. P.Y.: If I had to go back, I still would’ve done it, I don’t care at all. Announcer: Kyle retired to manage Fire Storm, but got the call for one final match, PWA’s Wargames. Little did he realize that it would be the one that put his life in jeopardy. Wrath: I knew we needed one last piece to the puzzle, he knew Darkside and Razer better than any of us so he could help us on that front. He had pure hatred for P.Y. so he would fight till there was nothing left. Ironically the one man he had no real grudge with was the one who did him in. Kyle: We had a strong team, a hall of famer in Wrath, a legend in Oakster, one of the most underrated superstars ever in Twisted Metal, and myself. All of us, taking on two hall of famers Steele and P.Y., a future hall of famer with Razer, and the deadly Darkside. Someone was going to get hurt, and it ended up being me. Vegeta: I was ringside for the brutality and violence. It wasn’t a match, it was a war. These men did put their bodies on the line. Oakster: Kyle hadn’t wrestled in over a month, he wasn’t in the best shape, hell he was our manager at the time. But he went out there and fought with everything he had, that’s just the way he is. Announcer: When it was all said and done Steele locked The Freak in a vicious Sharpshooter, one that would cripple him. Razer: We held everyone back, we thought Kyle was the weakest link, and Steele didn’t care what he did. I think Wrath or Oak wanted to submit for him because they could see the pain he was in, but he didn’t allow it. Vegeta: Kyle gives up, but Steele wouldn’t let go. Mysterio came in; people thought he was going to save the day. Instead he helped ensure that there would be permanent damage done. Steele: I did what I had to do, wrestling is all about winning, and I won that evening. It is as simple as that. Razer: This was one of my best friends being crippled; looking back I wish I could’ve stopped it. I think in some ways my hatred for Steele could’ve started there. Kyle: I lost the match for our team, but what hurt me the most was I couldn’t stop it. Most people would be happy with the win, but Steele wanted to ensure I didn’t come back into a PWA ring. I don’t like the man for that, same reason why I hate P.Y. Announcer: Kyle entered a dark period of his life, criticizing the company he once bled for. Falling into work and anger. Kyle: I was in a wheelchair for nearly a year. Tigress remained on the road and we fell apart. I buried myself in work, and I began to hate the business I loved. I saw people becoming stars that I helped along the way. Razer, Deception, and Zach Pendergrass all won world titles, and I thought if I had taken six months off like I planned after Wargames I could’ve too. Vegeta: Kyle will always be controversial. He insulted my company, myself, and my wrestlers. It’s very hard to forgive somebody who does that. Razer: I didn’t talk to him for nearly a year; even then it was always sporadic. Finally we had a long talking after I won the world title, and our friendship was cemented once again. *The WAR area begins with Kyle’s return as the mystery partner of Julio Guerrera and Bman. We see a group of his famous promo segments, from The Dragonslayers, to the escapades of Kyle, Kalevala, and Mario Woosey. The joining of P.Y. and with him the group holding the four major titles in the company. The wars over The Intercontinental title with Tom Tyco, and Kyle and Kalevala forming Sponsored by the Letter K. We see the team fight with Triple Six and Vegeta, along with other members of his Untouchables. Their takeover and subsequent abandonment of WAR and ending with Kyle and Kalevala fighting for number one contendership, and Kyle’s dream match with Vegeta.* Announcer: PWA fans always expect the unexpected, but even they were shocked when Kyle made his return as a member of Wrestling and Revolution. Kyle: Julio called me up and said he needed a surprise. He was one of the few guys who kept in contact with me after I bad mouthed the company, maybe because he felt the same way on the inside. So I decided to come back, run my mouth a little, and create some controversy. I got the job done. Kalevala: Kyle and I knew each other from The Hart Dungeon. He had trained there on his off days with UWF, and came up to visit when he retired. I found out I’d be working with him, and we clicked immediately. Julio: I brought him in because people still remembered