Senior year is supposed to be the best and least drama-filled year of high school. Well, not for the students of Tree Hill High School. Nothing is as what it seems in the small town of Tree Hill, North Carolina. Romance, lies, betrayal, deceit, friendship, lies. Tree Hill has it all. Brooke Davis is the head cheerleader of the cheerleading squad. Her friends have even nicknamed her Cheery. She has the perfect life. Or so it seems. She has no parental supervision since they live in California. She is the most popular girl at school. All the girls want to be her and all the guys want to be with her. Plus, she has a best friend, Peyton Sawyer. Or at least she used to. And she has a boyfriend, Lucas Scott. Or at least she used to. Peyton and Brooke were inseparable when they were little, best friends since elementary school. Brooke was there for Peyton when her mother died and Peyton was always there for Brooke. Nothing could tear them apart. That is, until Lucas Scott came along. Lucas was immediately into Peyton but Brooke wanted him to herself. Eventually, Brooke and Lucas started dating but little to Brooke�s knowledge Peyton and Lucas were sneaking around behind her back. Brooke could not believe either of them would do that to her. Brooke immediately broke up with Lucas and the girls� friendship was broken. Brooke does not care if Peyton and Lucas get together now. When a talented musician by the name of Chris Keller comes to town and Peyton shows an interest in him, Brooke decides to dish it out to Peyton. Peyton cheated on her so Brooke flirts with the boy and it eventually leads to a drunken night of wild sex. However, now Brooke is feeling weird. She is late and does not know what is going on. Brooke suspects that she is pregnant and is scared to death. She can�t have a baby. Is Brooke really pregnant? Is Lucas or Chris the father? If Brooke really is pregnant, will she even keep it? Lucas Scott was always the outsider along with his best friend, Haley James. That is, until he joined the basketball team. He was suddenly popular and he was in his brother�s world. The world that he never thought he would be in. The world that he promised himself that he would never fall in. Girls also started throwing themselves at him. However, he just wanted one girl. Peyton Sawyer. However, she wasn�t having it. So, he started dating Brooke Davis, her best friend. They were pretty happy but he was cheating on her with Peyton. Brooke and Lucas broke up when Brooke found out. Lucas hated himself for it. He still has strong feelings for Brooke and wants her back. He would do anything to have her back in his life. But what if that thing to bring that back together is a baby? Will Lucas support her? Peyton Sawyer is the broody cheerleader that used to be best friends with Brooke Davis. That was until she and Lucas Scott cheated on Brooke behind her back. The two girls are no longer friends. Peyton thought that she wanted to be with Lucas, but after her friendship with Brooke fizzled, she found out that that was not what she wanted at all. Then, a talented, albeit cocky, musician named Chris Keller comes to town. Peyton has always had a love of music and she meets Chris when he comes into the record store. They start talking and Peyton starts to like him. Or is it because she is trying to rebound from Lucas? Either way, Peyton and Chris start spending more time together. How will Peyton react when she finds out that Brooke and Chris sleep together? Does Peyton even like Chris? Haley James is the quiet tutor girl. She always does what she is supposed to. Haley is best friends with Lucas Scott. She was content with where she was. Haley didn�t feel the need to be popular. When Lucas joins the basketball team, Nathan Scott, Lucas�s estranged brother, comes to Haley for help with tutoring. Haley is very reluctant and doesn�t want to at first. However, she comes around and she begins to tutor him on one condition: he leaves Lucas alone. Nathan agrees and the two start to hang out together more. Nathan never thought that he would fall for a girl so different from the girls he is used to dating. However, the attraction is mutual. Haley and Nathan get together and are very happy. Until Nathan starts to go farther than Haley wants to go with their relationship. Haley is a virgin and is waiting until marriage. However, Haley is very much in love with Nathan. Does it really matter if they are married or not? And what happens when Haley finds out that Nathan was just trying to get with Haley to get under Lucas�s skin, even though Lucas and Nathan are best friends now. Nathan Scott is the star of the Tree Hill Ravens basketball team and brother of Lucas Scott. He is the most popular guy at school and is pretty happy, except for his rough home life. Nathan�s dad pressures him on the basketball court and Nathan hates it. The one person who has been able to get Nathan through this time is Haley James. His girlfriend. They got together when she started tutoring him. Nathan fell in love with her and is wanting to take the next step with her, even though that Haley is waiting until marriage. Will Haley and Nathan take that next step? Chris Keller is a talented and cocky musician. He is now living in Tree Hill, taking a break from touring and recording. He goes to the record store one day and finds a curly blonde-headed girl. They begin to talk and surprisingly Chris likes the girl. They like the same music and could talk for hours about it. They seem to have many common interests. Chris and Peyton spend a lot of time together and Chris is very surprised when Brooke Davis starts flirting with him, having no idea that it is a ploy to get Peyton riled up. Brooke seduces Chris and they have a night of wild sex. What is going on with Brooke and Chris? What about Chris and Peyton?
