Magical Item: A wooden hockey stick that comes with it’s own black puck, which she enjoys to knocks towards misbehaving students and some other people. The puck has no magical properties though; it is just for physical punishments.

Personality: Hypatia’s overall attitude is pretty much the same to all kinds of people except towards those she highly respects. Towards strangers, she rarely initiates any sort of conversation unless it’s a must and even then, her tone and gestures are all but kind and compassionate. Even to her colleges she may sound a bit sarcastic and a little arrogant, especially towards the Headmistress, the Poisons Master, the Misfortune-telling Teacher and Mr. Ted-ie as she disapproves of them, each for different reasons. However, Hypatia could and will behave in a friendly manner to someone, but only those who she deem truly wise and powerful. Such a respect she would rarely give anyone else, and that obviously include her students. Even if they can contradict her, it would not matter. In the classroom, she expects the utmost orderly behavior from all her students and would punish any who would choose to be disruptive.

When she is alone, she would work on her own studies to expand her knowledge and skill in the area of Transformations and even a few other subjects occasionally. If not that, then she would calmly rest her mind and try to reason with herself how was the Headmistress and the Deputy Headmaster were suitable for their positions. She rarely finds any, and she gets quite upset with herself when she doesn’t. So in order to calm herself, she strives to be the best in her subject as well as to have the best house. Though, that doesn’t mean she would show favoritism towards any of her house members since she finds the idea below herself.

When it comes to other subjects, she’ll willingly admit defeat. But when it comes to her subject, she is very likely to go mad with rage upon any sort of correction. Common mistakes she can ignore, but something that she felt she should have known will make her pick up that hockey stick of hers and knock the puck towards whoever corrected her. Though, when she’s really upset, she usually misses and ends up breaking a vase or two. In drastic cases, she may even use actual magic.

Appearance: With an decent figure and face of a human in her late twenties, Hypatia doesn't look that bad despite the gray streaks on the left side of her long black hair that is normally held up by a large red clip. They normally cover her ears, which are more pointy than a human's. Her face is quite clear of blemishes other then the large annoying burn spot on her right cheek that she normally hides in the eyes of others. From head to foot, her skin is rather tanned and rarely seems to shift in color if it does at all. Those gray eyes of hers almost always have a stern focus on something whether it is a student or a wall. Hypatia doesn’t actually put much on her face except for a particular face cream, and she rarely ever wears jewelry except during special occasions.

Hypatia wears a rather extravagant blood red and brown robe with a long black cape while she is on duty. The robe is long, and would be rather loose if it weren’t for the gold embroidered brown belt she wore with everything she owned. Though, the sleeves are a rather nice fit and happen to be of mostly blood red with gold embroidered. The rest if the robe is not much different except it has much more brown. Hypatia also wears this during formal occasions and always does her best to keep it clean and perfect. If she were not wearing this, then she would be wearing a simple and loose brown robe. Underneath, she normally wears a loose vanilla colored thin dress, and it also serves as her nightgown. For footwear, she normally wears brown lady dress shoes with practically no heel.

History: Hypatia was born a Delepitorae and raised as one from her Delepitorae mother, who was her only family member as far as she knew, as she never actually met her father. From the ages of one to ten, she was thought the basics of magic and various other subjects that a young demon should know. However, around the age of eleven, she began to learn about the human world and somehow gained an interest in the sport called hockey while doing a little bit of exploring around the Happy Grounds. Her mother was quite upset about this, why would a young demon would take interest in something so trivial bewildered her until she felt she had to take drastic measures.

Years when on, and Hypatia’s lessons became more difficult as she improved. She was rarely let out of her mother’s sight and soon her mother’s strict ways sort of grown on her. During those years, Hypatia had also developed a rather sarcastic and arrogant tone when she would talk back to her mother. It was also around this time that Hypatia received that rather large burn mark on her right cheek. However, it wasn’t like Hypatia wasn’t grateful as she began to apply the same rules to herself for pretty much everything she did. Although Hypatia never bothered to learn the rules of hockey, it was just the hitting and aiming part as that was what she found the fun. Though the competitive atmosphere would also be a thrill, she had no one to compete with in that secluded home of theirs.

Many years had pass when she ventured farther out into the Happy Grounds. As few could actually tell that she a half-demon, she was free to walk about the normal folk. During the few years she wondered about here, she ran into a group of teenagers playing a simple game of hockey. Despite the fact that she had no understanding of the rules, she decided to see if she could beat them. Hypatia was quite pleased with herself in the end, though she missed every shot; she was able to hit the majority of the people on the playing field. However, the citizens of the Happy Grounds were not so happy and chased her passed the Neutral Lands all the way to Dogscream Village where she first learned of the Nightmare Academy. She was far too excited by her accomplishment to think of retaliating.

Intrigued by the school and in need of a job, she thought she would see what they had available. She had originally wanted the position of Headmistress, but seeing that was impossible, she settled for applying as the Transformation teacher since was it her favorite subject of those offered. When Kira Seria Majika was promoted to Headmistress, she was very displeased, but has been slowly learning to accept it with each passing day. She has made little progress since then though. Meanwhile, she was also working on improving herself in hopes that maybe her chance will come before she grows too old to care. However, with Master Vlad still around, she didn’t and still doesn’t believe that would be possible.

Pet: Sullivan a.k.a. Squishy Sully is an average sized black jumping spider with excellent eyesight due to its large front middle row eyes. Though he’s pretty good at jumping on his own prey, he tends to get flatten by Miracledoomer’s puck a little too often. She is still not sure how he can still live. Somewhere along the way, he was given a nickname by one of Miracledoomer’s acquaintances and it has stuck with him since.
