On the Hill, The Dens

[Eldarwen]

Aonew nodded his head rapidly. His stomach gave a small rumble, the wolf clearly was quite hungry.
"Shall we go then, are you coming Khoe?" Euoke asked, looking to Myst and then to Khoe, waiting for the answers.
"I'm not too hungry, think I'll stay here" Khoe responded simply.

[Myst]

Myst suppressed a small chuckle as Aonew's stomach rumbled.
'Ok, I'll see you later then.' She smiled, and with a gesture of her muzzle began to walk. 'There's some good game at the Tundra.'

[Eldarwen]

"Let's go then." Euoke stated and followed and Myst begun to lead the way. Aonew paused for a moment, looking at Khoe, wondering why she was staying, but soon he forgot all about it as he ran to catch up with Euoke and Myst.

[Eldarwen]

Khoe's ears pricked as she heard a howl from the border and she rose quickly to deal with it. Myst was on her hunt and she didn't want to disturb her, it was a chance for her to get to know the rest of her small pack. Khoe thought she also should get to know them better, but she hadn't felt like a hunt that morning and besides, it would be easier for her, she was only a beta, not the alpha. Someone had to watch the lands anyway, just in case someone did come, and she was glad that she'd stayed. Running down the hill that she'd chosen to sit on and heading towards the borders of the pack.

[Eldarwen]

Soon Khoe returned again, with another wolf following behind her. He was a large grey male, he looked strong and seemed to be rather polite.
Iwaiho was his name and as he entered the lands he was silent and simply watching them with his yellow eyes.
'This could be home' He thought to himself, but he had yet to meet Myst, she would be in charge of whether he stayed or left.

[Myst]

The alphess arrived from the Tundra, dragging their kill by one of its limbs. She dropped it when they came closer to the dens and she saw the new wolf. Smiling she padded up to him.
'Hello! I'm Myst - the alpha.'

[Eldarwen]

Euoke and Aonew followed, dragging it also and they two dropped it near the base of the hill though didn't follow their alphess to the top.
"Whose that?" Aonew asked his brother. Euoke shrugged.
"Don't know, a new member maybe" He said simply then looked to Khoe as she padded down to join them and let Myst speak with Iwaiho.
"He wants to join the pack, he's called Iwaiho" Khoe explained seeing the two wished to ask her a question and she guessed it was that.

Iwaiho dipped his head as she neared and he was silent for a moment as she spoke to him. After she'd finished, he raised his head slightly so she could see his face and he could clearly see who he was speaking too.
"A pleasure to meet you miss" He began. He could see she was less formal than himself, but manners had always been taught to him by his birth pack and parents. Total respect for those higher than you, especially to the alpha, had been demanded by the fighters he had to join. He would have been punished if he didn't, though of course this was quickly abandoned in any fight. "My name is Iwaiho, I'm a kerl, though I wish to join your pack if you would allow me to. I can't offer much in return, only my word to stay loyal and protect you and your pack." He finished and dipped his head slightly again as he waited for an answer.

[Myst]

'Well, that's all I would ask. Of course you can join.' Myst replied. 'You've met Khoe already, those two down there are Euoke and Aonew. They're members.' She gestured down the hill with her muzzle.

[Eldarwen]

"Thank you very much" Iwaiho smiled and then looked down the hill as Myst gestured to the two wolves near the bottom with Khoe. He still sat there, waiting in case Myst had anything else to say to him or until she left or allowed him too. Of course he was certain that Myst wouldn't mind him simply walking away now, still part of his mind made him stay there, and he obeyed, he wouldn't ruin this.

[Myst]

'Are you hungry? We've just brought a kill from the Tundra - I'll show you around later but now you can go down and get to know the others.' Myst said, turning to jump down the hill herself. Her stomach rumbled slightly and she began to help herself to the meat.

[Eldarwen]

"Yes, slightly" Iwaiho nodded and followed Myst down the hill. "That would be great thank you" He added, at her offer to show him around the lands. He stood back as Myst began to tuck into the meal, but he was not alone in his actions for although they had helped on the hunt, both Euoke and Aonew stood still.
"I'm Iwaiho, Myst has told me that you are Euoke and Aonew" He guessed which way round they were as he looked to them as he said each name. He'd gotten a rough idea from Myst's earlier pointing from the hill, but he couldn't be certain.
"Yeah" Euoke nodded. "We joined a little while ago" Euoke explained.

[Myst]

After sating her appetite Myst backed from the kill. She'd noticed that the others had hesitated and gave a toss of the muzzle to indicate they could all tuck in.

[Eldarwen]

Aonew needed no further telling and he dashed forwards to it, pulling off a large chunk of meat and chewing it greedily and swallowing quickly. He choked a little, having not chewed it all properly and after a few breaths he recovered.

Euoke also took a bite of the meat, but he was much more careful than his brother and he simply shook his head a little as he choked on it.
"Be careful Aonew" Euoke sighed after swallowing.

Once Aonew and Euoke had begun, Iwaiho too pulled off a chunk for himself and chewed it slowly. He said little else until Aonew choked again.
"Are you alright?" He asked
"He does it all the time. He's like a pup, doesn't understand his limits" Euoke explained. "Numerous times I've thought about breaking off tiny chunks for him"
Aonew hadn't listened though as he ripped off more again. This time he managed to eat without choking.

[Myst]

Myst sat grooming herself, looking round when Aonew choked, but his brother didn't seem concerned. She glanced at her Beta.
'You not hungry?' she asked Khoe.

[Eldarwen]

"No" Khoe shook her head. "If I'm hungry later I'll find something" She responded simply, though she expected there would still be a little of the kill left later on, unless they let Aonew have it all, which it seemed he actually would.

Iwaiho sat back from the meal and away from the alpha and beta as the two spoke. Though Euoke continued to eat a little, watching his brother carefully and so Iwaiho watched the two females as they spoke.
