Rainy


Drip, drip, drippity, drip
A gentle rhythmic sound
Clear and transparent

Seeds of all sorts of colors and sizes
Obviously quite fond of a feast
They lavish in damp mud
They sing along to the beat of rain

Droplets of water
Glad to be of assistance
They let the wind guide their flow
Never fighting against the inevitable
Lighting the day of many others
Undoing the effects of thirst
Feeding the young seedlings of the land
Never to give up their quest
