BE ATTITUDE FOR GAINS

I would like to be the first to introduce myself. I am the commander and creator of this project. These forums are not the main goal, though they do factor in.

Not Enough Golds is a project intended to do what almost no other gaming journalism site seems to get right-- avoiding being elitist assholes both in writing and in personality. Getting back to having FUN with articles.

Previously, I was a long-standing member of AllRPG, and though I never made staff, I constantly supported the site and the amazing talents of both staff and members. Unfortunately, within the past year or so, power through popularity became the standard, and a number of staff members either left, or were simply ignored when things were produced.

I don't want to see the talents wasted, and I've been wanting to do something like this since I was 8.

It's my hope that we'll grow and manage to retain that same soul, not getting wrapped up in "I GOTS TO BE AN INTERNET DICK" or total failure to fight off gaming elitist views(think of any review you've seen where someone praises a game highly but clashes with the score, or randomly blasts something well-received like The Orange Box just because it's not halo).

Above all, let's have some GODDAMN FUN.

Well, we can be assholes, but not the kind that spend every waking moment trying to piss off others and make them feel like shit.

In other words, no giving giving good scores for advertisement blowjobs, no treating other staff like shit just because you have a massive boner for yourself. Unless it's actually amusing and done in jest. But that'd be hard to do.

Oh. Well... yeah, I guess that's okay. I can be an asshole elsewhere.

You're not the kind of asshole I'm talking about. I'm talking like, forces over half of the staff at a place leave because they bitch, whine, and moan anytime someone talks.

Or the type that acts like only they should have any rights 'cause they happen to be rich and attending a rich-boy college and all they do is plug a finger up their ass and masturbate facing a body mirror.