but didn’t expect him back. It turned a lot of heads. Bman: Julio just told me we had a mystery partner, and I was like “Is it somebody I can trust?” He came back with “He gave his career for this company as is pissed off about it. If we can’t trust him, we can’t trust anybody.” Kyle: I don’t think Julio knew the money I had. I started funding the group because he couldn’t pay Bman one week. From then on I became the Money Man. Kalevala: Without myself or Kyle Rieger WAR would’ve died early, but we kept plugging away at it. He paid for P.Y. to join, he fought his heart out every week, Julio may have been the face, but he was the soul. Kyle: I came back to prove I still had it, and it showed, hell I won ten straight matches back, then lost to Triple Six in his return. That’s one man I may not like but I fucking respect. Announcer: The group breathed new life into the company, and Kyle began a feud that would carry on throughout the year. Tyco: He wanted my title, and I wasn’t going to lose it to a man like him. I didn’t know our single match would become a blood feud. I beat him to ensure there wouldn’t be an all WAR final, and then won my title back in his Windy City Death Match. I have fought very few tougher opponents in my entire career. Kyle: Tom Tyco and I had wars, literally wars. I remember coming home as a hero in Chicago and having to face him. We bled, burned, it’s a match that took a year off each of our careers. He’s one of the few men in my career that has made me say I Quit. Announcer: Tensions arose in the group though, through the rise of Sponsored by the Letter K. Kalevala: We had tagged before, and we wanted something to do so we wouldn’t fight singles matches every week. Kyle just suggested the name, I laughed my ass off and we filmed the Sesame Street parody. Tommy Dragon: To this day I’ll admit that along with Senonomous, Técnico Difficulties, and Sparkle Motion that’s one of the best names anyone’s ever come up with for a tag team. Also one of the most underlooked tag teams of all time. Kyle: If we’d stuck together we could’ve been the biggest tag teams in PWA history. Hell we had the gifts, we clicked, and we knew what the other was thinking at all times. Kalevala’s a good friend, and I’d still trust my life with him. Julio: Once those two started up, it was our downfall I brought in Kendo to counteract them and he sided with them. Kendo: Julio is one crazy Latino man, I can’t trust nobody like ‘em. So I sided with the other guys. Announcer: It all came to a head in a feud with The Untouchables. Vegeta: Triple Six and I won the tag belts, Piccie beat P.Y. for the World title, and we were taking back control of the company. And it blew a fire under their ass. Kyle: P.Y. I didn’t want in to begin with, but I was over ridden, and I was fed up with it all. Me, Kal, and Deception beat Piccie, Trips, and Vegeta, the major champs, and Kalevala and I thought we were ready for our shots. We turned our back because we were fed up dealing with Julio. I don’t consider it turning our back on them; I think we did what was right. Kalevala: We got our tag shot and lost, and then we were booked to face one another for a world title shot. I think Vegeta thought it would break me and Kyle apart. Vegeta: That wasn’t my intention, they were two top contenders. I had to book it. Kyle: Then I had my dog collar match with Vegeta and I was done. I couldn’t take wrestling for awhile. *The footage switches to the days of Revolution Inc. The group formation, the ladies joining, and championships being worn by many. We see unsuccessful attempts to recruit both Kendo and Serial, and Tommy Dragon winning the world title. There’s the debut of The Deamon, and his shocking unmasking and brutal beatdown of Vegeta. Chaos in London, celebrity parties, glitz and glamour in the business. Then there is the brutal breakup of the team, the injury to Hellfire, and Kyle facing off with Tommy Dragon. We see the path walked now, and Serial and him teaming as Técnico Difficulties.