The site is now open, and not much has happened so far except New Alory has four members.
Looking for affiliates, so if you have a rp site and you'd like to link with us leave a message in the c-box (left) and I'll get back to you ASAP. There is also a forum for affiliates in the ooc section, so you could post a banner and a link there.
Season: Autumn

Welcome to New Alory.
This is a semi-literate role play site about wolves. All active members are welcome.
I will be changing a few things as the rp progresses and hopefully we will get a plot running soon. If you have any queries or suggestions you can either post them on the appropriate board or throw me a pm.

It wasn't the best of impressions for a newcomer to the lands, empty save for the rocks lying everywhere. Not too far ahead was of course the great mountains. Dangerous, steep and death marked. You'd have to be very sturdy on your feet to dare to climb that, or simply very foolish.
More rocks lay at it's base, they seemed to give another warning, as if the mountain didn't provide one strong enough. Jagged, sharp and certainly injured many a wolf. A few were stained, marked by the blood of most probably the fools that had thought themselves good enough for the challenge, instead meeting their end, or at least giving themselves a severe injury, meaning they wouldn't forget that mountain in a hurry.

One wolf however still continued on wards. He wasn't one like the fools who'd soon meet an end or injury, he liked to think he had more sense than that. He was rather plain coloured wolf, your standard colourings, grey though he had a lighter white underside. He was a fairly large wolf, slightly bigger than average, and clearly quite strong too.
His eyes were yellow in colour, and as he paused, they looked to the mountain, just in time to see a small form fall. A young creature of some sort, though one word stuck into his mind.
Death.
He'd seen quite a lot of it, too much. No longer could he remember his original pack, most were murdered including all of his family. Others fled and some, like himself, were forced to join the evil wolves that had killed them. He was trained to fight, trained to be strong. He'd hated every bit of it. All he wanted was a normal life, and a family.
At the memories, he sighed and seemed to hear a voice in his head. It was only his imagination, but comforting all the same.

"All will be fine in time, Iwaiho"

He remembered the line he'd always loved, the line that his mother had said just before her death. They'd been the last words she'd spoken to him, possibly anybody.

"All will be fine in time"

They'd been words from a song, a poem she'd sung to them every night before they went to sleep, though now Iwaiho struggled to remember the whole song, and that disappointed him. Though he was glad to know he'd never forget the 6 words his mother had said. He felt he wouldn't forget them, and he was certain that was the truth.

"All will be fine. I'm free, I'm alive and I'm fine. Now's the time, the time to make it work" He called out to the winds, as if the air would carry the words to his mother, proving that her phrase had been true, proving he could do the very thing she'd told him.

His yellow eyes now showed a confidence in them. A look brought forwards from the strong feeling he had inside.

Now the young wolf turned from the dangerous rocks, a new destination in mind. So far the lands he'd explored here had been empty and some in ruins. Though he'd continue traveling now in a new direction; a direction Iwaiho had no idea that would bring him towards the newly formed Alory, a pack which he may join.
With the confidence in his head, he was more certain than ever he'd find a place, and so far, these seemed like the best lands to make it all work, it he could.
He picked up his pace after a while, and soon Iwaiho was running and reaching new lands, further from the rocks, and closer to the pack.
