So Tales of Vesperia is getting a re-release on the PS3 this has been done with the game Eternal Sonata.
Tales of Vesperia is gonna "Taken from IGN": Tales of Vesperia. The big news here comes from a short interview with producer Yoshito Higuchi. Work on the PS3 version began after the release of the Xbox 360 version, said Higuchi. He also revealed one additional difference for the game: the event scenes will see different camera angles. http://uk.ps3.ign.com/dor/objects/14254175...6100054780.html It would also appear that with the PS3 will have additional contents: Additional Content Full voice acting Flynn as a playable character Tie-ins with Tales of Vesperia: The First Strike[14] New playable character, a pirate girl called Patty Fleur New Cutscenes New Subplots New Costumes New Bosses (Including the Sword Dancer) New Dungeons New Towns New Hi Ougi/Mystic Artes (including a combo Mystic Arte with Yuri and Flynn) New Skits New Animated Scenes Old Animated Scenes have Patty added in New Sidequests New Songs New Artes Repede and Flynn as selectable on-screen avatars Tag Arena in Nordopolica Coliseum New Quests Remodeled Towns Connectivity with Tales of VS[15] Pre-Order Bonus (Abyss Costumes for Yuri,Flynn,and Estelle) It gets released in japan in September so well see it in 2010 and personally I can't wait |

Assuming the 360 doesn't also get this later as DLC I should be picking this up aswell. I'll happily play through the game again even without this stuff.

HOLY CRAP?!
Those costumes are enough to make me get the PS3 version...I'm kinda hoping XBL won't have this otherwise it'll cheapen their attempt to beautify this beautiful game Judith and Rita in Mizugi <3 |

Okay I've just realised how much I love this game...I'm gonna have to playthough this several times just to get all the achievements and 100% the game...only to go over all of that and more when I get the PS3 version.
I shouldn't be excited...BUT I AM! |

Yeah its a good game shame Bandai screwed 360 port over by not having patty or the other dude as playable charecters eventhough there is clear evidence that your meant to get them. Can't wait for its ps3 us release as soon as its announced im preordering yaaa for the ps3 boooo to the 360.