* Kyle: Kalevala came in with his cousin Koda, and said he wanted to manage him in PWA. I said lets do it right and I made the calls. I knew with more money and more opportunity I could monopolize the company. Tommy: Kyle did the smart thing, he saw holes and he plugged them. We ran this company for six months, we were fucking untouchable. Announcer: The group Revolution Inc. became an enterprise, and people began to notice. Vegeta: They took the company by storm, and I don’t think at that time, maybe ever, there were people hated in this company as much as Tommy Dragon and Kyle Rieger. Hellfire: It was a good fucking ride, he took care of us, we kicked ass, took names, and fucked the system. Kendo: Them niggas tried to get me locked up, then I get a title shot an’ all a sudden, dere’s problems. What da fuck wit dat shit. Serial: I joined, and then I realized the level they would stoop to. I thought it wasn’t best for me to get on that level. Kyle: I didn’t fucking care at all, we got the job done flat out. Announcer: Kyle made a return that shocked the industry. Kyle: I had been the Deamon in Chicago when I started. I brought it back because no one would remember it. I guess I wanted to prove that I still was the top level of Wrestling. I won Three Hours of Power, and I couldn’t help myself. Vegeta was prone, and I destroyed him. Vegeta: It was a sick attack, and I became injured worse because of it. It’s something I may never forgive him for. Sarah: Four people knew, myself, him, Tommy, and Razer, outside of there everyone, even the members of our group were in the dark. Announcer: But with his win would come new problems, with a powerful ally. Kyle: I wasn’t going to let up in my match with Tommy, but I wanted him to know it was all about respect and I had the utmost for him. Tommy didn’t feel the same way, and I paid the price. Tommy: Would I do it again, in a second. It wasn’t about friendship or loyalty, it was my belt, and I wasn’t giving it up. Kyle: He didn’t beat me. Casey and a Guardrail beat me, and a Fucking chair beat me. I took a dozen shots, and kept fighting. That gold was mine. Announcer: Kyle decided to renounce his ways and go down the path of redemption. Kyle: I did what I had to do with the group. I couldn’t lead it anymore, and I don’t regret it. Serial: He gave me the Deamon’s mask, said I earned it. In Mexico, you have to win a match, but he still thought I earned that from him. I realized then the character he had, that why I partnered with him. Kalevala: Nobody expected that in the ring, maybe Tommy would be kicked out, but that was it. To drop a bombshell like that changed everyone’s opinion. Kyle: Tommy was a cancer, and I just might have been the cure. I did it because I realized what path I was walking down and didn’t like it. Tommy: He fucked up the greatest thing in wrestling, I know. *The clips are random and flash highlighting every area of his career.* Announcer: You get his life story, everything from the man himself and the people who know him best. His influence on the industry and even his current status as a man bleeding green and black. Serial: I dare say he’s one man who changed the industry, he’s bucked the system, he’s fought for everything he’s ever gotten, and he’s a straight shooter. He’s a man who you can take a bullet for, because you know he’d do the same for you. Indystar: Kyle has that drive, that determination that makes me believe that pro wrestling will continue even after I retire, because kids will see him and think to themselves "I want to be a pro wrestler like Kyle Rieger." Vegeta: Kyle is a unique taste, he’s out spoken, unabashed, and he doesn’t sugarcoat it. Kalevala: To this day if he said we’ve got to take on the Spartan army I’d fight with him, and there are a lot of others who would as well. Cinder: Possibly the finest student I ever had my hands in molding. Tommy: I hate him to death, but he’s one man that’s unpredictable, he talks shit but backs it up. Kyle: I make no apologies for who I am, because I wouldn’t be The Freak any other way. Announcer: Matches like his classics with Tommy Dragon, Tom Tyco, with WAR, Revolution Inc., and The Revolutions. Classics from his days in the UWF. His controversial victory and injury of Vegeta at Three Hours of Power. And PWA Wargames which nearly ended his career. Plus legendary interviews, bonus features and more. Unwanted, Dishonored and Unrelentless: The Kyle Rieger Story, available now on DVD. Kyle: I’m The Freak, and I keep changing the world. Ooc: hopefully nobody minds the way I used their characters. I just had the idea and wrote. -------------------- ![]() Battle of the Century, WHO YA GOT Accomplishments Hardcore 1x European 1x Tag 1x Intercontinental 1x 2008 Three Hours of Power Winner Gave Triple Six his first loss of 2007
