Upon reading these rules all the way through please place "I Love Cows" in the "Other" section of your app

1. Registration: When you register please join with your character's first and last name only! We're not looking for "LUVIN_my_Voice" or anything of the sort. No "Jean Anna Moore" either. Just their first and last name.

2. Posting: After you post your app, do not post anywhere else on the board. Wait for your app to be accepted which, depending, will be within twenty-four hours.

3. Respect: Be respectful! Don't rag on someone for their age, race, sex, favorite type of music, or anything. Any discrimination towards sexuality will not be tolerated! This is a big pet peeve of mine. Just leave it elsewhere. If it's posted anywhere on this site, you will be severely warned and the topic closed immediately.

4. Activity: Be Active! Obviously, no one can post every single day and, sometimes, not at all in a week. We simply ask that you post once or twice a month. Occasionally, we will do member clean outs to tidy up the site. To avoid being deleted, simply post! Also, we may do activity checks before member deletions or, at the very least, make an announcement of some kind.

5. Advertising: If you wish to advertise on this board, that's fine. If you're not a member, that's fine but if you are posting a topic on my board, I must be allowed to post a topic on your board as well.

6. Rating: This site is rated R. All topics containing sex and very mature situations must be marked clearly. However, graphic nature can only go so far- full out sex scenes are not welcomed, and need to fade before details get overly dirty. We do allow drugs, and these topics will also be marked.[E] means EXPLICIT

7. General RP etiquette: When you're Role Playing with someone please post in third person, past tense. This is to keep everyone on the same page when RPing. Don't God play. That means you can't control the actions of others. Only stick with your actions. Also, make your posts 10-15 sentences in length.

8. PM Advertising: Yes, this needs a separate rule from regular advertising. There's nothing that angers an admin more than to hear that someone has gone and messaged everyone on their board saying "This site sucks, but mine's better come check it out!" So don’t do it. If you receive a PM advertisement, don't reply to it but rather, forward it to an admin so we can take care of them. If you care caught PM advertising, you will be banned immediately, no questions asked.

9. Character Limit: Unfortunately, we need one of these. You are only allowed to have three (3) characters. If you so choose to have more than one, everyone must be kept active. I won't check you regularly to make sure you have everyone active unless I think I need to. Don't make me do it. If you keep your characters inactive, they will be deleted starting with your least active.

10. Signatures and Avatars: Alright, I know we all have them and we all love them. And I want you all to have them but a few rules need to be followed for you to have them. Firstly, your avatar must be of your character. Anything else and you will be messaged and asked to remove it. Also, avatars have a size limit of 150x150 pixels. You can't upload anything bigger because it will be automatically resized. As for your signature, you are allowed to have one banner at 550x250 pixels or less in size or up to 3 icons at 150x150 pixels in size or less.

11. Spelling and Grammar: Everyone's guilty of it (even the admins and mods) but we're all trying to stop. When you type a post please keep your spelling correct and your grammar proper. If you're not sure of the spelling of something, look it up online or check it in a program such as Word that have an automatic spell checker or use our old fashioned best friend, the dictionary. As for grammar, use your best judgment. We won't eat you if you put a comma in the wrong place but to try and keep things straight and proper. always proof read your posts! This will ensure that what you typed is actually what you meant and you didn't use the wrong form of a word.

12. God Playing: Last time we checked, higher beings of various religious affiliations didn't Role Play. You control your character only! If you feel someone was controlling your character and you didn't give them concent, PM me immediately. Anyone found god playing will be banned on all of their accounts from the board, no questions asked.

13. Posting Your App: You must post an app within two weeks of registering your character. Also, if we ask for changes, you must make these changes within a week of an admin viewing it. We will delete your account if you don't post an app.

14. Other Important Stuff: Are you reading these rules? If you did, you really don't have to put "I Love Cows" in your app. That's just stupid! Welcome to the site.
