Hi All,

I know I am a ne member to the guild but wanted to give my input as an experianced hunter. Just so you know where I coming from this is my 2nd, yes 2nd 70 hunter (previous hunter was a Male Dwarf on Bronzebeard). I have read all the requirements etc for hunters and all of the specs available to man and beast but have leant 2 key things about both possible talent trees to go down (I dont see a survival hunter as a choice as they are pants)

Here is what I have learnt about both:

Beast Mastery
Attack Power is NOT the most important thing when been a BM hunter, you need to concentrate on Crit Chance. Have a look at all your BM spells and they are all based around critting, i.e. the more you crit the more dmg you, your pet and other party members do. You also need to look at a slow ranged weapon (the Arena Season 1 Crossbow is VERY good for a BM Hunter).

Ideally as a BM hunter you need to be looking at around a 28% crit chance with 1500 AP.

Marksmanship
Well, as you can gues being a MM hunter the most importnt things are the exact opposite to the above. You need massive attack power (ideally at least 2000 for Gruul etc) with the quickest weapon you can find.

A lot of people will say that a MM hunter does more dmg than a BM hunter, I have been both specs myself and raided Kara, ZA and Gruuls with my Hunter and on all occasions as BM I have done at least 5% more dmg than when MM.

Well thisis my two penneth on Hunters, I have got a lot of experiance Raiding with both specs, PVP'ing with both specs (both Arenas and BG's) so if anyone wants any advice please do not hesitate to ask me in game or send me an e-mail at richard.middleton93@ntlworld.com.

See ya in game.
