Birthday: June 23rd

Eye Color: Murky blue

Hair Color: Jet black

Likes: Women, pretty men, silver, red wine, chocolate, leather, velvet, silk

Dislikes: Blood, vampires, mud, chips, toads, garlic, zombies

Personality:
Nemesis is a strange man. He’s a proud, social man, but a humble one as well when among authority. He often doesn’t speak his mind, but will talk about feelings of others and anything not about him. When with strangers, he doesn’t strike conversation easily. First he waits for a few minutes to see what the strangers as doing and then strikes a conversation. Though not a nervous fellow, he does seem to shy away from people very often—especially at day time. When with friends, he tends to be less polite and joke around most of the time. However, he gets very easily offended by friends as well so he doesn’t have many. If he is around someone he doesn’t like, Nemesis is often sarcastic and even sadistic.

When alone, Nemesis often just stays quiet for long intervals and then starts muttering to himself aloud. And if there is a mirror around, he goes and sits/stands in front of it, inspecting himself. Often he is very moody alone and is rarely content to only be by himself. After all, it seems to be in his genes to love being around people.

Nemesis is not a guy that commits to one thing. He likes variety and so he multitasks and does everything he wants without looking too bad. He is kind and sympathetic to others due to his empathy. Yes, he is a very sensitive guy. Intelligence and common sense are two other things he has so he is a careful person. Often he knows exactly what to say, making him a good companion if one can stand his constant mood swings. Also, for some unknown reason, Nemesis comes off as a very romantic guy and can melt women into a puddle with not only is looks, but as well as personality. Lastly, he is a very convincing leader and strategist. He often doesn’t serve, but is served even though he’s not royalty.

Nemesis is a moody guy as well. He can be happy at one point, but sad at another. When he has these mood swings, he is humorless and will lash out at anyone that tries to joke or tease him. He is also a sadistic person as mentioned before. He has done various inquisitions before and his sadistic side sends chills through anyone that is near him when he is with someone he doesn't like. He can be very morbid as well--the morbidity coming from his vampire side. Also, Nemesis doesn't like talking about himself--personality self, that is. When asked personal questions, he will ignore and fall silently into his mood swings.

Appearance:
As both his parents were quite the lookers, Nemesis is no exception. Long, jet black hair falls past his shoulders and reach the small of his back. It is almost always tied loosely with a ribbon and his long bangs (though tied along with the rest of his hair) do at times fall over his eyes and shoulders. His eyes are a murky blue color that darken further when he gets moody. When hunger strikes, his eyes no longer resemble a human’s and flashes blood red.

As a dhampir, he is immortal and therefore doesn’t look a day older than twenty. He is a beautiful man with rather feminine features. In fact, he often gets mistaken for a woman because of his beauty. Nemesis’s ears are human’s ears and dangling from his left ear is a shard of glass held by a small silver chain. His lips, unlike a vampire’s are full and pink like a human’s and vampirific teeth do not show unless he is thirsty for blood. Nemesis’s skin is deathly pale, but still warm and sometimes color reaches his cheeks. He is of a tall and wiry build and always stands tall unless he is in need of hiding.

Nemesis’s clothing style consists of a black pair of pants that vary from velvet, silk or leather held up by a silver belt. Often he wears a long black robe or cloak and buttons the last few buttons, revealing his lean, smooth chest. Oddly he seems to have no body hair like a normal human or even vampire. When feeling slightly more cold, his robe will be either a tighter one that is neck high or loose, but buttoned up. Hanging loosely from his waist is a velvet sash that tightens his clothing around the waist area and serves as a stabilizer as well for his hidden sword on his silver belt. In formal occasions, Nemesis wears tighter, collar-high robes with a white dress shirt underneath. However, he never wears over three layers. The dhampir’s favorite footwear happens to be black leather boots with buckles on the sides.

History:
Four thousand years ago, Nemesis was born to his human mother in the Happy Grounds as a dhampir. However, no trace of his father was left but a shard of glass that his mother wore as an earring and so he took the surname of his mother, Beauregard. After his birth, he and his mother moved to the Neutral Grounds to prevent others from mocking her and her bastard child. During the first fifty years of his life, Nemesis learned to control his vampire appetites and adapt as a human while learning bits and pieces about his father. But ten years later, his mother was tried and forcefully taken back to the Happy Lands to be burned for her shameful union with their enemy. During his final visit with his mother, Nemesis received the glass earring from his mother and was revealed that it was an actual magical item or a piece of it that belonged to his father—a powerful vampire from the Nightmare Grounds. Before the dhampir could pursue with more questions, he was forced to leave the Happy Grounds before his mother was burned. However, he stayed at the edge and for a long time just stood at the border of the Happy Grounds, smelling the burning of his mother and her tortured cries from afar. It was on that day that he vowed to find his father and hold him responsible for his mother’s gruesome death.

But he was delayed for there was conflict and such that he had to deal with. Soon, Nemesis became one of the many governors of the Neutral Grounds despite his background and he helped the Neutral Grounds maintain their name. For a thousand years he went to the Nightmare Grounds and back to solve troubles and such, but never once saw anyone that looked remotely like his father. And in those years, he learned how to handle magic and his magical item from the Nightmare Grounds.

Another thousand years passed and he soon became very adept with magic and grew famous among the Neutral Grounds as a magician. Nemesis spent many of his days then discovering romance and how to deal with it. On one of these occasions many years later, he met Kira Majika, a human Necromancer at that time. Instantly he fell in love with her, but she did not return the feelings and got married to another Necromancer. Heartbroken, he never saw her again until she had aged 51 and ventured off to the Happy Grounds. Often he got to talk with her and Kira would always mention what a handsome young man he was and how much he looked like a teacher of hers when she was still in school.

A few years later, war broke out unexpectedly between the Happy Grounds and the Nightmare Grounds. Nemesis busied himself preventing either side form harming the Neutral territory and found out form Kira that the war had started because of her. Anger surged through and he lost all sense, wounding the old necromancer and left her to die. But that never happened, for Kira had the stolen book and she was restored to her young self and helped the Nightmare warriors defeat the Happy Grounds, driving them back fiercely.

After the war, Nemesis resigned and went into retirement. During those few years of retirement, he decided to start planning on how to find his father—if he was still alive. However, he never once took a step into Nightmare Territory ever since he got word that Kira Majika had succeeded as the Headmistress of their renowned Academy. But he sent spies in and gathered much information about the vampire inhabitants. One name struck him as odd among them and that name was a name of a vampire only a thousand years older than him. Quickly he chose that name and that specific vampire to spy upon. However, no matter how many spies he sent to look for that vampire, they always came back either half-alive or not remembering a thing. Perplexed, Nemesis spent many years just staring at the scarce information his had. However, it soon came to his attention that the earring might help and so he took a closer look at the earring and realized the insignia upon it was Vlad. Excited, Nemesis went over to the City of Vlad, but found nothing about a vampire relative of theirs. And so he left the city and continued his vain search for that specific vampire.
