I think it’s self-explanatory. Adrian looks human in all respects and doesn’t have a ‘game’ face. In retrospect in appearance he is completely human, and also internally he is human i.e. his organs all work though no one is sure if he will be able to reproduce (him being a scientific impossibility and all). Alignment: Good Canon or Original: Canon Height: 5’6 Weight: 130 lbs Hair Colour: Brown Eye Colour: Blue Body art: None Piercing/Scars: None Strengths: Adrian has been blessed with his parents physical prowess, he is both agile and strong, this tends to lead him to hurting people unintentionally and breaking things. Along with the natural strength and grace of a slayer he also has the amazing vision of a vampire; his night vision can not even be rivalled by the greatest of nocturnal hunters. Enhanced healing is a plus though it is shadowed by that of his parents and sister. Weaknesses: Like all humans Adrian Summers can be killed, a bullet to the heart will do the job nicely or even starvation. He can also die from lack of blood – in the sense that he is not fed any. While he is human Adrian needs small quantities of blood to sustain his existence and with a soul it’s a bitch to just take some. Unlike pure vampires, the young Summers male can walk in direct sunlight; he can also play with crosses and bathe in holy water. The only downside really is that with his night vision he must wear sunglasses in the daylight hours, if he doesn’t he could go blind as his eyes are far too sensitive. General Appearance: 5’6 and weighing 130 lbs Adrian isn’t a particularly large kid. His size can be misleading though and lead to others making grave mistakes, with the fighting ability to compensate for his height and weight the young man is more dangerous than he is given credit for. Naturally brown hair that is, at times bleached to a platinum blond and deadly blue eyes he is the reflection of his father. Though Adrian has never met the man his physical demeanour can often mimic him in the worst ways, with a swagger to his step and a confident air Adrian Summers is quite the charmer in his own right; his steady approach can both put you at ease and terrify you. While he lacks the working class accent and the scarred brow there can be no doubt that Adrian gets his devilishly good looks from his vampire father. With a babyish face Adrian tends to come across as younger than he is and people tend to think he is Cadey’s younger brother, not the other way around. The main physical beauty he gained from his mother was his heart shaped face, and in his mother’s words it is his most endearing feature… along with his all too familiar smirk. He’s also afraid of small spaces. Strengths: Courageous, loyal and brave. Intelligent, inquisitive and curious. Adrian has a blend of both his mother and father’s strengths, the boy has a cunning mind and can be quite devious, and his untouched potential to be a manipulative bastard has escaped no one. Weaknesses: Adrian is a naturally disconnected child, he tends to draw away from others and hide his feelings, this often leads people to get the wrong impression of him. He also lets people walk all over him offering them the opportunity to use him, due to this his own potential is crushed and he is often left thinking very little of himself. General Personality: Happy, would be one word you would not use to describe Adrian. I don’t mean to say he’s an angry or depressed child but he’s just not all that happy. When around his sister, who he would probably class as his best friend, the boy couldn’t be happier – at least with her he can be himself. While the general public would see Adrian as a bit of a menace, he tends to find trouble – or rather trouble finds him wherever he goes. The boy is constantly being picked on by his peers, teachers and the law enforcement alike when a catastrophe reveals itself, and sadly he tends not to have a believable alibi for these things. Not unlike his mother, Adrian drifts in and out of his own world, finding his own burdens hard to carry. He is often drawn in to the lives of others and forced to carry their burdens and secrets as well, at times this leads him to be blind to those around him, not noticing when someone he loves is suffering because he is to absorbed in trying to make everything right. Despite the boy’s kind nature he can be very hostile when angered, his father’s cocky personality taking hold of him. At his worst he is a rather manipulative figure, knowing how to work people to get his way. Luckily this is not something he takes pleasure in doing. Due to his circumstances Adrian often finds a need to prove himself, not only to prove he is capable of living up to what his mother has described his father as, but also to show he is human and that he does have humanity. In typical Summers fashion though, his good deeds tend to blow up in his face, leaving him looking very guilty. History: Adrian was the first born of the Summers twins, it was late August and the weather was unsurprisingly peachy. Their mother was in labour for what seemed like an eternity (7 hours) before the boy was released in to the world and it was another two minutes before a beautiful girl joined him. In honour of his father the boy was christened (after much debating), Adrian William and his mother believed that the entire vampire DNA had somehow missed her children. It was when Adrian turned four that things began to show themselves, not only in him but in his sister as well. For Adrian though the vampiric genes were very physical he began to show great feats of strength and agility, he would lift boxes weighing almost double his own weight. The boy had proven time and again that he could not be held in place by a play pen and soon it was obvious that the vampire lived within this tiny boy. In his eleventh year of life Adrian hit what could be described as puberty. He began to crave blood, not in a frenzied manner but he would become distracted and weak if he did not consume a pint a day. This was soon followed by day blindness, cured only by the use of dark glasses, enhanced by a witches magic. Everyday that passed seemed to bring harder times his way, but thankfully the boy was never plagued with fangs or the demon that is the vampire. He was merely a human that sustained life by both consuming food and blood; he could no longer travel out in daylight without first adorning sunglasses – even in the winter. Over the course of two years Adrian began to become accustomed to these new needs, he learnt to make up elaborate lies about his ‘condition’ and why he would leave class with no word to anyone randomly throughout the day. The teachers were even unaware of the true reason he had to slip out of class. Perhaps this transition would have been harder had the boy not had his sister at his side, the pair taking every change as it came and facing them together. Now at fourteen Adrian knows about his limits, he knows about his immense power and how dangerous he is to those around him. Despite this he tends to let everyone walk all over him, perhaps another thing his father has passed down to him. The Summers boy is prepared for high school now, he has coped with demonic puberty but can he cope with the human side of it, and how will he cope when he learns he will play a pivotal role in the apocalypse?
