I was expecting this waaaaaaaaay long before. Looks sweet as expected of MadHouse. Looks a little bit western style and this one I have no problems with.

Okay, this one took me aback. More negative reactions than positive insights ... and to be honest, I disliked how they murdered Wolverine's look. Long-haired Logan, I mean... oh c'mon! But it doesn't mean I'll pass watching this one. But now that I think about how WESTERN versions perverted anime series/movies (and i don't mean hentai dry.gif sheeesh), I think it's about time Japan struck back on how they made DRAGONBALL into a pathetic load of crap just like how they made shit out of DOA (movie --- what were they thinking when they made Devon Aoki portray the role of Kasumi --- I mean, Kasumi has that huge "asset" and she looks not a chance close to her. But I loved Holly Vallance and Jamie Presley in there. And for crying out loud, they left LEI FANG as a minor and useless character -- and she didn't even look hawt! DAMN YOU WESTERN VERSIONS!)

So with my reactions said, I'm starting to like the idea of the Japanese making shit out of western originals. It is, however, unfortunate, that Logan would suffer for it and feel such shame. Perhaps a skinnier and longer-haired wolverine would entertain us in such a way fanatic otakus (such as I) would feel that justice has been served.

Otaku Geirin



Otaku (お宅) – a Japanese slang defined as a person with a fondness and has strong attachment to the Japanese Pop Culture especially to Japanese Anime and Manga
Geirin (芸林)– taken from the Japanese words “Gei” which means art and “Rin” that partakes to a group; defined specifically as art circle with regards to the whole concept of art whether visual art, literary and music


• Purpose
This organization is created to recognize the existence of students and individuals alike with exceptional skills in the field of Japanese Animation. It soul purpose is the bonding and interaction of Otakus within and outside the school it is based from that recognizes its existence. That these students may have an identity of their own, that they could be proud of.

• Goal
The goal of the organization is to enhance the member’s artistic ability in art works, to develop self confidence, to meet new friends and students with the same likes; such as drawing, writing, and making mangas, and animation. It will also help motivate students to develop their social skills.
