I shall tell one of the oldest stories of the world...


Before there was time, before there was anything, the Creator made the Universe, including Earth, and many other planets as well. But only on Earth existed life... No pokemon existed at the time, only humans and ancestoral beings of legendary pokemon. I'm going to tell you of two certain beings today.
One being controlled Light, while the other controlled Darkness...
These beings were in constant feud, for they were the exact opposite, and nothing alike. One day, their feud went to the next level...

The being of Darkness devised a plan so evil, the world never was the same again... He used his powers to trap everyone on Earth in a eternal slumber, being tortured by nightmares until they finally die.
The being of Light noticed, and was furiated by this action. So they met, and they challenged each other to a battle to the death...
Both pokemon were equal in strength, but the Darkness was slowly draining power from its victims. It started to gather up dark matter into a Black Hole that would destroy and suck up everything, including Earth. The being of Light's power faded as the void started sucking its power from it. So in a last attempt, it exploded into a cosmic explosion, destroying itself, the void, and the being of Darkness.
The world felt the light, and those who had died were reborn and freed from the Dark One's spell. The beings of Light and Darkness were no more, but instead left two eggs in the void of space, drifting towards the Moon... The egg made from Darkness being fell on the Moon in its invisible phase, as the egg made of Light fell on the moon when it was in Crescent form. What mysteries do these eggs hold? Who knows, who knows...


Today...

Pokemon, eventually came, as well as people grew more advanced and relied not on the beings anymore... The eggs on the moon hatched around the time pokemon existed, and came to Earth, wondering their purpose in life... They were named Cresselia and Darkrai. They both found each other, and became friends, since they were lonely and weren't accepted by other pokemon. They were pretty different, and every pokemon wondered why they were friends. One day, they discovered an ancient ruin in which the beings were descripted. They happened to come upon the Light and Darkness beings, and were shocked to see their descriptions... They looked so smillar to them, and they pondered if they were reincarnations of them... All of a sudden, the place started to shake, and a flash of light showered the two, showing them the vision of the Light and Dark being's final battle... After seeing this, they sadly knew who they were. Darkrai, reincarnation of the Darkness, who's goal is to destroy Cresselia and make the world suffer an eternal slumber with horrific nightmares. Cresselia, reincarnation of the Light, who's goal is to destroy Darkrai and bring the world peace and happiness. Shocked at this outcome, they ran away from each other, never to be seen again...

1 year later...

The two pokemon have matured and still wish to be friends with each other. But they cannot escape their destiny, so they must destroy each other. Darkrai made the first move... As his father did, he casted darkness across the world, putting the world into a eternal slumber with nightmares, until they died. And to not make his father's mistake, he captured Cresselia before she even sensed the strife and misery being caused to all humans. Luckily though, Darkrai wasn't as strong as his father, so only certain people were cast under the spell...

Cresselia was sent to a unknown place, where its power were useless...
The only thing it can do is use telepathy to contact a trainer strong who has been put under the spell to break free and rescue it! Then once that has been done, Cresselia will give its Lunar Wing to them so that he can free the world from Darkness and stop Darkrai before it becomes too powerful!
Darkrai had taken the first step to ruling the world. Now, it lives in a palace called Nightmare Palace.
The End...



Now you have been unlucky enough to put under Darkrai's spell, never to see the light of day again since you are trapped in the Nightmare Void... But Cresselia has contacted you to save the world! It sees your trainer abilities are great so it has chosen you. She manages to hold enough power to change your nightmare into a pokemon journey, and you will recieve your pokemon to travel and find 8 mystical keys to open the door to Nightmare Palace.


After you defeat the Elite Four, the palace the rise in front of you. Then prepare for the ultimate match with Darkrai... So it is up to youto save the world and Cresselia from eternal darkness and reunite some old friends...

Friendship is something that can never be broken...
